That is so unfair :O thanks for the answer tho
Actually she deserved it. Waiting 2 years for that piece of s@ boyfriend and turn her back on Halu to go back to him, hm 3 years wating for Halu were nothing. First time i didnt want the main leads to end up together -considering im a happy ending freak!
Such great actress (rip...) and they wrote a completely stupid character for her in such a nice to watch drama in other aspects

Hmm?
As i said previously, i dont blame cultures/religions for every individual that doesnt want or need sex. On the contrary, i said that everyone considers sex the way it fits to his/her needs. Still the blame remains in certain religions and cultures for the rest of the population who thinks bodies are dirty and so as physical intimacy. My comment is placed here and about the certain drama which depicts something unrealistic (not that it has to be realistic, just sayin'). The unrealistic is to show 2 people as virgins to their 30's though when the finally get intimate they show a completely different attitude and you go like: wtf! They got enlightened or something.

On the contrary, the creators should be praised for casting actual teenagers for teenage roles and not trying…
Agree but actingwise the ML was so weak, and the poor writing and directing didnt help at all

Just rewatched it after almost 22 years…I still cried like the first time I watched this whenerver First Love…
I so agree with that: "no dramas have any responsibility....". If you ever read my comment, can you please suggest me some Jdramas from that era you mentioned? Mostly "shocking" ones. Just discovered Jdramaland and im kinda shocked in a good way with the narrative, the storytelling and some very sensitive elementes they dare to touch, digging deep to the darkest areas of human nature (thoug the quality and budget is often low) but still im charmed!

If love between LOVERS is one of the 5 ways, let it not be the virtuous one. Lovers are not saints. Let them be Lovers.

Ok let me ask something: what's wrong with his mother???
It creeps me out even when i slightly think about it! What was that thing she said in 5ep: "i (love you) more (than her)! Bad writing or something else? Anyone else creeping out ???

And...how wonderful her mom is??? I would elope with her mom easily! She is so adorable so kind!

Ugh I lost interest in this drama since when a few guys (if i remember correctly) was going to rape the FL, and…
He couldnt imagine such thing. He saw some of his colleagues asking her questions about a lesson. What did bother me A LOT-i mean REALLY A LOT- was that both times she got bullied (the first one in the toilet) and second when they almost raped her, she didnt report the incidents IMMEDIATELY. Unprofessional, dangerous, pathetic, epsecially when we re talking for the certain school environment. Plus so far away from Japan's strict rules concerning students behavior.

I binge watch this last night but I didnt get any overwhelming feelings on this one. Chugakusei Nikki made me…
My exact thoughts for these 2 dramas. I slightly prefer CN in terms of storytelling. In CN we watched the ML struggling with his emotions (and the FL -less-but we saw that part). Here we get a friendly buddies atmosphere in first 2 ep and than BAM here comes the: "i want to live in a world where i ll be free to say who i love". Ok attraction and love works in mysterious way-i never need justification for emotions, but still when i watch a drama i want to see the inner struggling of a person who falls in love so i can empathize and relate.
It has nothing to do with the fact that Majo is that old. Good storytelling has nothing to do with time (netflix thousands of crappy dramas proudly prove that!!)
Overall, both dramas have their pros and cons. Majo gives a more suitable age than CN-and i dont mean in terms of taboo etc. But it works better being a minor of 17yo but not that of child of 15, since in that period of our lives, even 1 year makes the difference on the way we feel and react.

I don't judge it like pedophilia, there are many other teacher/student dramas too.I have problem with reason -…
I agree on that "speed" ranting of yours-in terms of dramatization and plotwise-but i dont see how they could make it since Jdramas are so short (chinese got it in that aspect with their 30+ episodes at least hahahahahah). As for speed in emotions, hm i guess that the depiction is quite ok, cause the boy is only 15 and we all been there, in 15 -even much much later on - attraction towards a person comes immediately, no reason included. I mean, the pure animal attraction we ve got as species, the instictive one. As for her, we can clearly see that both her and her fiance, are just "good in papers" as we say in my country. There's admiration, love, but not sparkling enough to be considered as lovers and mates. She smiles with that security smile of a person in a long term relationship, nothing more. There is no passion, no intimacy, more of a sibling vibe than the thing we call "being in love". Its very common after many years together, to make plans for a family without any kind of passion and there's the big trap. So there is already a gap that can be filled by another person-if im allowed to put it that way. I ve watched only 4 ep up to now, i may change my mind a bit, it depends on the story progression.

Another very promising story that went downhill. I dont care being dissapointed while watching a mediocre story, but when it comes to a plot with so many good elements, arghhh its such a waste

I presume you are asking why the kidnapper (who were actually 2 people) kidnapped ML's sister. They aren't shown…
The answer is due to bad writing. The main question when we ve got a murder in a show is: why the killer acted this way? It could be anything, from traumatic childhood which turned him into a monster, to human trafficking, sexual or other kinds of abuse, psychopath/sociopath as a personality etc. But here is pure bad writing.

They're only 14 years apart in the story. I mean its a lot but its not crazy... Not sure why everyone is calculating…
Well actually it happens in real life too :)

in reality, it's all about a look when two people involve if a 40 y woman is slim and sexy then that's okay. If…
In reality there can be love between any age/bodytupe/looks people. Sadly, in shows we can see only good looking people fall in love with other good looking people and so on

Loved this drama! one of the best romances I watched in years! for anyone who's looking for a well-written romance…
This drama was like a jentle touch on my cheek. Such beautiful and deep communication between the main leads. As for the fictional cheating, oh god, for these 2 partners (wife and husband of the main leads), cheating is the lighter punishment for their really bad quality characters-esp her husband! I had to watch such a s@tty character for centuries!

i would like to start with this drama ... but the tag 'infidelity" kind of bugged me , is the infidelity in this…
You can just watch it without accepting it or relate with any of the heroes. Its just a show.

Is this a priests discussion section or what?

First of all, dramas/movies/art in general do not have ANY obligation to give messages, teach people things etc.

Its about telling a story. By color, by pictures, by animation, by notes and musical signs, by stone or marble.

If you want reality messages, or afterwards conclusions that are indeed real, watch a documentary.

Art is about telling stories. Either of the creator(s) or of the way he/she experiences and interpretes life. The audience doesnt have to relate, approve, vote for anything. We watch, we admire, we reject, we dislike, we get amazed and thats all about art -ok sometimes art products make us think more, or imagine or even change our mindset, or even more broaden our horizons a bit.

But that's all.

Second, love can be born in any i mean ANY kind of circumstances. We may fall in love with someone who is terminally ill, we may find love at the cemetary, when we bury a family member, or after an accident where we almost died, Attraction, may it be superficial as lust or spontaneous magnetism, may it be deeper connection that leads to love, can occur and exist in every possible life's environment.

Love is not something that 20+ targeting dramas show. It's that too, but not only that.
Leaving here my two cents for all these who commented on the "adultery" and "morality" depicted.

Love does not necessarily mean that people involved are good, kind or they will become better human beings during the procedure of loving, its just lov, it is what it is. People should stop idealizing feelings and accept their human nature, which is full of flaws, charisma, able for the best and the worst.

Last but not least, since when a child of divorced parents is doomed to be unhappy?

Shows that are too real to be digested, should be watched by the appropriate audience.

Everyone else who gets triggered, can watch virgin 35yo cold hearted CEO's falling in love with bubbly girls (which according to them is more realistic-it doesnt matter that it never happens in real life whatsoever) or cartoons with the sign: "for audience under 15"

Teletumbies would be a good idea too.

With all due respect

What is the reason?
Actually you should delete your commente because SYJ already apologized admitting that the messages between them were all true (which is fine, people make mistakes). But overall, your comment does not depict the truth.

whats wrong with being virgin at 30 like be fr bruh. Sex is only okay if you're married in my opinion. like why…
Of course its my business to criticize a drama. Thats why all people are here (maybe except you and some other weirdos). I wont take your permission to write. I didnt forbid anyone for living the way they want. You are the one with fascistic dogmas not me. Now take your block and go play.

The end of discussions is not something you or anyone are entitled to order. So watch your mouth and go somewhere else to play, this is MDL not your playground. As for your fav subject-sex-you can do whatever you want to yourself, and guess what...you cant do anything about other people's activities, bedwise or others. Live with that.

Of course sex without protection can lead to pregnancy thats why we prevent it. And STDs-you can still have them even if you have sex with only your husband, unless you get married while you re both 12yo, which is illegal all over the civilized world. Im not here to lecture kids about sex -sorry. What you write hardly makes sense. I suggest you should get some sex education even if you live in a country that is not allowed. Its really sad to see people expressing such misanthropistic opinions.
