Yeah this the first trailer I saw and I thought it was good. I didn't realize it caused quite a commotion in Thailand…
Lmao...something like that. I'm grasping at straws....making up things out of thin air....I need something.....anything..... to explain what the hell happened with the writer and the director. I guess we can explain the writer away now. But what about the director? What on earth was he thinking? How can you allow those scenes to air.....how can you not notice that glaring awkwardness between a couple living together...supposedly in love. Supposedly, coz watching the last 2 episodes, I wasn't convinced one bit of their liking each other let alone loving each other.

Yeah this the first trailer I saw and I thought it was good. I didn't realize it caused quite a commotion in Thailand…
From what I remember, after the first trailer came out it looked so very different from the book that the fans completely rejected the changes in the most of the characters, Sarawat and Tine in particular. How can Sarawat punchTine...he's so much in love with him.....How can he have an ex girlfriend when he doesn't even let people get close to him. Win is too buff to be Tine.....why do these girls need to bring drama between the couple when in the book Pear was more dedicated to her studies then flirting with Tine. Also Sarawat, Pam, Man, Boss and some others have been friends from school so she was treated more like one of the boys than an ex-crush by Sarawat, etc
These were some of the objections to the changes.
You know, after comparing the old trailer with this changed version, I get the feeling that this version is more like the screen writer's revenge. Nothing else makes sense.

Why? Covid effect? Still, this drama was shot before all that. And if some rumors(?) are to be believed, the last…
Gmmtv shot the first trailer just to get sponsors and get the viewers interested. So the actual filming of this series started after that first trailer aired...around early October last year, I think. That's when the book fans started bombarding their official pages with their negative reactions to the trailer. They changed the script after that and decided to follow the book. At least that was the plan. The end product though seems more of a mishmash of book scenes all randomly placed within their version of the story. I recently watched that old trailer again....I was surprised to see that they had added Sarawat and Tines movie date scene in that and not in the series....when the series was supposedly following the book.

OMG!!!! this comment from P'New (director of Love by Chance and Until We Meet Again) was so on point that I want…
This guy knows what he's doing. I don't always like his directing but he knows what he's talking about. Always, always keep the book fanbase first before making a new one with your series. Didn't the uproar after the first trailer prove that to gmmtv already? Isn't that why they changed their minds and decided to follow the book? It makes no sense that they screwed up after all that effort.
This really makes me feel like we who loved the book and the fans of BL got tricked into watching this series.

Watched the first half on mute...coz I didn't care to know what they were saying, just watching the scenes was pissing me off already. Then the second half ...I decided to listen to the dialogues but that just made me cover my eyes in frustration. And thats how I finished the finale of 2gether. I wish it had ended with them Never 2gether....that seemed a fitting end to this mess.
Came here and found out there was a celebratory anniversary Hi-Five.....I must have missed it. Thank God I was covering my eyes.
My husband saw me with my eyes covered and asked me if I was watching a horror show....I replied yes it was horrific what they did to this pretty nice love story.
I just want to thank GMMTV for convincing me never to try their bls again.
And also subtitling the directors name so that I remember never to watch his work again.
Finally I want to sincerely thank the author Jittirain for introducing us to Scrubb, Desktop Error, DCNXTR, ModernDog, Moving and Cut,etc.....Yes it was the author who painstakingly chose the songs befitting the situations between Sarawat and Tine in the book ...NOT the Director or the writers from GMMTV. They just copy pasted those songs in the series....except for the songs at the start and end credits....each and every song used in this series is from the book. They didn't even know some of the bands the author mentioned in her story....as evidenced in the mistranslated name 'The Connect' of the band DCNXTR.

Sarawat is in love with Tine longer :DAt least in books it's almost throughout the whole high school
I think you must have misunderstood. Tine and Sarawat didn't go to the same school . Thai school uniforms have school names in initials embroidered on the shirts on the top right side or the left. Tine and Sarawat's shirts in the flashback scene have different thai alphabets.

They were kind of on a break. Dim and Green were living together til just after the term started. They had a fight…
Yes, Sarawat wanted it to be real from the start that's why he said no first. Tine was mad that Sarawat kept from him that Green had a boyfriend and was not actually interested in him. And that he let him go through the whole drama of fake flirting when he could have sorted out the whole situation.
Tine likes everything to be said word for word to understand while Sarawat is too shy to say everything he feels. So instead he does things to show his feelings which then is misunderstood as playing around by Tine. Everything Sarawat said during their 'fake flirting' was actually his true feelings. Since he could hide behind the excuse of fake flirting, he could confidently say whatever he felt for Tine.

So I am confusion. Can anyone help me figure this out? Based on this episode, Green and Dim got together during…
They were kind of on a break. Dim and Green were living together til just after the term started. They had a fight after Green read a text on Dim's phone from a girl. There was also a group chat where Dim was making fun of Green with his friends.(Everyone on that chat made fun of their partners to blow steam). Green was hurt and asked for a breakup but Dim pacified him and they made love. But when he woke up Green was gone and so were his belongings. Green started staying with his friend. Dim didn't go after him thinking Green will come back on his own. One day Sarawat came and told him Green was chasing Tine, whom he has liked for a long time. Thats when Dim went searching for Green and forcefully brought him back. Dim also brought Green to the music club so he can keep an eye on him.
In short, they were on a break according to Green but for Dim, he was just giving Green time to get over it.

The series is getting frustrating st the time when I am beginning to like it. In episode 6, there are scenes that…
I wish the producers of book adaptations would put the author of the book on the writing team, if only as an advisor. So many series and films get ruined because the creators think they can do better. This has become my pet peeve when watching adaptations now after Cheese in the trap kdrama scarred me for life with its idiotic, brain dead changes.
I'm still enjoying this drama but its not the same like the first few episodes. I think introducing the side pairings so early on failed the main storyline. The other changes don't help either, in my opinion. Only thing I'm kind of happy with is the pace. The fast pace helps to limit Tine's confusion about his feelings to a few episodes only, when in the book Tine was confused for more than half of the book.
The scenes that don't make sense in the drama are the ones which have been shown out of sequence. In the book, the drinking party in Man's room came after Tine already knew about Sarawat having feelings for him for a year. Sarawat also confessed with 'Don't have to like me but open your heart to me' and completely letting go of his inhibitions infront of Tine, before that party. So both gangs drinking together and sharing secrets and their feelings makes more sense in the book. Changing the sequence of the events has messed up the timeline and thats making the narrative suffer. Acting of the main leads is the only thing thats consistent and improving with each episode.
And that thing you mentioned about Sarawat and his band performing in the bar the day before the Scrubb concert......it was kind of their dress rehearsal.

I felt they just want to have conflict/dramatic scene which are almost none in the novel. Look what happened in…
The reason for the violence is so stupid. I mean, who sends people to beat up someone so bad just because the person was being rude to a senior.....even using belts and bats? What does that say about Mil as a person? And then the drama brought forward the PhukongMil storyline, I'm so not looking forward to the mess its going to create.

I think the series has changed a lot of things. Since there are two more couples whose story needs to be told in 13 episodes, the pace of Sarawat and Tine's story has been hurried up a bit. Maybe Tine will be less frustrating in the series as there is not enough time for him to keep denying until the end.

Anyone know which actors have been cast to play Mork's uncles? I loved their story and am very interested in seeing it portrayed on screen. I don't think we ever had an older gay couple in a thai bl before.

Part of the reason I started reading the unofficial translation of the novel is because I wanted to read what…
Actually, in the book, there are very subtle hints from the first time Tine saw Sarawat in the Uni. that he feels something for him. His heart fluttered the first time he heard Sarawat's voice. But because we are reading from Tine's POV most of the time, we only read him denying it. There are some scenes where the other characters comment on his blushing and his hands shaking in front of Sarawat. Tine also mentions feeling warm and comforted just listening to Sarawat's voice on the phone. Tine felt happy when Sarawat said he'd come to wipe Tine's makeup after every game. He is also jealous and possessive over Sarawat. Tine hasn't rejected Sarawat whenever he holds Tine's hand in front of everyone. These are just a few examples from the translated chapters, there are more in the chapters coming up. A little spoiler......Tine is going to keep denying until the very end...or I should say until chapter 18...when he decides to end things with Sarawat.

I was also thinking the same. Tine is straight and he told Wat why he wanted him to be his boyfriend, because…
Just to clear this whole high school thing.....Sarawat and Tine met only ONCE in their last year of high school.....they went to different high schools not the same one. They met at a Scrubb concert that was held in a Uni. in bangkok....well, not actually 'met'. They both came with their friends. Sarawat fell for him there. He followed him and stayed around him the entire time but never got the courage to go up and talk to him. Tine never even noticed him. After that Sarawat attended every Scrubb concert in hopes of meeting Tine again but never did. The next time he saw Tine was when Tine came to ask him to be his fake boyfriend.
Actually if you just forget that spoiler about Sarawat you will see that everything Sarawat says and does is completely straightforward, without any filter at times and only after gauging Tine's reactions to him. He notices every little thing about Tine.

Both have the same rehashed story. Nothing new. Unlike Taiwan's BL's.Bright can definitely sing:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVmyyVyecJchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF8TN_Cj2ZYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1snIyqp5TSEWhy…
Don't know about the others...but according to the book Sarawat is not supposed to be a good singer....just a passable one. Maybe that's why Bright held back in the series.

I agree with you. The 4th episode didn't please me as much as the others either. I am watching this drama mainly…
I think that may be it. Without Green, the epi felt a bit dull...while with him epi is full of energy. Tine's friends never felt ott and their humour was good too not cringey. So they were definitely missed.
I didn't mean the acting of the leads, Bright is killing it...Win
is doing fine too except for one or two instances. It's the rest of them that felt off...or that it was not flowing smoothly. New characters sudden intro didn't help.

Something felt off in this episode...I disconnected a few times. I was shocked at the end when I realized I ff-ed a few times. That never happened in the past 3 epis. Maybe the editing....or may be the acting....it was not flowing smoothly. It was too good to last, anyways.
I feel Sarawat is a typical possessive male lead and the caring second lead of Kdramas rolled into one. More of the latter right now as the dim bulb Tine seems so utterly oblivious to all the hints Sarawat is dropping in front of him.
