Oh no I didn’t know that! Unfortunately I’m not sure. The reason I can think of is that maybe JayBL got busy with other stuff and had to put the translation on hold, or maybe Mame wanted to pause it. I’m really not sure though. :(
Ahhhh I’ve gotten lazy and have only watched 3 episodes I think but this reminds me I need to pick it up again!! So many good things about it, but I really love the scenery and cinematography.
So I've been seeing clips of Mew and Gulf floating around on Instagram and man their chemistry looks so good! Makes me even more excited and eager to see them in this!!

Ahhh yes!! I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt like this! I just feel like the disappointment was even bigger because this show seemed so hyped up and everyone was super excited for it, but then they didn’t quite deliver.
Anyone else feel like the writers just did not care this season and only made this because people wanted SS2 and they (the writers/director) wanted to give some finality to the series? Like others have said, it just felt rushed, choppy, and thrown together. It had its moments, but overall didn’t deliver the way it should have. That said, I’m glad it was only 8 episodes of this mess, but maybe with more they could have handled things a bit better? Ehh, whatever, it’s done now lol

That’s what I’m thinking too! I can’t tell if the publisher previously gave permission but revoked it or maybe wants to wait until after the series airs? Jay seems to be really good about only doing licensed translations, so I have to believe (or hope) that permission was given at some point lol
