[Discussion] The Sun of My Master

I'm seriously loving this drama. Tae Gong Shil and Joo Jong Won have an adorable relationship. Even the villains are cute. At first I was hesitant to watch this drama because I get scared easily but this drama isn't that scary so I'm relieved. I can't wait for next week's episodes.

This drama is not a little bit scary to me, I don't know, I'm not even shocked when something or someone appears out of nowhere, that's why I'm not that hooked at the beginning episodes. However, since episode 4, the drama picked up, still not horrifying but the romance-comedy aspect was something you can't ignore, the couple was truly cute onscreen. Well, well, the recent episodes gave the time for Joo Joong Won to finally warm up to our very adorable heroine. I like Gong Hyo Jin as an actress and so far, she was doing a very good job in this drama. This had 20 episodes, gah, please be good till the end because so far, it's so enjoyable to watch.

I love the OST on the end of episode 5. According to soompi, it was " Touch Love", sung by Yoon Mi Rae (Tasha).

Actors Gong Hyo Jin and So Ji Sub have been showcasing their brilliant chemistry on currently airing drama “Master’s Sun.”

Insiders from the filming set of “Master’s Sun” dished some adorable details on the two actors, saying, “So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin are not only inseparable when the camera’s rolling, but also off-camera. They just light up the set! Of course, when it’s time to practice their lines, both actors take their jobs seriously. But during the breaks, they tell stories and help create a warm and inviting atmosphere.”

It was also reported that So Ji Sub is an actor beloved by staff for his carefree and easygoing spirit. The way he treats his fellow co-star actresses is also said to be different from others. Gong Hyo Jin and So Ji Sub met for the first time through “Master’s Sun.” However, the two stars clicked immediately and drew the attention of curious staff.

Can we ship this couple, please?

Nope, same here. I really need to stop shipping them though, I'll just get depressed eventually ;A; I just hope he won't end up with that other woman I forgot the name of.

I like Gong Sil with Joong Won too though, they're such charismatic and lovable characters.

I ship the main couple as well!!! ;) I just hope Seo in Guk/Kang Woo doesn't fall in love with Yi Ryeong - they are making her cute now in the drama!! Noooooeeessss!! ;D Also I want more jealousy on Joong Wons side! Come on! ;D

I'm so in love with this drama, it's stupid! I actually wake up happy on Wed and Thur knowing I'll get to see a new episode! I felt the same way about IHYV, and the chemistry between the two mains... good lord, it sizzles! I LOVE when two actors can have that, it's just amazing to watch.

For some weird reason I seriously enjoying the writing of this drama at first they us see Kang Woo calling that Adjusssi dad so we all go oh look "Kang Woo's father had kidnapped Joong Won, with Hee Joo's help , and here he's with the ransom money building a new shopping mall to be kingdom rival" . Now the old guy turn out to actually be Joong Won's father so we still kind of go to wild guesses maybe Kang woo is Joo Woo brother's episode 8 comes along and well we know that kang woo is just hired power somewhat and we get strong suspicion that daddy probably plotted to get his son kidnapped or simply did not care enough to pay the ransom money. And Hee Joo was aware of this. In the end, he took the chance to kill her, because he didn't like her background. But then Hee Joo comes and says she need to protect the kidnapper so I'm thinking oh maybe it's the orphanage lady that plotted all of that because they needed desperately some money. What do you guys think ?

**I had a suspicion that Joong Won's father orchestrated the kidnap in order for his son to hate Hee Joo. It's odd that the father keeps asking him if he really didn't see the suspect as if he knew he surely would have seen her. It is also odd that Hee Joo purposefully shown herself on Joong Won if she had the intention of kidnapping him. Unfortunately, she died. I doubt the necklace will be found because, I think the ransom wasn't given at all. And the reason why she can't say it to Taeyang is because she knew he would be hurt if she told him who the real mastermind is. Kang Woo was planted as a spy because the father knew Joong Won had seen her and had been wondering why he didn't tell him, perhaps he would like to know the reason, or Hee Joo (I've seen a picture of her with a foreigner) had a dangerous background that could endanger Joong Won's safety. Joong Won believes on Hee Joo, that's why he wanted to find the necklace.**
