I read it on wattpad. Not English but Vietnamese translation through google translate on Chrome. If you want to try...actually its pretty easy to understand even after GT messed up the pronouns and some other stuff.

Let me clear this confusion here. The series had to cram a lot of important scenes into one episode...scenes which took place over a weeks or even a month's time. Type's internet bullying lasted for at least 2 weeks. We heard Tharn say that Type hadn't gone to class for a week. They can't show small time jumps of a week or 2, they put some dialogues in that explained the jump to make the flow better. But sometimes it still felt abrupt.
Type's confessing about his rape happened months before he asked Tharn to have sex with him. The scene that happened just before was Tharn confessing that he likes Type. And even then Type didn't ask him to have sex the next day. It was weeks after Tharn's confession. If you remember Tharn was studying coz their exams were coming up. But when Type woke Tharn up in the next scene Tharn had been planning to go home...which means exams were finished and everyone was going home for a break.
Now the reason why Type asked Tharn to have sex with him. This is from the book. A pity they didn't include at least some of Type's thought process about it.
Type had been doing some thinking after his bullying incident. He had realized that he can't go on like this. Tharn had been right. He can't survive in the society if he didn't try to overcome his homophobia. What happens if later when he's working his boss is gay...or his co workers? He had to find a way.
Then Tharn confessed that he likes Type and wants to have sex with him. So Type starts thinking that here is his solution. He realized that Tharn's touch doesn't disgust him or triggers him. He remembered that when Tharn was touching him in the bathroom he even forgot that scum rapist and what he did to him. So why don't he uses Tharn and his feelings for him to get over his homophobia. If he has sex with Tharn then he might be cured. Its worth a try. Type even thought of how long might take for him to recover after the sex so he chose the time when everyone had gone home...his nosy neighbors and his friends.
Also Tharn clearly said he wants to have sex with Type but not right now. Tharn was giving Type time to accept his feelings. Tharn more than anyone knew what Type had gone through and how it triggers him. But he also knows Type enjoys his touch and gets aroused by him. In the book, after Tharn confesses, he gave Type space to digest everything and not feel pressured.

Its not legal in Thailand but maybe Tharn was considering getting married in a country where it is.
Ordination, here is referring to becoming a Buddhist monk.
In Thailand, anyone can choose to get ordained as a monk for a short period...from days to weeks to months to years. After they finish they can go back to their secular life. It's considered as a sign of respect towards their parents and their devotion to Buddhism.
Here's translated chap 01 from the 3rd book on which season 2 will be based. This chapter is from Type's POV. If you read it you can see he's changed a lot, matured a bit but he still remains hotheaded especially when he feels unappreciated. Their difference of opinion started over kids because they can't get married. So Type refused to consider having any.

Yeah so refreshing to see a different faculties other than engineering. Even the author commented that she was tired of reading about engineering in most bls even the readers must be too so she wanted to try something new. And also she based her story in a uni. in ChiangMai not Bangkok as its usually done.
Little spoiler about Sarawat...his dad is a big shot in law enforcement and very famous too. But I think no one at the uni knows that. Sarawat means Inspector...his brother's name means Captain and his other brother's name means Lieutenant....so yeah his parents have no imagination or his dad was planning on creating a police force in his own family.

I did watch it...not completely though. I got really frustrated with PeteKao. I finished for SunMork. I do agree they did some things really well. I liked all the mature and frank discussions like between Pete and his dad, Pete and Kao about his coming out, etc.
But something felt off between TayNew chemistry wise, so PeteKao didn't give me that couple vibe I was expecting from a 3 year old couple. Their insecurities I knew about from reading the book but it felt more upsetting to watch it. I don't remember Pete being this unreasonable in the book. Then they dragged the Nont thing too much and added on to it. By the end I was basically skipping them to watch SunMork.
Anyways despite my issues with it, I feel more bl dramas should have such frank discussions between characters about sexual orientation and coming out as DBK. It felt so fresh so see it in this genre.

I'm so so not the type to ship on screen couples off screen. Particularly thai screen couples coz its always fan service..even the BG couples. And I'm fine with that. I can enjoy that without getting conflicted over their reality. But with MewGulf my rules about not taking such things seriously have gone out the window completely. I can still take comments like "I ate a big cat" and not get shaken but then I see a clip of Gulf looking jealous and murderous at a someone coz he was touching Mew...I mean, things they say can be explained away as fanservice by my brain but the things I see...how to explain that away....so there are daily battles going on in my head. Every day they keep challenging my perceptions about their relationship.
I have to agree though they are a happy pill for me too. So what I've decided is I don't care anymore whether its real or not. I'm gonna enjoy watching these two flirt and be naughty and caring towards each other wholeheartedly.

Yeah... TWM-NC totally ruined KornKnock for me in that. They ruined Yihwa too. I wish I can erase it entirely from my brain. I couldn't digest all of them cheating and then getting forgiven.
For TT S2, I have confirmation from different people who've read the 3rd book that there will be no cheating. There will be rivals...for both Tharn and Type. There will be misunderstandings, difference of opinions over getting married, wanting kids, fighting insecurities and a separation for a while too. There will be a kiss between Type and the other guy, maybe noncon, or under influence, not sure. But its witnessed by Tharn and all hell breaks loose.
There was also a recent tweet from Mame saying that she wants to see how Gulf will look ordained. Someone said in the book Type gets ordained for some time. They also cleared that TharnType won't breakup but will be in a on-a-break situation, which may be where the separation comes in.
So S2 will certainly won't lack in drama and angst but it won't be caused by cheating.....I don't think Mame would mess with her own story and production like that.

Exactly for this reason. I know all about you guys taking breaks to tweet and retweet in middle of work/school. Then there are these late... late nights waiting for them to go to sleep so you guys can go to sleep too. You guys have basically become sleep deprived mommies waiting for your babies to stop playing and go to bed after a long tiring day.

I agree...Third moving on would have been the perfect end forTOL.
For me, at first I understood and sympathized with Third but as the story went on, he just became a super frustrating character. I don't care whether its realistic or not but if I, as a viewer, stop sympathizing with the main character then there's nothing to pull me to the finish line. If only P'Un had been a real contender.....that's the only character I liked in TOL.
Also, Kai's shift was too sudden. If, before he saw Third's confession, we had got some scenes of Third going on dates and trying to move on. But Kai interfering with or sabotaging third's relationships in fear of loosing him, even as a friend...then I could've understood his change later....at a stretch. He saw Third's confession and started getting bothered. In denial he pushed him away in a very nasty manner. He comes back from a break with changed sexual orientation and suddenly he's lusting after Third?? You see what I mean? If we had seen Kai possessive over Third and not treat him like shit, then I could have at least understood his change of feelings later on.
I've been watching bls for a long time and I feel Thai bls have so much more variety in content lately, that each and everyone of us finds something they connect with and a story they fall in love with. We don't necessarily have to like same things but lets appreciate that we do have enough shows that almost every kind of bl fan is satisfied.

SS1 was based on book1&2. SS2 will be based on book 3 called TharnType: The seven year curse. Yes, it takes place during their working life and this time they will have to make Gulf look older, which I think will be easier. Different Clothes and hairstyle can easily add a few years .

Yes, of course. Those things would have certainly helped. Since TT was produced on low budget so even though they did their level best some things still seem lacking. For e.g the camera quality. Just compare TharnType scenes in TT and WRU....you'll see the difference. But they have investors for SS2 now. Hopefully they'll do everything in their power to make this production better...do things they couldn't afford to in ss1.

Its certainly fluffier than TTts. I'm not on Twitter but I never miss the MewGulf drama. There's new episode everyday and usually some cute scene every night. Loved today's episode...escaping to have a midnight dinner date. Only the restaurant had closed already and they ended up eating at the street side restaurant. Pity Mew's manager had to take a taxi home. Mame scolding them so mom-ish.
Oh and trending hashtags every freaking day....waanjais are something else.

Believe me its nothing like TOL. I can't believe its the same author. I have issues with Theory of Love too. Even with the book, I had to skip half of it. The difference between the two is huge, while still having some similarities. It's like she was in love while writing this book...and maybe going through heartbreak while writing TOL.
Only wish GMMTV considers subbing it fast and not follow their usual delayed schedule.

You might soon find yourself googling "Mew Suppasit's veiny hands" and saving every pic you can find. I won't be surprised if soon your phone, tab, laptop will proudly flaunt those drool worthy hands.

The novel is mostly about Sarawat and Tine. The other couples are in special chapters. I think the drama changed the timelines of those other love lines to happen alongside our main couple.

From what I'm reading about book 3 in spoilers, it seems this time it will be Tharn who'll become the immature and excessive one in his jealousy. And yes, Type becomes super busy and I think he gets transferred too. Someone around Type, at his workplace probably, exacerbates the situation by creating misunderstanding between them by lying.
Just read today that JayBL got Mame's permission to translate a few chapters from book 3. So keep an eye out for those.
