The reason why he's so hesitant to accept or even consider her offer to treat his legs is because he's tried so many treatments already, and always with a disappointing result. 🥺 And when he asked if the reason was because she doesn't want to live with a cripple and that she should just leave if so? Aww, it's his defense mechanism again to avoid disappointment and pain. He would be so unhappy if she left... The way he looks at her and searches for her company now, even that little "tantrum" with the accusation of leaving the home unattended for days—he's so in love! 🤗🥰I am quite sure she won't stop offering him help, because that's something she promised his brother—his last wish. It is very likely she even chose to learn all the healing methods for legs just so she could help him. ☝️🥹And now I wonder how all of this would have happened if she had married Prince Li? How would she be able to help Prince Ding with his leg injury? Could it be possible that some of this was taken into consideration when her betrothal was swapped? 🤔🤷♀️The final scenes of the episode were... uff. 🤭😳⚡

I am getting more anxious with every shot of the comet, and they keep showing it again and again... my nerves... 🥺😨Her time-travel/coma state in Joseon and everything she experienced there have really messed with her head. 😔 She accepted her fate to return to her already dying body in Joseon, but I don't want to believe it's the only possible ending for her. Nah, I am not alright with that. I want her and Segye to be happy. They are too adorable to not be the endgame! 🥺 And, actually, what if there's a chance to fight back? What if there is a possibility that the prophecy has been translated wrongly, as often happens? 🤔🤷♀️At least her crying at the end gives hope that maybe she changed her mind suddenly and now might want to fight for them—to be with Segye and not give up that easily. 🥹🙏

OMG, what are they doing to me? It's only episode 3 and I am already in tears. 😭At first, Haixia used himself as a human shield to protect Hailou and as a result lost his ability to walk and scarred his body terribly. Ofc, Hailou wouldn't let his brother die and used every last bit of strength to get them to shore... 😫The Southern Archives went into hiding and the Master was attacked. She has some nice combat skills, I must say! 😏During the 3-year time skip, the Zhang brothers still hadn't been able to communicate with the Archives, nor received any payment, and have been living as street vendors, humbly and poorly... 😤🥺And the final part where Zhang Ruipu tortures Haixia by breaking his bones just to get some answers from Hailou... How can Haixia ever recover after all that has been done to his body in this episode? I am completely heartbroken for them. 😰🥺💔The little joy, I guess, was the girl Hailou found and gave her their family name—now she's Zhang Haijiao. Even though his intention was just to get someone to keep company with Haixia... But I kind of like her becoming part of their family. Like a little sister! 🥹❤️ 🤗

Lol, their Master has a special ability to slow ageing.... I wonder how old she actually is. 🤔I do love how Haixia always makes a plan, but then Hailou executes it with some extra something on top, and then they need to deal with the chaos it has created. 🤭😅Their dynamics are just amazing, I can't stop enjoying them—always naughty and mischievous Mr. Salty and composed and analytical Mr. Shrimpy. 😂 Their snarky comments are so fun to listen to.P.S. Hailou making Haixia sniff the cigarette like he was a dog... OMG! 😅 To be fair, I am not sure if I'd enjoy an ability to smell everything.... some smells are better left unsensed. 🤢

Chu Tang's unruly hand... 🤭 Loved it! She and Xiaoman did so well with Xiao Xun. 😂❤️Did I sense A'Jiu being a teeny-tiny bit jealous of Yanfang? 🤨 And I wonder, if whatever defense speech for Yanfang A'Yu gave, was it because it was planned like that, or was it because of Yanfang's growing influence over him? 🤔 If it's the latter, I might start getting even more worried.

A'Li is a blessing to her husband's family and now that she has helped them to overcome the issues that held them back, they can become a blessing to her. And, oh, how she needs that! 🥺 The trauma she has from her time up in the mountain is way deeper than what has been shown so far, and I believe it's just the tip of the iceberg we are seeing. 😟At least we could already see how important A'Li and Mo Xiuyao have become to each other—he's the one she seeks safety and comfort from, and he ensures she gets that safety and peace. 😌🥹P.S. I can't wait for Uncle Wenshen to live with them! 🤗

Zhao should be playing poker. The way she strategises, gambles and bluffs leaves everyone guessing her moves, counter-moves, words and gazes. 😂 At least no matter what, A'Jiu is ready to die by her side if any of her plans fail. 🥹And finally, we got an episode where she wasn't crying. Right? I think this one was the first! 🤔🙏I quite enjoyed how A'Zhao's preventive actions crippled some of Yanfang's plans. 😏 However, I don't like his growing influence over A'Yu's decisions, and I don't like that he is already using him for his schemes. 😔

I wonder how close the Empress Dowager actually was to Ye Li's mother? In flashbacks, they looked super-close. 🤨Prince Li asking questions of his wife about her childhood just so he could hear about Ye Li's childhood is so messed up... He clearly has feelings for her. Also, he doesn't look like the warrior type. I really want to know the reason why they changed the betrothal! 🙋I love how Ye Li continues to be her little crazy self, like... khem... sneaking out in the middle of the night to chop down someone's tree? The reason was wonderfully sweet, yet the execution was hilarious. 😂 And I definitely adore how she defended Wuyou. Those kids were terrible—they even hit Ye Li with a bamboo stick? Really? Who raised them? 🙄

Even if Yanfang is a villain and he has his own plans, I am kind of grateful that he helped A'Yu make a decision regarding Xiao Xun. I think it was the best decision they could have made, because I don't think Xiao Xun would be defending the city against the Northern forces if the Emperor had decided something else. So, strangely enough, thank you, Yanfang! Now that the war with the Northern Desert has finally been won, I am eagerly waiting for A'Jiu and Zhao to return to the capital. It's time for them to deal with all the schemers and keep A'Yu away from Yanfang's influence. To be fair, I would love to see some more scenes of Chu Tang and Deng Yi... they have barely shown them to us at all.

I loved seeing Mo Xiuyao's POV on everything! Even the reason why he wasn't present at his own wedding! It gives a lot of insight into their relationship. He actually has always held her quite dear. All his distancing is just an act, and he quite enjoys her cheerful presence in his life. However, his past is pressing him down, and that's why he's so grumpy all the time. He clings to it, and that's his drive to investigate and try to right those wrongs that have been done to his family. Oh, I can't wait for them to officially become allies, not just with her helping him in secret... Her trick with the inflammable shirt was crazy, and I loved it... You won't be missed, Lu Changfu!I bet her words, "Mo Xiuyao, don't let your life become nothing but a show in their eyes", will mark that new chapter I am waiting for them to finally start!

I was very glad to see Lord Lv go. Smart, smart Ye Li with her little manipulations got rid of him so quickly! And what an ironic death for Lord Lv—to be buried alive, have a tree planted on top of his grave, and even be told to make sure the tree is more lush than the one he cut... But I fear Marquis Muyang—he seems way worse than Lord Lv ever was. Super-tiny progress for Ye Li with Mo Xiuyao, but it's there... the barely noticeable movement at the corner of his lip upon hearing she wouldn't let anyone bully him was the first crack in his wall... and a reason for him to become a little bit curious about her. Wonderful, wonderful! P.S. Mo Xiuyao's "spy" brought a little comedy to this so far overall serious drama... I am looking forward to his entertaining scenes!

I just can't tolerate what they are doing to Mo Xiuyao! I wouldn't expect to hate a character so soon, but I do hate Lord Lv! Immensely. However, I quite enjoyed A'Li's visit to her Uncle Wenshen, and absolutely savoured her and Mo Xiuyao's interactions (especially the bath/pond scene and the study scene). I practically live for those interactions and want to see how she, step by step, will get through his thick walls. At the moment, they look like a little annoying fly taunting a big grumpy horse on a hot summer day, and I love it!

My math here is "Mo Xiuyao + Ye Li = Mo Li"... am I correct about the title? I like this arranged marriage trope, especially since both of them are the least loved children of their parents, and everyone tries to push them down and humiliate them in a way. I really don't like what is being done to Mo Xiuyao, and I loved seeing Ye Li putting that astronomical guy in his place. And I could sense from a kilometre away that the dowry had been moved from the chests and replaced with some cheap stuff... oh, those greedy second wives! They are always like this. My thought is that Mo Xiuyao is pushing Ye Li away right from the start because he has no desire for a pity wife given by his relatives. Nor does he want to be pitied by her because of his disability. Keeping the distance is the best shield he can have. I am looking forward to seeing how their relationship grows, how they get closer, and how they help each other with whatever needs to be done to make everyone pay for what they have done to them.

What an amazing journey this was! This drama had all this warmth, friendship, and love; all the relationships felt wholesome and full of understanding. There were no schemes, no big dramatic moments… just a true comfort for one’s heart. I absolutely loved the music and have already added some of the songs to my Spotify. I loved the food, too, and it genuinely leaves me wondering if I could ever try to cook one of those delicious-looking dishes myself! Everything altogether created such a wonderful atmosphere, and now I know exactly which world I am most likely gonna revisit if I am ever feeling down.P.S. I know now how Sheng felt—I totally fell in love with Tan Jian Ci's voice and him as an actor as well. His performance here was amazing!
