Have you ever felt like doing something just because you saw it in a drama?

This usually happens to me when it comes to food, lol. Earlier I was watching a drama and they were talking about how great rice with a little butter and shoyu tastes. All of a sudden I just had to have it! (fortunately it was dinner time, hehe)

Another example was when I watched Rebound. I always wanted to try the cakes because the main character acted like they tasted sooooo~ good, hehe.

Has watching a drama ever "made" you do something? :)
made me start learning japanese. now i say ittai when something hurts instead of ow or ouch. i learned to make sushi and onigiri cuz i see them eating them all the time on dramas. and i started eating noddles with chop sticks all the time nowadays.

janken. i stop saying rock paper scissors 123 go and instead say the japanese janken. "Saisho wa guu, Janken pon! Aiko desho!" as i have learnt from watching too many arashi shows. :p

oh and the side ways peace signs near their eyes as they wink and they when the take photos i've been doing that too.
it makes me say korean words to my guy and my child. They used to make fun of me and now when I say "ppalli!" ...they go a little faster. Or if I say "OMO!" or "eotteoghae!" D asks ...what's wrong? Also I made D take me to a Korean restaurant where we ate some delicious spicy tofu stew and kimchee jigae.
Haha Watching Lunch Queen really made me want to make Omurice. :p
Man that drama made me want to eat, period lol I was munching on junk food the whole time I was watching it.
Every time I see them having Ramen..I end up making one for myself (almost every single time lol)..and I also try and eat it the way they do with chopsticks and the slurrp sound..:D
kamz: yeah same here XD

Haha I eat my Ramen with chopsticks too. But I fail when it comes to slurping. :(
Jdrama Q10 made me copy Kyuto's voice and words, like: "Watashi wa Kyuto des" X)
slurping is hard, lol. They always look so into the food when the slurp, but i don't think I'll ever be able to do it. I've spent 2 decades trying not to make sounds when I eat. It's a hard habit to reverse, lol.

trust me...slurping makes it yummier than it actually is..try it..cmon, i know you can do it :D...i too don't make sound while eating otherwise but when it comes to noodle i try my best to slurp as loud as i can lol

Haha I have to make Ramen, too, when I see someone eating Ramen in a drama. It just makes me crave ramen :p

Dramas have made me say "Omo" all the time now haha, I also blurt out random Korean phrases or words just because I know them :p Dramas make me wanna learn the languages, all of them actually haha. Although it's asking too much to learn 3 or 4 languages at once :p

Haha Yeah My mom drilled into me at a young age to not make noises while eating. In American culture, it's considered rude, but I honestly don't care if you make noises while you eat as long as your food stays in you mouth. But I still have trouble slurping. lol
I actually feel like eating ramen too, but since I've never had it, I'd like to keep it that way...lol

BUt I do say random Korean phrases like "omo", "aigoo" "ppalli" "jjinjja"

And now that I'm watching more Japanese ones I find myself saying "Yukata" a lot...lol
