AUGUST CHALLENGE - DAY 3 - QUOTE/POEM/HAIKU
I'm really passionate about this topic, so I hope everyone won't mind if I overshare by posting more than one three. I honestly felt stressed choosing just one or two. We can write as much as we want, so I am LOL.

I found this quote long ago and it's closest to my heart and the "inner" me.
"Just living is not enough," said the butterfly. "One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower."
- Hans Christian Andersen

Another favorite...
Someone asked, "How can I be free?"
Shintou replied, "Who has put you in bondage?"

I save favorite cookie fortunes and here are two of my best:
"Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it." - Salvadore Dali
"Don't be afraid of opposition; remember, a kite rises against the wind."

Lastly, I'm no writer for sure, but one day these little sentences came to me and I liked them.
A flower opens
A bird sings
The heart gladdens
Nature is hope.

Early morning
lying awake still
mind wandering
truth visits me.
