When Hee Seung left Jay out of his unit, I was actually annoyed by his selection. I could understand why Jay felt betrayed. Obviously, he doesn’t like confrontations so i thought that he would have most definitely selected Jay as the perfect buffer between him and K. - That is the only thing that I don’t like about Heeseung. He has great leadership skills but he always shies away from confrontations, disagreements and disputes. It feels like he always goes for the easy way out. He always selects the perfect, pleasant, agreeable and orderly contestants for his units. - On the other hand, K can be too confrontational. His ideas of perfection are also his shortcomings. He can be so obsessed that he misses the bigger picture. - Finally, whatever they throw at Jay... He sulks for 10 seconds, drinks some honey and works it all out.
That is why I think if they can learn how to work with each other with Jay in the mix... These are my personal ideal top 3 debut members.
I am not going to lie. It was heartbreaking to watch “forever strong” K cry... I thought that he was going to argue with the whole unit; but instead, he started crying.
Whenever Hee Seung and K are together, it seems there are too many cooks in the kitchen. Jay seems to be the needed buffer between these 2 natural leaders.
- Hee Seung is the mama bear of the group. - K is the no BS, straight shooter of the group. - Jay is the RAS (resentment, anger and shame) representative of the group.
Yesss Rain especially seems to really care about the boys and want to make sure they perform their absolute best…
I think that K won the whole world over with his “Rainism/One Of A Kind” choreographic dance routine... Me, he won me over with his straight-shooter and no BS personality. K doesn’t sugarcoat it for anyone... Neither on cameras or off cameras.
Is it true about Rain and Zico are not participating for this “infamous part 2” of the competition? This production…
Oh, that is unfortunate. Besides the contestants, they were the highlights of this production. I had a lot of fun watching both of them commenting... And their fashion styles were a riot:)....
Wow... So much biases against K... Just because he speaks his mind. What, every contestant supposes to walk on eggshells for fear of damaging each other’s fragile ego??? Ridiculous.
K - Fighting!!! Many of the audience love you just the way you are.
As long as Hee Seung, K and Jay rank 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the producers and global votings... I am pretty much good with any of the rest of the contestants.
My ideal debut contestants would be: - Hee Seung - K - Jay - Jung Won - Sung Hoon - Ni-Ki - Daniel

Again FYI: Rain and Zico are the best mentors at giving constructive criticism and feedback. Their feedback are constructive, reassuring and can be used as a motivational tool to further the contestants’ musical and artistic developments... Not soul-crushing feedback as the performance directors seem to enjoy giving.
(I love that K is honest enough to talk out loud about what everyone else is thinking... He is a straight-shooter... There is no BS with him... I do agree with his statement that these 2 have some skills but not enough to rank them 1st and 2nd over much more talented contestants who have won us over with their talents instead of the typical fandom popularity... And finally... Wow... So much biases against K... Just because he speaks his mind. What, every contestant supposes to walk on eggshells for fear of damaging each other’s fragile ego??? Ridiculous.

One of better drama I have seen.Thank goodness for the Male leads and some of the female actresses. The main two…
I will say it... The 2 leading female characters were useless, unneeded, unlikable and rather unnecessary even though the storyline called for their characters.
More specifically, the female lead character, Un Nyun / Kim Hye Won - played by Lee Da Hae, was one of the most boring female character ever... I could not understand for the life of me why that girl was acting like a high born with noble status without any survival skills whatsoever throughout the entire drama. Even though she was a slave only 10 years earlier. I really never understood or liked her character.
I agree with you about him acting in more serious projects. I feel he shines best in more serious roles. I actually…
Agreed. I am watching this drama and I am asking myself “Why is he in this?” This is so below his caliber. It is so unfortunate that his freedom comes with a limited selection of projects.
I believe much better and more serious projects are coming his way. Zheng Ye Cheng has the skills, the talent, the looks and the perseverance to succeed in this cutthroat Chinese film industry.
Yes, but oth, the post above says this drama got 730 million views on just one channel.. That's worth something,…
Hey, The more viewers... the better...
Anything to help him out. I am not crazy about the storyline (one in a million produced every year); I am only watching this drama to support his acting career.
He did not sign any entertainment company therefore have limited choices. He entered the field with zero entertainment…
That is so unfortunate and very upsetting. As one of his international fans, I wish him all the best of luck... Because he really does shine in his roles no matter how small and insignificant they are.
*To me, Zheng Ye Cheng is on the same acting skill level as Luo Yunxi.
He did not sign any entertainment company therefore have limited choices. He entered the field with zero entertainment…
He really does deserve more. Compared to the increasingly high numbers of eye-candies out there who base their fame solely on popularity... Zheng Ye Cheng got the skills and the talent.
*Even when he is playing an ass (I apologize for my French); his deliveries are flawless.

Why... Why... in the names of all that are godly; he has not signed with a entertainment company yet? WHY? This young man is good. He is really good at acting.
*Am I the only one who has noticed that? FYI: He did graduate from the National Academy of Chinese Theatre of Arts, majoring in Chinese opera and he is an expert in Wushu martial arts. I think that he is a perfect candidate for any kind of costumed drama.
