2024 Year-End Bl Drama Awards

Day 16 - Best Emotional Scene

Since I don't want to think too much, I'm going to pick the most recent scene that really got to me.

See Your Love Ep8/9. The ending/starting scene (well these are actually two different scenes) were Zi Xiang tells Shao Peng (in short) that he doesn't have to overcompensate for being deaf, that just being himself was enough. The acting was so well done and I could feel Shao Peng's initial anger, then sadness, and the need for Zi Xiang to comfort him.

Day 17 - Best Kiss Scene

I really am tired because I can't think of many-- I do remember really liking the fantasy kiss scene in ep1 of Century of Love

I only just finished ep 3 of Love Sick and I'm completely blown away. I mean it grabbed from from the very start of the first episode, but I did NOT expect this at all. I have watched a lot of series, of which many I have deeply adored, but I haven't felt this way watching a series since Stay With Me, which is my all time #1 favorite series.

That's high praise. I wasn't sure about watching this series, but maybe so? I haven't seen the original.

How is everyone?

It's only been a few days but I've had enough lying in bed sick to last a lifetime. I'm feeling down cuz I won't be able to join the holiday activities with my family, which includes a surprise marriage proposal. Family said they will try to video live it for me. **crying**
