I have one question.  Where do you get the music from?  I usually find them on YouTube but the quality and availability is limited.  Where can we get the real thing?

You mean like streaming or a physical CD?

I mean, I've been lucky to find a few OST's on Amazon Music, but seems like others have some success on Spotify.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are only available in the org. country. I've had difficulty using the org. language names too. Sometimes it works to use Google translate, but that's even kinda rare.

I'm sure there are a few MDL members who knows what's what, lol. Maybe they will see your post!

Yeah I mean I have sometimes had to use like a Japanese website to find an OST CD and just Google translated my way through the checkout page. It's tricky though I don't think all sites do international shipping. I know some people will use a courier service or ask a friend to help them purchase stuff, especially limited time sales. I've seen a few of those kinds of sales on Etsy but idk how legit those are. 

The other alternative is to torrent like maybe on nyaa. There used to be some pretty good direct download music archives for anime, but I think the last one I knew of was taken down. 

When it comes to finding tracks on Spotify

•  what I usually do is go to the drama page, copy and paste the native language title. Usually in Spotify it's the right one if the title is in weird brackets like something that looks like <<text>>  or maybe 《text》 for Chinese titles and something that looks like a strange L shape on the left and upside-down L shape on the right for Japanese titles. Usually the drama title is  in the place where they have the album title. 
• Alternatively, looking up the translated drama title will pop up fanmade playlists that sometimes people use an accurate tracklist for. 
• If you know who the composer is, you can sometimes find the instrumental OST that way.

H Yan Bin aka Tiger Hu  "Returning door / Resurrection Door" from   The Mystic Nine, the complete Longest Day In Chang'an OST (the one with Reza's rock song that uses Bai Li's poem about a swordsman), and my most recent obession, the Intro song from Original Sin (there is a version on youtube believe it or not!) 

For Mystic Nine, I found this in Apple Music but I'll let you search for the specific track since idk what it sounds like.
