It's really hard to say something is perfect when actually nothing is that way. But I really enjoyed watching Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi, which is slice-of-life kind of drama.  I'd say it's minimal in action and words, yet so realistic. The main characters portrayed by Eita and Ryhei Matsuda are just quite down-to-earth guys with nothing heroic at all, but they have a superb interaction. And all of that seasoned with a  Japanese humor.
