This was good. I love the domineering and submissive traits between the leads. It's more like a Japanese drama.…
Okay this is late but I have to pipe in here. I get what you're trying to say about J-dramas and have to agree. They rule for pushing boundaries and limits. They have a tendency to be more direct in their conveyance of themes and plot lines. They leave out a lot of the fluff that's often used to soften up topics and are far more direct.
I've watched a ridiculous amount of Asian dramas and the trends I've found are (bear with me while I try to breakdown my thoughts and put them into words; also, I'm referring to romantic and romantic-comedy dramas only):
K-DRAMAS - these tend to have the most depth and structure of them all. Even a "light' kdrama tends to be heavier than most others. I've probably come across only a handful that are purely light and fluffy romantic dramas. There's always an underlying story, theme or plot line other than the romance. Kdramas are usually very well-written though and are usually very complex. They take you on a trip for sure. Sometimes I have to take a break from their heavier stories. That's where C- and J-dramas come into play for me.
C-DRAMAS - these tend to be lighter than kdramas and jdramas. They tend to avoid the "ugly" or stick to the surface more. They, for me, are really good at light and fluffy. They aren't as good as the Koreans when it comes to writing storylines with depth and they SUCK at wrapping up their stories, in a major way. Only in the last couple of years have I seen significant improvement in that regard but it's still their greatest weakness. Cdramas for me are great for when I need a break from reality...and lots of cotton candy.
J-DRAMAS - BLUNT. That's literally the first word that comes to mind. They are more risque' than the others and quite frankly they have some of the wildest and craziest (and often taboo) storylines of them all. They aren't shy about skinship. They don't skim the surface of topics; instead they dive right in and go deep. I LOVE that they are usually short and to the point. Jdramas are the only ones that are forever making my jaws drop...or scratch my head...or just sit and stare for a while to process what I just watched. The WILD part is, even with those reactions, the darn things are great!!!
T-DRAMAS (Taiwanese) - they fall somewhere between K- and C- dramas. I haven't watched nearly as many of them as the others though but while they tend to be light and fluffy, they've a tendency to be a bit more complex than c-dramas but nowhere close to that of kdramas. Maybe "complex" isn't the right word. More like..."soapy". They, for me, are the most comparable with c-dramas. C-dramas are often better produced and executed though. Endings being the exception. T-dramas tend to wrap up rather nicely. C-dramas beat T-dramas for light and fluffy, although T-dramas do them pretty well too. I think the difference is really in the length of the dramas. T-dramas tend to develop their stories very well and uses their higher episode count more wisely. C-dramas can be long but often times that doesn't mean improved development of the storyline. Instead they often end up falling short or getting lost along the way while T-dramas do a good job of the standard intro, build-up & development, body and conclusion.
Not sure why so many people were disappointed with the ending. It actually seems like a nice clean wrap up to me. Taking the fantasy away and opening the door for their romance to become reality. I don't think the guy at the end was meant to be a doppelganger or anything like that. I think he's just a reincarnation (or possibly even a distant ancestor) of the original Divine Doctor. In fact, this is a pretty typical ending for this kind of story.
Says who? Oh, you mean the bible? Which version, you need to be specific. Oh and since Jews and Muslims all believe in the old testament too you really need to specify whether you mean the old or new testament as well. It definitely must also be one published AFTER the crusades, you know when the actual original books were wiped out and the bible rewritten by the monarchy who ruled the church at the time? They blatantly used it as a tool to force their beliefs on the population. They even acknowledged that they did! Shit, even worse people were forced to be Christian!
This is why atheists don't believe, because of morons like you who choose to blindly believe every word of a book written and rewritten time and again by MAN! Of course you ignore rational thinking and all the contradictions therein. You don't look around and observe God's creations to truly understand HIM. So you pass on your man-made moral judgement onto others certain that you're "right". Based on WHAT?
I'm just as certain that I'm right and you're an idiot too but the difference is I choose to respect others beliefs (or lack thereof) no matter how much I may disagree with them. I'm only bashing you here because that's exactly what you've done. Otherwise I wouldn't have come at you this way because IT IS WRONG to force your goddamn opinion onto others. Even coming at you like this feels dirty on my part since I firmly believe people are free to believe what the hell they want to believe BUT your choice of blasting both a person and a lifestyle (and belief) set me the hell off. Ugh!
there's nothing wrong with being gay, what's wrong with you?
Man I honestly even feel insulted on Jisoo's behalf that a person like this is using her name.
Any and all of you who stood up for Aaron I'll happily add you as friends because y'all rock. I'm straight as shit but real love can never be an ugly thing or a sin. This idiot probably still believes being gay is a choice. *smh*
The fact that people like you hate, judge and post hateful things and even believe such ugliness is why the world has become what it is. God is LOVE. I'm a full blown, die-hard Christian and one thing I can tell you is that a book written by humans to guide public opinion cannot supercede the reality that cannot be ignored. God made those people who love people of the same sex. God is LOVE. God is GOOD not hate. So there is no way GOD would hate something he made. Blind idiocy is your damn problem but we're all wasting our time trying to get through to you, I know. It's literally like trying to convince a Nazi or KKK member not to hate blacks and Jews. Let's see which of us is right when we move on and face our judgement. I'm not afraid because the GOD I love loves ALL of his children. You're an idiot.
he is not a cheater but it's not like you care right
Someone horrible calling another person horrible for just living his life. People like you are why the world is as ugly as it is. The ones we need to be rid of are those like yourself.
there's nothing wrong with being gay, what's wrong with you?
How was this person not blocked from the site or something? I cannot believe someone would post a comment like this on here, then proceed to defend their disgusting behavior! Kudos to you for addressing this! Never promote hate and negativity. Stand up for people's rights. I'm straight as can be but I was still very disturbed by that damn comment.
there's nothing wrong with being gay, what's wrong with you?
"Since when is being gay not wrong?" Ummmm, since the beginning of time. WTF is wrong with you? You may as well say, "since when is being racist wrong?" A person loving another can never be "wrong" so get over yourself and stop posting your ugliness on here for others to see. How were you not reported?
Has anyone else noticed that in those clips I believe that were there for commercial breaks that the SML is giving that one girl a wet willy? LMAOOOOOO!!!!
The secret is that the baby is theirs - hers and the brother's. That's why she told him he made sure to never…
Wait, I'm a little confused. Was I being shitty? If so, I didn't mean to at all. It looks like your post may not be directed at me but I want to be certain as I usually enjoy my conversations with you. We share our theories and such. If I came across as negative I apologize. It was never my intention.
