Did everyone not find it odd that the inspector and his colleague sought out Bun and acted as the formal welcome committee? And that he would show him really exciting places in town? He was sizing up the new guy to see if he could bring him on board. He ordered those shots to get Bun overly-refreshed for a reason! He’s not a good guy.
Then the man in black who drugged Bun had to have been that gang leader because of his height and his riding off on a motorcycle.
The synopsis says a prosecutor will go missing....could that be Tan?
tbh i think it has something to do with tan but not only him it includes some one higher or bigger i think maybe tan's working with pued but not only involving jane's death but something a lot bigger probably something regarding the needle marks on the girls bodies , also nam's whole is story a bit suspicious those people picking her up and the huge amount of money she had i'm also suspecting that nam will die since she had the same needle marks as both jane and the girl on ep 1 . i'm suspecting tan the most because 1 he didn't look like he was with jane in an actual relationship otherwise he would at least look a bit sad ; whatever he and jane had wasn't that real they might have only known each other from working together or something but he was not her boyfriend 2 i think that he's getting closer to bun so he can get him to stop suspecting him or to stop investigating in jane's entire case or lead him to the wrong side but however he is still a huge suspect too ; we obviously saw him with the masked man on the teaser of ep 4 so i'm guessing he is working with him and when he suddenly came in and punched that guy i think he did it to make bun maybe trust him 3 we saw him chasing bun on the trailer of the series i think when he pointed the gun at him was maybe because bun had found out what's happening and that maybe he is the killer therefore tan had to kill him so he won't expose the whole thing but also on jane's side i think she was also involved with the girl's death since we know she dated pued , he might be the one doing that to the girls probably paying them to mayyyybeee sleep with men and jane was the one maybe telling them about those people that's why she felt 'responsibility' towards them so i'm guessing it might be pued who killed her since maybe he was scared she would let some thing out
aevirg:After watching episode three last night, I realized that everyone's suspicions are spot on. This is some prostitution/drug ring related issue and I feel like everyone in the town knows about it except Dr. Bun (aka the new doc). I also agree with @AnniaD (though I can't quote the post because it's too long) in that Pued might have wanted to protect Jane. I was very suspicious of him at the beginning but last episode he looked super innocent and even a little scared so I don't think it's him. I also don't think Sorawit is related anymore and have shifted my suspicions to the other young guy that appears next to him in the intro. The inspector (Sarawat) was additionally sketchy this week so I still don't trust him.
honestly i think pued looked that scared of his brother or maybe the higher position he's working under maybe his brother a like the boss or something therefore maybe everyone is working under someone who's obviously very powerful ,the only suspicion i have towards the inspector is that he might have got threatened not to go further in jane's case
@AnniaD I’m gonna quote you again through my own text because the post is too long.
<<Now, I don't believe that Tan ever had anything romantic with Jane as he doesn't seem to have shown any emotion or disturbance with her death, but I do believe there was a purpose for him to be so close to her, I just can't think of what exactly.
I'm also very curious to why Tan punched Pued at the birthday party. Why was he so mad at Pued?>>
As I read your post, I started to question that as well. Why did Pued drag Jane like that and why did Tan punch him? I don’t doubt for a second that Pued was trying to protect Jane and trying to convince her into not snitching on the mafia. However, considering how indifferent Tan has been in regards to Jane, why did he care about her enough that night to even punch a guy on the face? What did Pued say that made him react like that?

The prosecutor that went missing was Pued but I really don’t think he’ll be gone for long. I think Tan is a teacher.
As for the inspector and the other guy... they are super suspicious. I think their welcoming greeting was more so to make the town seem happier and less dangerous than what it actually is. I’m sure they know something sketchy is going on and have decided to comply and turn their backs to it.
I think we are not going to have a killer like in the book. But an organization. We see in the first episode for the hospital's president birthday the vip table! With members of the parlament, justice, police et ecc. I think there is a ring of prostitution or something like that.
They take young girls because is more simple to manipulate. For me the reaction of the students about the natty's death is really bizarre, like person were really sad. For me natty isolated herself before her death and she didn't talk anymore with nam and his other friend.
Now Nam is doing the same thing!
AnniaD:I also think it's a red herring. I think they have been trying to make us think it's Pued since early on on purpose, but that would be too obvious. Specially putting that scene in. The last 2 people seeing her alive were Pued and Tan but I think none of them are the killer. They want us to be discussing if it's Pued or Tan, but I think it's someone totally different and it's much bigger than her death and who actually physically killed her.
Well, what I am saying is that the fact that it is sooooooo obvious means that we automatically think, "well, it can't be that or him", but in the end it could still turn out to be him, because sometimes the most obvious things actually turn out to be right...... Hence the double bluff....
Otherwise, surely it cannot be Tan under any circumstances, however, suspicious the series will try to make him look. Tan has to be in love with Bun at the end and they have to be a couple (MaxTul is inalterable, irrevocable and immutable.....), I mean, after all, isn't that what we all want and why we are watching this whole damn thing in the first place ??????
The fact that it is actually a good programme is an added extra !! An extra Christmas gift, haha....
First of all ,I love the series very much. This series balancing murder mystery and bl concept very well. I admire MaxTul s' chemistry.
Talking about jane's murder I'm a little bit suspecting on her siter , Rung. She is involved in her murder mystery with someone else. At first when she entered in 2nd episode she said:who died. It sounds sceptical to me. And I wonder she was wearing same dress she wore the day before i think she was busy to do something to change her dress. Most important, when Dr.Bun told her about her sister didn't commit suicide, she gave a pretty awkward reaction, moreover Dr. Bun gets threatens after telling her the truth about jane'murder . And I think she has something with people of high authorities. Initially, I thought Pued was with him, but after that" 20 minutes before jane's murder" scene in the starting of the 3 episode convinced me that he is not worty to be a suspect. Because it can't be too obvious . And Rung is the only one who can't be suspected by anyone in the series and viewers as well ,I think.
About Sorawit , I'm unsure that he has a crush on Dr.Bun or he has a another motive to meet Dr.Bun again and again?
And i saw a ring and watch, person wearing who came to pick up Nam and I saw the same ring wearing Pued 's brother while meeting with Bun although it's unclear due to the clearity of video. Two deaths and Nam are connected for sure somehow.Nam is going to the next victim.
In the end it's just my way of view the whole scene . It might be true or not. Bye
.
@Amarinder singh Sandhu now you got me thinking about the possibility of the sister being involved or at least knowing more than she lets out. She would be the perfect plot twist suspect as her involvement doesn't seem obvious at all. I still think the main culprits are a mafia organization that is composed of many people, some of them infiltrated in the police and high ranks of the society in that city. But the sister could have had a more direct role. Someone of the characters we have been seen must have had a direct hand in the murder(s), even if they are connected to the mafia.
Also, someone known to the victim would be easier to dominate her without much resistance and probably someone close who knows where the keys were. If I remember correctly they didn't find human skin underneath Janes's nails, which would then be "easy" to do a DNA test. This means that probably Jane didn't resist as she knew the murderer. Even though they drugged her and that might have made her not resist, when the murderer first entered the room she'd have probably tried to resist and there would be evidence of it in her body if she didn't know the murderer.
This are some of my new thoughts after watching episode 4, so I'll put the spoiler mark in case y'all haven't watched and don't want to be spoiled.
- So, even though not explicitly revealed it seems that the kid Tat was the one that attacked Bun. Was he also the one that drugged Bun at the hospital? I went to watch that small last scene on episode 3 and it really looked like Tat and is corroborated by his attitude with Bun at the hospital. So was he working with Tan? And why? To scare Bun to protect him because Tan knows he's in great danger if Bun keeps on insisting that it was murder? Tan acts very weird to me with all his actions and reactions related to Jane's murder. He sometimes looks like he doesn't care about her death, other times acts as if he's hiding stuff, other times acts as if he doesn't want the police to rule it homicide, other times seems to want Bun to keep fighting for justice for Jane... I don't get it.
- Tan owns the club Mist and seems to be working with/for Pued's brother. I thought Pued's brother would be the ring leader of the mafia that is drugging the girls and prostituting them, but if that was so why does he want to get Pued back safely if Pued could be threatening his mafia business? I'm still very intrigued about Pued and his brother's role in all this.
- In the end of the episode we see that Pued is alive. Is he in hidding to protect himself because the mafia is after him for trying to find out more/avenge Jane? Apparently Tan seems to have helped hide Pued?
- So Jane gave a sim card to the journalist. This corroborates our theories that Jane knew about the mafia and was trying to help the girl who died and that she seemed to have passed some information to the journalist. Maybe she wanted to expose the mafia.
- The hot inspector, is he trying to conceal the murder because he was bribed by the mafia too or just pressure from his superior?
- I don't get Bun and Tan's relationship at all. We know that Tan probably didn't kill Jane (for plot reasons), but why isn't Bun asking more questions to Tan and trusting him so much just because he saved him that time? Doesn't he find it weird that Tan and Jane seemed to be so close and even dating but now Tan said they weren't that close and were just colleagues? Doesn't he find Tan's cold reactions to Jane's deaths weird?
- Another thing I don't get, how does Bun know Tan was trying to find out where Pued is? Did they cut a scene? Because it seemed totally out of nowhere that Bun was asking if he had any developments on finding Pued. Shouldn't the police be investigating Pued's disappearance instead? Why is everyone so relaxed and indifferent to Pued's disappearance? (except for his brother). So why does Bun think Tan would be trying to actively find Pued if for him Tan is just a teacher (who we know now manages a nightclub too but he only got to know recently) instead of the police? Did they cut some scene or did I miss something? Sometimes Bun doesn't seem to ask much to Tan and just brush all the inconsistencies off and trust him or act as if he knows what Tan is up to when supposeddly he doesn't.
- Bun put himself in big risk with the interview to the journalist. Even if voice distorted the journalist has video of him, plus of course it's obvious it was him who was interviewed as he said specific information that only the police and himself would have access.
Anyways I'm anxious for next episode and curious to see what the police will do.
For me Bun don't trust Tan at all. We think that Bun is under the influence of tan, because they are flirting but for me. Bun only accepts tan's invitation because he want investigate on him, this make more sense because he want to know personal stuff about Tan.
And for pued's disappearance, in the episode 3 Bun is convinced that tan is the responsable, and for this he was following him (perhaps he put a bug or something on his phone or in the house). The police nd the parlament is corrupt I'm absolutely confident about that.
For the boy, perhaps Bun know that he is the aggressor but he don't want to be discovered?
I haven't read the novel and only just started watching the series today, but my suspicion went toward Tan right away. I am not spoiling anything as I have no idea on what's going on in the novel, I just have a feeling that if Tan isn't the culprit, he knows him. But the strongest part of me thinks he is the murderer. The show would be even more interesting if it does truly evolve around a sweet-talking murderer and a wary forensic doctor (medical examiner).

Without having read the novel and only having watched 3 episodes so far, I get the impression that Tan is undercover trying to dismantel a big drug/human trafficking ring. The reason I say so is because of the way he "behaves". having personal experience with people who work under cover, his mannerisms remind me of those aquaintances of mine.
like the scene when he was at the hospital picking up Bun, and he was walking behind him...notice how he looked around "watching for suspicious people" it's the same way people who work as body guards behave.

I was thinking the same thing! I think his teacher/pub manager careers are only disguises so that he can get close enough to investigate. At the end of the day, the fact that Pued and Tan are working together leads me to think that they are both innocent and are trying to solve the cases in a lowkey manner.
