Synopsis:
At 17, Tae Woong (Hyun Bin), a mathmatical genius, meets two people who will later become people he loves. One becomes his best friend and the other, his love. Tae Woong's best friend, Kim Jeong Kyu (Lee Sun Ho), also classified as a genius, competes for academic accolades. After Tae Woong beats him in an international math Olympiad Jeong Kyu commits suicide. During this same time, Tae Woong meets a little girl who develops a crush on him. However, he loses touch with her without finding out her name. These tragic events take their toll on the rest of Tae Woong's life. At 25, eight years later, Tae Woong is now a third class boxer and in unexpected events, finds Bo Ra (Sung Yu Ri), the little girl he once knew.

I have a confession to make ~ I started watching this purely because Hyun Bin is beautiful to look at but I ended up loving it because it is a well written and melancholy love story. This was my 4th or 5th kdrama & i did like it although a lot of the angst some of the characters went thru was unnecessary in my opinion....but isnt that always the way :D Oh & Binnie speaking Engrish in one of the earlier episodes has to be seen to be believed it made me howl with laughter ...sorry Binnie fans :p

Oh my goose! That scene of him speaking English. Why is unintentionally funny even more hilarious! I've heard him speak English since and he's improved....a bit. lol.

Bless him his English was so bad If they didnt have subs I wouldnt have had a clue what he was saying....im glad he has improved now.

I have! I hope you don't mind. I like it more than the other thing I usually say. lol ...Watch it when you are in the mood for melo and I tell ya... Binnie being gorgeous makes it easy on the eyes.

I so much loved this drama and not because of Hyun Bin or Sung Yuri who's BTW my acting idol :p BUT because of the story. It was so beautiful, I would mark this drama as a masterpiece. ♥

yea, esp. since he was supposed to be making fun of some other dude's english, when the other dude was much better at it. :P

i love this drama, but....ugh...i cant even talk about it. i'm scared for life.

yeah, there aren't many of them, most of these boxing scenes are when they're just practicing.

Okay then. I added it to my plan to watch list. Maybe after the exam session ends I will give it a try. :)
Is Hyun Bin's English worse than in Late Autumn? I saw a preview of this movie and it is really bad. :D
