It amazes me when North-Americanized people choose to live and work in countries like China and Russia where information…
Notice you said "Oppa". Notice I said, the rest of the world. We're on the same page love. We'd definitely see two different ARMY's all of a sudden.
I seriously wish I were weathy. I would absolutely invest in funding Asian dramas and signing contracts with Asian entertainers (actors, directors, writers, performers...AND subbers!) to create ASIAN works for everyone to enjoy because I truly love them that much. I sincerely would do it. I'd protect the hell out of them too. In reality, it's not that I want to take it away from them but they need to earn them back. Treat them better then get your damn talent back. You have no idea how badly I wish to do that for them.
Ok, so the female lead said there's no one more incredible than a mom, and although it is somewhat true, it is…
OMG so many of you aren't paying close enough attention and overlooking things. She came back after she was cancer free. The cancer never once was brought up in that manner. Not at any time.
Also she never really her daughter. The father tells her that her mother secretly attended every single important event, just in disguise. He basically pretended like he didn't know. All because he knew how his own mother would react if she found out. The whole separation from the family was caused by HIS mother. She even snuck in to visit her when she could.
Also she clearly never meant anything against her father when she made that comment. They are ridiculously close so why would you even go there? She even said he did a great job playing both roles. She said that about having a mother because she was sad that she didn't have one. That was so basic and straightforward. She was also making sure her friend knew that her dream was a great one. How do you take that and make it a negative thing?
Wow. A puppy in a window? Really? She clearly says he was missing a mother like she was missing her daughter so she felt they were meant to be there for each other.
The mother blamed the director for airing a show that she agreed to act in and cost money time and labor from…
I think you misunderstood a couple of things. It wasn't the show the mother acted in that they were airing. It was an expose' about her possibly being a single mother and whether or not that was fact or fiction. The main reason she didn't want it aired was because they were directly involving the kids in their expose'.
Also she left because of her in-laws. They forced her out. That's why she says she didn't have a choice. That's why she secretly attended every performance, every game, every event, all in disguise. The father even said his mother (FL's grandmother) was wrong for what she did.
IMO the FATHER was wrong for allowing his mother to force her to leave her child behind. He shouldn't have allowed them to split up her family.
If you guys are unhappy with the poor content quality of a news article, commenting here won't do any good since…
This article isn't the problem. If people took the time to read it they'd see that the article is very much against this cancel-culture bs. It's also good that it was posted here because of articles like this lets the rest of the world see how these artists are being treated. The article that started it all is the problem, not this one. That article that started it all should never have even been written or stayed in the tabloids where it should be.
Because here's the thing. We also have tabloids here in the West. False articles are a constant. They get sued to all hell if the articles cause any actual damage to the person's career (as they should be) but more often than not we (the public) hear it, say oh wow, then move on. Why is it that such articles end up becoming headline news? The fact that reputable forums join the bandwagon is a large part of what makes the situation so much worse. If it remained just people running their mouths then so be it. But when major news companies start spreading the noise too it gets out of control. They should be severely punished for reporting inaccurate and/or misleading information. They should be shunned if they stray from reporting real news to reporting gossip.
Investors who pull contracts because of bullshit like this should also be shunned and vilified. It's fine for people to run their mouths about nonsense but, unless it's something serious or hasn't been clarified they should NOT be allowed to do a damn thing. Do they really think people would boycott their products forever simply because they chose to continue on with hiring an artist, for example, as their promoter? Just friggin' wait! THEY give these people that kind of power by tucking their damn tails.
This is a weapon used to control entertainers, so they don't gain too much power. It is the only thing that makes sense. A communist country being unable to control this situation and stop those behaviors? I call bullshit.
I mean, this shouldn't ruin shit. SHE'S the one who's cheating, not him. He's just along for the ride.
Who the hell cares!
The article clearly says it was an old picture before she was married. It boggles my mind even more is how these people just ignore the facts when the clarifications come out.
His personal life and work should be separated...They are doing this to celebs for clicks. I dont give a fk about…
This isn't a recent thing. Not even remotely. What's most disturbing is that instead of getting better it just continues to get worse. They should be ashamed at how they've been treating their entertainers while the entire world is watching.
I just don't get why this culture hasn't changed. American entertainers' lives are always in the news and tabloids too and a lot of it is scandalous but that doesn't affect their WORK. Unless you pull some crap like Chris Brown did with Rhianna back in the day or had some actual serious charges filed against you, the artists don't lose their entire careers. What's the goddamn point?! But anyway what I'm saying I don't get is, the fact that China is no longer living in a bubble and hasn't been for years. Because of the internet and especially social media all of Asia has now been exposed to the much healthier way to view and treat entertainers. Western ways aren't always better of course, but in this regard (how we treat our entertainers) we most definitely are. So why does it seem like nothing's changing? Why is the public literally used a weapon? Why can't they learn that this absolutely undignified and inhumane behavior needs to goddamn stop! It's sickening! How many artists need to kill themselves before this bullshit ends! There HAS to be some way to change this toxic culture.
I'll say this. Let Korean netziens try pulling this shit with a BTS member - EVER! The rest of the world will lose their shit and all hell will break loose. Rightly so!
Asian entertainers need to become more aware of their global presence now thanks to sites like Viki and Netflix and even YouTube and Amazon (I could go on and on). Maybe more of them should try getting signed internationally and writers and directors should try selling their works overseas. MAYBE If they start losing all of their talent to the rest of the world simply because of the possibility of being treated better, then maybe these disgusting netzians would learn their goddamn lesson.
Clearly those exchange students never heard of "stranger danger". Who follows some rando down into tunnels? It's obvious where this is going but my mind simply cannot comprehend why anyone would be so damn dense.
