I finally finished watching the last episode/15, and I have to say it was fast paced and full of ups and downs moments. Even though it has a great ending, I kept thinking the whole time while watching the episode that the editing and transition of different scenes are not smooth, compared to their previous episodes. Somehow I felt the final episode has many important events and it was rushed to cramp everything into the final episode.
I was even slightly confused at times; for example: (1) When Thien returned to Myanmar to pray for Muey - the scene was so sudden/abrupt - from his 3 friends talking about Thien going to a temple, and then Thien was running along a temple building - I said Huh? when did he fly there?; (2) When Thien decided to give his one of kidneys to Muey, we see him from arguing with Muey, and then telling his brother about his decision (what decision?), then he is at the hospital being wheeled into the operation room and Muey is lying next to him there. And they almost died because I see nurses sitting on their bodies doing CPR. Huh?? what really happened? no reveals from the drama.; (3) After the kidney transplant, Muey woke up to Thien's long recorded message on her phone - he told her that he has always loved her since school time because she made his heart beat faster the moment he saw her; he was also happy that he was her mentor. I said Huh?? when did all these happen? Didn't he always find her annoying and only considered her as a sister? Did he forget he has told her numerous times that he didn't love her? What kind of new insight revelation is this? Scratching my head for few minutes.
Here a few annoying events in the drama for me; (1) The unnecessary side story of Kang and KaoFang's love story - it's unbelievable that KaoFang (the bitch of the company) would quit her accounting job just because Kang is ignoring her since returning from Myanmar (what a lame reason to quit a job) - and later, Kang and KaoFang became a couple after love confession. I said Huh? I thought KaoFang was straight because she was always pursuing Thien in the past. When did she become gay/lesbian? Huh?? ; (2) Under-development of Kob's character - he was supposed to be Thien's rival for Muey's affection but in the end, he ended looking like a wimp and a loser - I feel bad for him; even Thien wanted to beat him up when Kob turned up for Muey's wedding...LOL; (3) Found out that P'Ched is a secret cross-dresser/drag queen - is this information necessary for this drama? He is supposed to be a high-ranking officer in the company and now I cannot un-see this scene...LOL
Anyway, overall, I enjoyed this Thai lakorn very much and kudos to all the actors, director, writers and whole filming crew for making this wonderful drama. Best of all, I love the background scenes of the Bagan temple complex in Myanmar, complete with sunset and hot-air balloons; this make me want to visit Myanmar now. :D

I actually liked Cubic, but I agree Bomb's acting needs some improvement. Hehehe...

It seems that they will air 1 episode per week. That is too long to wait - OMG

I come here after someone recommended that this drama is similar to The Romance of Tiger and Rose drama. But after watching the first 3 - 4 episodes, I don't see the similarity at all. Plus I find the FL to be quite annoying and not cute at all. I wonder if I should continue watching. Plus, I don't understand why this drama is called "To Get Her"; shouldn't it be called "To Get Him"?
I think the Romance of Tiger and Rose drama has spoiled me due to its high raised standards for period costume rom-com. LOL.....

What does it mean by extra chapter? Will there be extra episodes above current 24? I want the story to extend more in the period world instead of the modern world. What happens in the ending after the clouds open and the sun rays shines down on them? I want to see more cute and adorable moments between Han-Shuo and Qian-Qian because I will miss their personal assistants too. I don't want the story in the modern world where they are not in love

PH is just blindly, hopelessly and deeply in love with her. He cannot help but just wants to rescue QQ from HS, because PH was afraid that HS will hurt and torture QQ for revenge for falsely accusing him of a crime and for exiling him away to the border. HS is after all the Prince from the other city ruled by men, and is capable of physically hurting QQ. Hence, PH is very motivated to rescue QQ.... I just love this drama!! hehehe... :-D

I was almost dying everyday just waiting for episodes 19 - 20 to be subbed..just kidding...LOL. After watching episode 18 last week, I cried so much seeing how hurt both the ML and FL were. Han Shuo really loves Qian-qian very much, and seeing his pain at being hurt by Qian-qian was just to much for my heart to bear. This really shows how good Ding YuXi's acting is - his facial expressions really gets to me

I am watching this drama now while waiting for the Fake Princess (a costume period rom-com drama) to be subbed. I came here after seeing Eleanor Lee in Fake Princess and I like her acting there - she's funny and cute; plus she has an interesting face with big eyes.

I agree Lin Lin is not a good friend to Nuan Nuan at all; even though she knew that Nuan Nuan has feelings for Han Che and vise-versa, Lin Lin still wants to get in between this couple and steal Han Che away. She is selfish, vain and self-centered, plus she is not even that beautiful. Therefore, she is ugly inside and outside.

I already dislike Pin ever since she did not tell the truth to her husband about the mix-up. She is selfish and self-centered because she kept insisting other people to accommodate her wishes/demands but yet, she does not take care of herself. I think she is stupid.

Or why don't they hire better graphics designer that can draw a more real looking digital cat!!

I come here after watching The Romance of Tiger and Rose drama, which was written by the same writer as this drama. I was very impressed by Tiger and Rose, that I wanted to watch another drama written by the same writer. Hopefully I will like this Unexpected drama too!

I think I could understand Muey's feelings in episode 13. She was probably fed-up with everything - with Thien and his family, with her deep feelings for him, with the way he treated her overall, and probably because she was unable to go overseas to study due to her unexpected pregnancy. When she asked for divorce while they were in Myanmar, she was probably feeling totally fed-up at that moment of time because Thien put her through the public humiliation of being declared an adulterer. He could have resolved the problem earlier by telling everyone that they were married, but Thien told her to keep their marriage a secret. And then later, he started to "date" her openly, making her sleep in his tent, thus spreading more vicious gossips in the company - but yet he didn't do anything to stop it. In the end, she had to face the company management because of petitions filed by colleagues regarding their "disgusting their love affair". Come-on!! How much can Muey take?
She has always been honest to Thien about her affections and feelings towards him; from her actions to save him from Yada and her sadistic husband; from her love declarations under the full moon, and when she declared she wanna pursue him nicely and flirted with him outrageously in Myanmar. Muey literally hung her heart on her sleeves!!
SOOO, when he finally found out that she saved his life from drowning and she almost lost her life in the process, he felt so guilty and ashamed that he just packed up and ran away without saying goodbye to her in person; Damn! that hurts! She felt he was just a COWARD. Just leaving a letter is different than telling someone in person - there is no real closure. (Trust me, I have been there!!) On top of that, Thien wrote that he will stop contacting her. This must have hurt her very much. This felt like the final rejection to her, no matter what kindly words were written by him.
THEREFORE, when he suddenly appear in her life again after 2-3 months, her heart and feelings are probably still sore. In addition, she is pregnant and her hormones must be raging too. SOOO, when he said that he will take care of her because she is pregnant, she is not pleased. She would like Thien to love her for herself, not because she is pregnant by him and he is obligated to stay with her. Anyway, based on the preview of episode 14, I can see that Muey is rejecting Thien and I am glad she could finally kick his ass. It's karma for Thien for all the times he mistreated and abused her. Hehehe..... :P

I did not like Intense Love because somehow I did not like the main female lead; perhaps because I watched it after this Tiger and Rose drama....LOL. I know the frustrated feeling. I wish I can understand Mandarin, and now I am really thinking of learning the language just to watch all the Chinese drama I wanted.... hahaha

I agree that Zhao Lu Si looks and acts better in this drama than all her previous dramas; in this Tiger and Rose Romance drama, I think her face is more fuller and she looks more normal (not skinny) as well as grown up; her acting is less childish and more natural & professional (in my opinion) - perhaps due to the better directing and writing. I also think her pairing with Ryan Ding as well as her onscreen chemistry with him is awesome. I love her sunny happy smiles in this drama. Ryan Ding is also great here than his previous drama, Intense Love. I hope there will be more dramas with them together again

I also agree with what you wrote. I can understand why the FL is not falling in love with the ML because she was more focused on trying to stay alive (since the ML was supposed to poison her as per her script), and trying to push the ML to her 2nd sister (2nd FL) as per her original script. She improvised a lot to push her plot forward, which makes her look silly but cute. I love it when she didn't realize that all her actions to keep the ML alive has made him to really like her and eventually fall in love with her. She is oblivious to the fact that her new behaviour (more kinder, sweeter, considerate than the original Qianqian as per in her original script) are making the 2 MLs crazy.. LOL... Anyways, I just love this drama. I laughed at every episodes and the main lead couple is so cute and adorable.

You should try watching the latest C-drama called The Romance of Tiger and Rose; absolutely adorable and hilarious every episode; I have never watched any rom-com C-drama that is addictive, entertaining and very funny every episode; highly recommended;
