A ridiculous premise with an amazing execution tbh. Over the top, hilarious and entertaining!Ok-Hui's Girl Gang…
Joo Min Kyung who played the Bae Ok Hee’s character should have been the female lead. She was so much better. She completely outshined the FL.
The actress who played the FL on the other hand… Completely boring as always… That power was wasted on her character. The only time that I ever tolerated her acting was in “Lee San, Wind of the Palace.”
Fr this has the same rating as Kim Nam Gil’s Island (imo was so bad) but this series is so much better
Ah… “Island” I can truthfully say that I watched that one, just for Kim Nam Gil’s sake because I am loyal. While most everyone was going ga-ga over that punk of a young priest… His character and the FL character pissed me of the most.
I don't know where this is in the US but the cast is fantastic exc for the FL (idol?). If LHJ was lead, wow. She…
I am not sure why she has not shown any improvement in acting… Still. She has been in the industry for a while now. But she is still come out totally flat.
Meanwhile, the second FL comes out of the drama… Blazing! With not much experience under her belt. That actress reminds me of the character, Ji, played by Yoon Ji Min in “Warrior Baek Dong Soo.”
This drama doesn't come close to being the same caliber as Mr. Sunshine.
As valid, your opinion might seem to yourself… I completely disagree. However, I try to always remind myself that personal opinions are strictly subjective.
Truthfully, aside from being boring (Most of the episodes)… This production (Whatever the hell it is…) is confusing as hell. It is not quite a romcom, not quite a drama nor a supernatural thriller. It is so darned confusing. Like, they could not decide on one specific genre so they used the whole kitchen. The ML (Although Gorgeous), his character is not really likable. Spellbound or no spellbound, I can’t fully justify his actions. The FL (Loved that actress in “Forest”), but not really liking her character in this production. Using a love spell to get someone to love you… It is utterly F$$$U$, in no matter the era. Literally, no one questioned her actions.
Anyway… If I fast forward even more that I am already doing, I will be watching episode 16 before its release.
Watch it! You won’t regret it. The only thing you will regret is this long break between the first part and…
To That… I fully agree. Namkoong Min’s character, Lee Jang Hyun, is beyond well executed. I could say… This is one of his best ones but the man has so many of them… I’ll just say; among all of his other characters’ portrayals (Protagonist/anti-protagonist/villain/shady/in-between)… - Sageuk✅ As for the rest of the production, I am entertained but I am most definitely not blown away.
As much as I love Jang Hyuk… And absolutely everything’s Jang Hyuk… This drama is not working for me. I understand that they were trying to integrate 2 genres together (Family comedy and dark thriller). However, the wrong montage between the 2 are way too grand. I find myself wishing for a full blown dark thriller, instead of this confusing mix.
FYI: Also, I am having a very hard time sensing any sort of chemistry between the 2 main leads, aka Mr. Smith and Mrs. Smith. In my long history of watching Jang Hyuk, this is my second time dropping a project from him; right after “Wok of Love.”
“Why R U?” the original Thai version is one of my top favorite Thai BL series, right after “I Told Sunset About You” and “SOTUS.” Therefore, maybe I am extremely biased… But, I am not feeling this inspired Korean version. I will continue on watching it but it is not doing absolutely anything to capture my full attention.
Cha Seung Won is like Kim Soo-hyun… No matter how hard they try to dress them down; they both simply can’t hide their star charisma/power.
FYI: I thought that Nam Da Reum was away doing his military service for the next 2 years. Apparently, he completed this movie right before he enlisted… Hence, his unusual military hair cut.
Some dramas, whether good or bad… You just want the drama to be over. Then, we have a very small number like “Moorim School…” Where 16 episodes are just not enough. We simply want more. Not because it ends on the “Asian usual cliffhanger’s format.” NO! We simply want more storyline, we want to spend more time with the characters and basically, we don’t want the drama to be over.

This is one of the best BLs of 2023! So Sweet, heartfelt and adorable! The leads have such a beautiful chemistry.…
This BL series had a HIStory back in the days’ vibe about it. In fact, I actually went to confirm that it was not a HIStory’s production after i finished the first episode. Now, their series have lost the great shine and attraction that they used to have, up to “Make Our Days Count.”
This BL series definitely had that vibe. Very good watch.
Can pull off a good comedy…
About that!
Not bad.

There is absolutely no flow in this thing🤣
I say; engage it like entering a labyrinth.
The probability of getting lost is 1000/1000.

However, I certainly can vouch for “Song of the Bandits…”
These 9 episodes are very darned well executed.
Any info on the release for a part 2?
This should be an 8.8 or a 9.0 rating.
I place it on the same caliber as “Mr. Sunshine.”
