Title Our Glamorous Time Spoiler
Got another question. How long does it take for the FL to finally believe her 'senior' is a dirty P.O.S.? Around…
I absolutely detest Ning Weikai. Of course I dislike him for his dirty, underhanded and unethical ways, that's to be expected. However, what I hate most about him is whenever he's beat fair and square he has the gall to act all offended and disgusted by their schemes. Not to mention, the only reason they have to scheme against him is because of the need to protect themselves from his underhanded and immoral behavior. His actions are straight up illegal most of the time and unethical all of the time. Theirs is never either one. I'm only on episode 23 now and I'm going to say I hope like hell they don't give his character a redemption story because I'll be disgusted. Every single thing he does involves manipulation and calculation. His going after Grace is pissing me off because she's smart enough to see through him so if they end up letting them become close later on I'll probably throw up.

Oddly enough this is only the second time I've seen the actor playing Ning Weikai in a drama. The other time was when he was the SML in My Mr. Mermaid. What's crazy is his character there is the first time I genuinely hated a character while watching a drama, all because of his constant manipulation and scheming and selfishness. Sound familiar?

The actor needs to choose different roles because he plays these a bit too well. I ended up liking My Mr. Mermaid but have never been able to watch it again because of how strongly I felt about his character in it. It's been years. I didn't recognize him here at first but when I started catching on Ning Weikai's personality it all seemed too familiar. Then I realized why.

I have a question I hope someone might be able to answer as it keeps nagging at me. I'm just at the end of episode 8 but since the first time the FL's assistant mentioned wearing wigs (I think in the first episode) the FL has constantly been swapping back and forth between her own hair and a wig that's very similar to it in style. Is there a reason for this that shows itself later on or something? Like, maybe she cut her hair in later episodes and some of these scenes I'm watching now were filmed after that happened?

I'm only on the second episode now and I'm having some issues with that co-worker/friend of the FL. First, she wants to knowingly ship off faulty products to save money hoping most of those customers would be as dumb as her (literally the reasoning she gave but phrased differently), then she starts yelling at a customer that "she already said she was sorry" and proceeded to argue with them...um, what kind of bullshit apology was that? Then! The FL's brother arrives - whom the FL clearly doesn't want made aware of the troubles the business is currently facing - and she immediately ignores the FL and tells him everything. Had this been another drama she'd easily be someone the FL should avoid being in business with for sure.

Its a slow burn imo that could have been no more than 25-30 episodes, nevertheless I am enjoying it even though…
How slow are we talking? When do the leads get together?

Title So It's You
Yes, it’s pretty much exactly the same as the Korean version.
LOL! I swear you and I watch all the same things. You're always ahead of me though. Feels like every time I scroll through the comments just to make sure there won't be any ugly surprises in a drama I see your ID pop up. That's kinda cool.

I'd suggest you to watch it if you liked the movie. I know Miura Haruma was great as Kazehaya and I, too, loved…
Your response is perfection. Just what I needed. I'm definitely taking your advice. I'll watch this first but I'll also check out the anime if I can.

Thank you!

On From Me to You Apr 26, 2023
I actually watched the movie version of this a few months ago and ended up really enjoying it but for some reason I'm finding myself apprehensive about watching the series. Maybe it's because I don't want certain less appealing aspects of the drama to be drawn out longer than I can stand them to be???

Not to mention the ML in the movie was.......who was as stunningly gorgeous in it as ever, whom I will forever love and miss terribly to this day. Some of my apprehension may be due to the series linking me back to thoughts of him.

Can anyone let me know if this gets very angsty at all? Or does it stay pretty positive and mellow?

The message is forgiveness indeed. ML got great character development and became a better person, he’s able…
I realize too that I'm overly sensitive to this whole topic of people constantly failing to take responsibility for their own actions and instead choosing to place all of the blame on others, even going so far as to actively expressing their anger in such terrible ways. It takes a lot to cross the line and act upon your negative thoughts. Everyone has those thoughts but, at least in the past, most people never actually acted upon them. In the drama (and as we now commonly see more and more in reality too) every single person acted upon those ugly thoughts. Everyone also came to their own conclusions about their situations without ever communicating with the other person involved, which could have allowed both parties an opportunity to grow. I think the series actually tried to convey that too but that part of the message was somewhat lost in the mix along the way.

It's tremendously frustrating that more and more people seem to think this behavior is acceptable which, quite frankly, is utterly insane in my opinion. Like what's happening to humanity? Has the value of "doing to others as you'd have them do to you gone out the window?" In the drama, not a single person told the ML how they felt or ever expressed their frustration towards him until the FL finally did, and it took so much for her to even get to the point of expressing herself to him as well. How do people expect others to know there's a problem when they never bother expressing it to them? Just like when he said not a single person said anything to him about the death threat email. No one communicates. No one takes responsibility. Yet everyone feels validated when they act out. Like, huh?

Anyway, thanks for hearing me out and for sharing your own thoughts as well. I'm really glad I watched this one. I'll watch it again sometime too. It was fun!

I love the way you broke this down as I had many of the same thoughts you expressed. I can't believe people thought he deserved it! I'm glad I hadn't seen those comments. No one deserves to be attacked just because you dislike them or something they did. I'm sorry but that kind of thinking is just wrong. You make yourself just as bad (and, more often worse) than that person when you choose to act out on your negative emotions.

I'm so glad you mentioned the ML's best friend not just going straight to him and asking him about it. That was driving me nuts so I'm happy to realize I wasn't the only one who found that odd.

I did rate it really high as I think it was really well-written. Literally, my only reason for not giving it a perfect score is only because it failed to show the disgruntled people coming to their senses and apologizing first. Had that happened and he accepted and shown the forgiveness he did in the end I'd have given it a perfect 10. It was one of the best and most satisfying dramas I've watched in a long time. It was wholesome and lovely and absolutely hilarious!

Person Kim Jae Uck
Just finished Crazy Love and I'm amazed at the fact that I now like this man even more than I already did. I sincerely didn't think it was possible for that to happen since I've been a hardcore fan of his for years now, but he was so silly and goofy in this (like he was in Her Private Life, but even more so) that I just fell even further down the rabbit hole of love for him! He's such an amazing actor. I'm so happy he looks so much healthier here than he did in Her Private Life too! He seems happier and I absolutely love it!

So the actual victim has to apologize to his attackers for the cycle to end. That's crap.

I'm not saying you're wrong at all. Please don't misunderstand. I totally get the message they are trying to relay and even agree with it. BUT, not with people who have taken things as far as these people have. I feel that the perpetrators should have realized and apologized first, just like the FL did when she came to her senses after seeing that guy die right in front of her. Once they all became aware of how much he'd changed they should have had the decency to feel ashamed and apologize. Even if they didn't apologize they should feel like shit when he's the one who comes apologizing to them. They were all mad because he wasn't compassionate towards them in the past, which is b.s.

This just feels like...let me think...Falling Into Your Smile - when the girl who sent the FL there razor blades and roaches and then pretended suicide when was caught. It's like making that FL apologize to that girl (which she was preparing to do even though she was the victim) but her man stepped in and stopped that crap, and rightfully so. People simply cannot behave like these people did. Period. It's why so many netizens never feel they're in the wrong for all the horrible things they do and say.

I finished the drama and still enjoyed it tremendously but in this day and age where people keep feeling justified in their shitty behavior, I feel like the message should have been sent in a much healthier way. I get that it was humorous and all that and definitely laughed my butt off (and love the ML actor even more than I already did in the past because of how silly he was in this one) but the message is very flawed and while mature adults like you and I (and most others will totally get the RIGHT message from the drama), there are others who will misconstrue the message to believe that if they terrorize someone because of whatever grievance they have with that person, that maybe that person will 'learn their lesson' if they terrorize them enough. Do you get what I mean?

Oh! A perfect example is the girl who tried to kill herself in front of him. They lady who posted those lies about her did so because she wouldn't refund her money even though it was her own lazy and bad ass kid that was really the one wasting it and at fault. Instead of punishing her child light she should have, she chose to attack the person who stood her ground and wouldn't issue the refund. That girl had every right to handle that request the way she did. But that lady instead terrorized her to the extent that she wanted to either kill herself or the person she chose to place the blame on (and, honestly, if we're going to keep it real, she made him the target of all her anger and resentment because she didn't know who started the rumours so she had no one else to hate for what was happening to her...but I digress). If she had known who started it all would it have been right for her to go apologize to that woman for not just issuing her the refund in the first place? Absolutely not. But that's the actual message the show is sending, not the nice healthy one they intended. What's said is that's exactly what happens in Korea, just to 'keep the peace'. The victims are bullied until they give in.

The drama spun it to show the ML's growth and all that, which is great. But if you really put yourself in his shoes what I just broke down is really what happened to him. I'm glad he became kinder and more compassionate towards others in the end, of course, but this message is terribly skewed.

Okay so I'm on ep 15 and as much as I've truly enjoyed this drama so far I now have one HUGE, GLARING issue with where this is headed in terms of the message it's sending. The ML had every right to handle every single one of the situations in the way he chose to at the time. These people all behaved terribly and did things that were straight up illegal and when he chose to have them face the music they had the gall to want to seek revenge?! Or your boss said you did a shitty job even though you tried your hardest so that gives you the right to behave so maliciously? What in everloving F?!

Everyone always has their reasons for doing something wrong. That doesn't make it right to do it and it doesn't mean that you have a right to demand leniency when you're caught, just because you feel justified in your actions. That just means you're not truly sorry! Then, because you didn't get the leniency you wanted you choose to actively attack him maliciously with several even trying to kill him?? What kind of B.S. is this?! You choose to act in a certain way knowing full well what you're risking at the time then when it's time to face that music because things didn't play out the way you wanted to, you get mad that they don't take pity on you? He doesn't owe these people shit! In fact, their actions after show he was damn right NOT to show them leniency!

Just because you hate someone it doesn't give you the right to attack, harass and even attempt to kill them! But now because of their horrible attitudes and behaviors he's going to apologize to them all? WTF?! He's been traumatized by their actions! HE almost DIED! Several times! Yet he's the one who's going to apologize? What did he do wrong with his ex? He simply told her they had no future. Because he doesn't want her anymore after the way she hurt him (knowing full well that for 12 years he didn't know why she did what she did) she's going to destroy him? Yet she wonders why he won't be with her. Not to mention the fact that the entire time they were together before he never knew she was an heiress. So she was lying to him all along!

This show was headed towards a perfect 10 for me until I realized where they were going with this. I'm all for forgiving people and giving second chances but I am against people demanding a second chance and ACTIVELY taking revenge when that chance isn't given. I'm also against holding on to hate and animosity as that shit is quite frankly exhausting and I'm too lazy to waste my time on someone I dislike. These people have the gall to hold on to their hate and act upon it. *smh* They were wrong in the first goddamn place! This is straight up bullying from a bunch of irresponsible people who have all failed to face their own poor decisions and shitty behavior. All of them!

Wait. Is that guy the ML is close to not his real brother? Is he just a close friend? I'm referring to the Deputy CEO.

I'm only on ep. 2 but I still can't help thinking he's the main culprit. Is it really true that he's not?

The other person I'm really suspicious of is that one Instructor who made the FL take the fall for her forgetting the flash drive for the presentation. She's obviously shady as hell.
