Gahahaha*just realized it too* :p

I have noticed recently the japanese word for milk is really similar...but I forgot right now >_<

yuki=snow
kaze=wind
arashi= storm

I had to rewrite right now...so the last one I forgot -.-
cow's milk = ぎゅうにゅう (gyuunyuu) but i think they usually just say ミルク (miruku) which is just a borrowed english word

Oh thanks for your help! :) I think it was miruku ミルク
Btw where do you get the japanese kanji´s,katakana,hiragana from? Is there any site on the web with them?
Because I want to practice using them....
hmm i found instructions somewhere to change the language on your keyboard so you can type in Japanese, but in this case i just copied and pasted hahaha i looked them up on jisho.org which is an english-japanese dictionary online, very handy
ah i had posted it in the resources thread. here you go :)

here are instructions on how to change your keyboard to Japanese, it's pretty neat. you type in romaji and it converts to either hiragana katana or kanji. if you hit spacebar while the word is still underlined it shows you different ways of writing it. then when you want to go back to english just hit shift+alt. no download, it's all built into windows (there are mac instructions as well). it also has instructions to download Japanese and other language fonts if you haven't done that yet. the site has other resources as well.

or if it's too much trouble or seems too complicated you can use a virtual keyboard to type in hiragana and then just copy and paste into wherever you want to post it.. http://www.linguanaut.com/japanese_keyboard.htm
Baaaaka! really adore this word. a very expressive^^
Baka! ^^'
Doushite; because you can say it in so many ways c:
Doushite, Dou-shi-te, Dou-sh'-te >.<

And I like this part of 'Eien' by Yusaku Kiyama;
だから君に今日は言うよ 永遠の愛を誓うよ
dakara kimi ni kyou wa iu yo eien no ai o chikau yo
Therefore I say to you today, I promise eternal love
I wish there was something like yoroshiku onegai shimasu (and otsukare sama deshita) in my language. Whenever I have to work with new people it's quite awkward and we don't really have some natural sounding phrase like that, and translation sounds stiff and it's used only in correspondence.
Mine is "Are?" (="eh?"). I absolutely adore when some funny characters say it (like Nakatsu in Hana Kimi for example :p).
- Aho ka omae? -> Aho = Baka = Stupid
- Teme -> Like, a super rude f saying "You"
Chotto matte kudasai~!
Sumimasen!
Daijoubu desu.
Iie~! D:
Nande ya nen!?!?

<3 Kansai ben
nande? - Why... miru - watch.. Desu - It is.. <3 Eien - Eternity.. That is some obvious faves for me.. ^^,
Not sure if anyone has said it yet but my absolute favorite is "ありえないつの!" = unbelievable :D anyone know why ;) heh heh. I also like 愛してる、だいすきです and 時々 :D
oh and I can't forget バカじゃないの!which i playfully use with the students in my jap class :P
