When I first started watching the show, I hadn't even read the synopsis, since they are mostly full of nonsense here, but I was ready for her to end up with CX even if I didn't like it and I thought Jing was a better option because he was the first male lead and I was enjoying the story so I would just keep Jing in my heart for myself. ? But then I was told Jing was endgame and I was so happy. ?

If we can have dramas of the Emperor / noblemen having so many concubines, we surely can have a drama of a princess having 4 husbands? Fair right? I expected CX to be end game as well as it is always the normal. I am glad fox boy got the girl ?. I knew nothing about the story when I started watching. ? won me over when he put his hand to prevent the melting wax to burn her.

For me though, it is fine to do some changing to the story as long as it makes for core of the story. But better not follow some fans opinions which will kill off the story..!

It baffles me how they can say the opposite. I am not going to take away that yes, she was sad and she mourned XL, but when Jing died... I couldn't stop crying and it wasn't because he died, it was because of her reaction immediately after she found it out and the years that passed. She didn't even want to live.
