Unable to access mdl

I am living in Japan and for the past few days, I have been unable to access MDL.  So, luckily I am able to to connect to a US VPN and thus am able to let you know what's happening.  My question is, will this be how it works from now on where the site will be unavailable to Asian/European members due to server issues?

I'm having the same issue right now. At first I thought MDL was down but a few days passed and nothing changed. Decided to check with TOR today and it's working after all. It looks like MDL host don't like my ISP anymore.
Now, how to fix this?
