The date when the filming got completed is not precise. 17 April is a day when Neo's studio posted the photos on weibo. Neo returned to Beijing from Taiwan where they were filming on 16 April welcomed by fans with flowers at the airport. It can be assumed the photos were posted by the studio with a delay.

Neo joined the crew in Hengdian Studios on 16 March 2018. From Hengdian Studios they moved to the Hainan Island a month later to  continue filming by the seaside. The official "opening" ceremony was held in Sanya at the entrance gate of the Nanshan Temple on 17 April.

Neo confirmed on 21 July that he finished his part for the drama, and on 23 July the filming got completed according to the director's  post on weibo (138 days of filming). The drama was mainly filmed in Hengdian Studios, in the region of Hainan Island, and for a few days around 12 July in Ruili (on the border with Myanmar).

According to the director's post on weibo the filming took 119 days. That means the filming started around Jan 7. Neo joined the crew a month later in February. Before joing the filming group he had visited the Taoist temple to study, and had already learnt Tai chi to be well prepared for the role.

According to other sources, reuters/paparazzi caught the car that drove Neo at the filming site around 16 & 17 Sept.
It is said the filming of Neo's part in the drama took 2-3 days.
