Episode 1 and I'd really like to slap the Dad, poor old Ayu and Yuki.
Got bored by episode 4, nothing really new about it and too little time spent on Ayu and Yuki. Was waiting for the wild mum to be wild...didn't happen.
Got to three and found I no longer liked him or respected her - dropped. Too adult for me maybe? Lacking chemistry? Morally too 'grey'? Didn't find Saito's acting convincing either. Loved Orange Days and was hoping this would be good.
Excellent stuff! Hiromi-chan made me cry on a few occasions, fortunately I was watching on my own so I can keep up the pretense of being a tough old boy...
I can't get past the 'problematic' parts of this show. Though the FL in this is great she isn't enough to keep me watching. Better than Meteor Garden (which I also dropped, rapey bastards a go go).
I started this and didn't manage the first episode it just seemed too much the same old thing.
I also have a pet hate for the smug "I'm so rich and handsome, I can treat women how I want" bastards and when I got to the flick on the forehead I just started skipping through the episode. I might go back to it but I doubt it.
I was quite surprised at this, it pulled me along and thoroughly entertained me. The ending, as with so many dramas; was a little bathetic but not enough to ruin things.
I dropped this in the end due to the intense significance of everything making it ultimately boring. The first couple of episodes were excellent though and the FL at least acted well. A missed opportunity really if they'd stuck to the ordinary everyday feel of the beginning it could have been great.
I found I was skipping through to only watch the interactions between the leads by episode 5 and so gave up. Worth a try to see if the supporting cast entertain you but architecture and constant mithering about relationships didn't do it for me.
