Hello! I hope you are still enjoying this series. I find it really refreshing and appreciate also how quickly…
Yes, I’m enjoying this series. It’s very light and cute to watch. I’ll add Minato’s Laundromat to my watch list.

Thank you. My review of Payback is a bit long, but I hope you enjoy reading it.

The perks of having low standard I guess lol
Treat people the way you want to be treated. How would you feel if someone commented on a drama you loved and told you that you had low standards? Everyone has different tastes and opinions, and that's perfectly fine. Respect goes both ways.

How this is huge for KBLS?? popularity ≠ goodSemantic error is overrated. so this oneNo need for 16 full episodes.…
If both The Prosecutor's Proposal and Semantic Error are overrated for you, and you mentioned that you've seen better KBLs, could you share which ones they are? I had a look through your watch list but couldn't find any. I'm genuinely interested to know which KBLs you think are better.

Isn't The Governor's Still Sick supposed to start in the autumn? I love that book, I hope they do it justice.https://mydramalist.com/811014-du-zhu-you-bingSomeone…
Omg, I’m so excited! Thank you, I’ve added it to my list. 🥰

When you say autumn, are you referring to the Northern Hemisphere or Southern Hemisphere?

I’m from Australia, so our next autumn is in 2027, from March to May. I can’t wait that long! 😂

Everything is masterpiece over here.. the most used word in the bl fandoms.it didn’t raise the bar for KBLS.…
Firstly, just because you disagree with my opinion doesn’t mean you need to say my standards are low. We simply have different tastes in dramas, and you don’t have to agree with me.

I’ve watched over 500 BLs, so when I say this drama raised the bar for Korean BLs, I’m speaking from my experience with the genre. My point is that it’s doing something different by being the first Korean BL to properly explore a crime thriller genre, rather than following the usual romance focused formula.

You can absolutely disagree with me and think there are better Korean BLs. That’s completely fine. But saying my standards are low just because I enjoyed something you didn’t is unnecessary.

And objectively, the numbers don’t lie either. It’s currently rated 8.6 among the highest rated Korean BLs on MDL, and it’s also reportedly one of the highest viewed shows globally on iQIYI right now. That doesn’t automatically make it a masterpiece, but it does show that a lot of viewers are enjoying it and that it’s making an impact.

Everyone has different standards and preferences. You’ve watched better Korean BLs, and that’s your opinion. I’ve watched a lot of BLs and consider this one of the dramas that has raised the bar in terms of genre and production for Korean BLs. Both opinions can exist without one of us having “low standards.” 😊

FYI, triple episodes on the final week

Episode 12 and 13 : 12th August
Episode 14, 15 and 16 : 19th August

After Deep in Finale ended last week, Bittersweet Love, Blue Lips, and A Winter Sun will all wrap up in the next two weeks. That means we'll have no more Chinese BLs to look forward to.

China, we're waiting for you. Please release more BLs!

Thank you.

They wanted 300,000, but Teng Mo offered 100,000. But that’s not the point. The point is that Shi Xian didn’t do it.

It’s like going to jail for a crime you didn’t commit. Just because you can reduce the sentence from three years to one year doesn’t make it okay to accept it when you’re innocent.

How is Teng Mo an ex lawyer? 😂 I completely agree with Shi Xian. Don’t pay them and just go to the police!

This scammer plot is unnecessary. There are already enough conflicts to resolve.
I was confused and thought those scammers were debt collectors, but then they said Shi Xian hit an old lady, their grandma. I honestly can’t remember this happening. Which episode was this?

You’re welcome! I was going to reply with just a few words, but I was bored and this page is so quiet. Hardly anyone is discussing the show, so I wanted to hype it up a little. This show is seriously so underrated!

How about the other ongoing BLs? I'm kind of feeling a BL drought at the moment. There are a lot of Japanese BLs airing, but they're just too short, only about 15–25 minutes per episode.

Please, could someone remind me why he had to buy the pills for his sister? And what is the illness that his sister…
At the 13 minute mark of Episode 9, Teng Mo is speaking to his blind date, and she starts to suspect that there is someone else he likes because he clearly isn’t focused on their date. She asks him who this person is, and Teng Mo simply says that he is a very pure person.

She continues questioning him, and Teng Mo then says that he buys Viagra from his shop. 😂 She immediately starts putting the pieces together and suspects that those pills may actually be used to treat patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.

She then explained that Vandetanib is a life saving drug used to treat certain serious conditions, and patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension can experience increased pulmonary vascular resistance, which reduces oxygen levels in the blood. Over time, their lips and skin can turn blue or purple due to the lack of oxygen, which is why the condition is sometimes referred to as blue lip disease.

FYI, this is a real disease and it’s not something made up for the drama. I actually found this storyline really interesting because they incorporated a genuine medical condition into the plot.

I love how she is slowly figuring everything out while Teng Mo is giving her these completely unexpected answers. 😂

Title Blue Lips Spoiler
Wow, ShiXian and his sister have suffered so much. My heart genuinely broke watching their story unfold. 😭💔

They lost both of their parents and were left with nothing but each other. His sister had to grow up far too quickly, becoming the one responsible for raising and protecting her younger brother. Even when she became seriously ill, she kept it hidden from her employer because she was terrified of losing her job. She kept forcing herself to work, putting her own health aside because her brother depended on her.

But eventually, her body could no longer hold on. She ended up in the hospital, needing expensive treatment and surgery. And just when you think things couldn’t possibly get any worse, Shi Xian had to drop out of school and start working at bars, drinking with customers just to make enough money to pay for his sister’s medical bills. 😭

They have already lost their parents, their home, their sense of security and now even their chance at a normal life. All they have left is each other. That’s what makes their situation so heartbreaking. You can feel how desperately they are trying to hold on, even when life keeps taking everything away from them.

Thankfully, even in the darkest moments, there is always a little light at the end of the tunnel. Teng Mo stepped into their lives when they needed someone the most. He didn’t just use his financial resources to help pay for her treatment, he also gave them emotional support and made them feel like they weren’t alone anymore.

Sometimes, when you have nothing left, having someone reach out and say, “I’m here for you,” can mean more than money ever could. After everything these two siblings have been through, I just want to see them finally get some happiness. They deserve so much better. 😭❤️

To be honest, I don't think Rio and Sota like each other at all. If feels more like societal expectations with…
It has the Gay Romance and LGBTQ tags, so normally if there’s no actual romance, it would have the Bromance, Friendship tag instead.

Let’s see how it goes, but I agree with you. So far, I’m definitely getting more of a brotherly love or best friend vibe between them.
