he looks like a mix of so many other actors. Itās why he looks so familiar.
Itās the Mandela effect. Whenever we all have collective deja vu itās because weāve been Men In Blackād or weāre living the same timeline again.
He looks familiar to me too like Iāve seen his exact face before. The other actors you guys suggested share similarities but I feel like Iāve seen Babeās EXACT FACE BEFORE.
Who knows Deathās Game will be in the top 2024, cos I treat it as started in 2023 and ended in 2024, lol.
I hope part 2 is at least. I added it here because theyāve split part one and part 2 into two different MDL listings (as in you can rate each part separately).
What country did you watch the most in 2023? South Korea
What genre(s) do you usually watch? Romance (k-dramas have got me in a chokehold š )
What is your top drama listed in this article? Moving
What is your top drama NOT listed in this article? Deathās Game (especially part 1 which were the first 4 episodes released in 2023), Castaway Diva, The Glory Pt 2 and Divorce Attorney Shin
How was your drama journey in 2023? A mixed bag. The good ones were really good (found some real gems) but unfortunately the majority were sloppily executed.
What is your wish or plan in dramaland in 2024? As others have said, I wish for better consistently good dramas. Iād also like to see some newer themes and mixing of genres. Weāve started to see this a bit in the last two years and I really hope it catches on.
The late 2010s was the semi decade for Korean cinema. These thought provoking and highly emotive movies came out of nowhere and dominated with its impact. Although I am not Asian I love to see when cultural phenomenons challenge the concept that non-white stories are not relatable. After all, we are all humans and we all have stories with similar themes.
After months of sitting in my PTW list I finally watched it and I loved every second š it broke me but I loved…
Same. I avoided it for years because I was like, ānot another zombie movieā but itās so much more than that. Like you said, itās the kind of film that you donāt mind it ripping your heart out. You donāt regret watching it for a second even though you are left bawling on the floor. š
Say what you want about this series but mama Nam going off on the dad will never not be iconic. How are you gonna tell a man he has a limp d*ck. bahahaha š¤£šš ššš Is that a record for the most series of cuss words in a bl? I think it might be tehehe š¤
BiliBili is the site Iām suggesting. Iām just letting you know I had to fish around for the good subs because they werenāt all in one place on the site. They were from multiple different posters.
I scraped through BiliBili to find each episode with good subs. In the end I had to wade through a lot of videos by a lot of different people to find the good ones. I still donāt understand why the subs are so bad and this is a production with a lot of big names.
Plz drop the site where you've watched cuz I really wanna see it yet kisskh's subs are hella weird and incoherent…
I had to go digging through BiliBili and found good subs for each individual episode from different posters. I canāt provide all the links off the top of my head without slogging through my browsing history but I did save the link for episode 1. https://www.bilibili.tv/en/video/4789267706151424
When I first watched this in 2021, there was a buzz about a Season 2 or a continuation of some sort but after two and a half years Iām still holding out hope. Although itās less and less likely. š„²
Oh, my bad. The site I watch stuff on posted the episode link in preparation for it being released today but the episode itself was not available yet. As others have said it will be available today (Jan 5th).
Oooookayā¦ā¦so Da-Eun IS psycho PSYCHO. Then all bets are off.
I keep going back and forth about what her true motivation is. Is she obsessed with Ye-Ji because she is jealous of her and wants to ruin her or is she obsessed with Soo-bin because she wants him but he doesnāt want her so sheās trying to force him? Or is this her dark twisted way of making friends by manipulating them, controlling them through money and forcing them through blackmail? What does she want?? Is it chaos? š
In terms of the timeline, we know that Soo-bin and the others were friendly(ish) towards her at the start of the school year but they didnāt know her like that or even talked to her much. She was always just hanging around. Then we saw her first approach Soo-bin after that phone call where itās revealed heās having money troubles. He turns her down but ends up working at the same place as her. The place is a front for something shady and Soo-bin is forced to be a part of it to earn money it seems. Da-Eun takes a compromising picture of Soo-bin and uses it to blackmail him into hanging out with her and forcing him to act like they are together.
Three observations: Da-Eun has been messing with Ye-Ji since day 1 which is why Iām starting to believe the root of her obsession is Ye-Ji and not Soo-bin. That sheās only going after Soo-bin to āhave something Ye-Ji canāt haveā.
I wonder if Da-Eun was the reason Sae-Na was bullied before Sae-Na became friends with Ye-Ji. I bet Da-Eun started some rumours about her.
It seems like anyone is collateral damage for Da-Eun in her pursuit. Even her father it seems, because why would you blackmail someone with something that would be a problem for your father also. This is why I say she is psycho PSYCHO. There is nothing off limits. Nothing she wonāt do to get what she wants.
