Good point about it maybe being better suited as a movie! I agree. The Khai and Third storyline got so repetitive to me that the series started to stall. I think tightening up in the form of a movie—which already has time constraints—would have been a better medium for this story.

Haha yes! He was going to keep it secret but then there was a flashback sequence and he started feeling guilty lol. Guess the writers wanted to tidy it up so the next big scandal could break!

If you haven’t continued it yet, ep 6 ended with WDH admitting on tv that Da Jung was pregnant and he was going to support her decision, which is to keep the baby. I suppose that could still change, bc Da Jung still seems scared and like she doesn’t know if it’s the right decision, but I have a feeling she’ll probably keep it. It also ended with a twist about the natural father. ^^

Agree with Ugly Duckling. I haven’t read the book so I can’t compare, but the show’s not terribly angsty (IMO) so I think it’ll be okay. ^^

I don’t know how super similar you’ll find this, but as I’m watching it does remind me a little bit of Men With Sword. Honestly it could just be because of the historical setting and BL undertones, because MWS doesn’t have nearly as much fantasy as The Untamed, but that is a show that has come to mind haha
