Honestly, I think it's underrated now. Only thing I didn't like about it was the "jamaican wannabe" guy. (Edit:…
I noticed the "slow-burn-romance" tag and am wondering how slow we're talking about. Do you happen to remember how long it took for the main couple to get together?
Found this drama on one of the All time fave drama list here in MDL. Decided to check this out. Not really a fan…
I really want to check this one out and have visited this page several times in the past but the fact that Bai Yu is the ML has prevented me from doing so. It's driving me nuts! I only know him from Love O2O but I disliked him so much in that drama that just seeing his big ass chin would piss me off. So now I can't stand to see his face at all and he's the ML! UGH! I don't know if I can get past it.
Do you happen to remember when the leads got together? Any breakups? Unnecessary love-triangles?
Second time watching this and while I'm truly enjoying the show I'm finding that streaming girl even more annoying this time around - which says a lot because I found her to be truly immature my first time watching the series. Her constant whining and overall pathetic-ness irritates the crap out of me. I remember that she does improve and have some serious growth (I hope like hell that my memory is correct otherwise, kill me now!) later on though so I'm trying to be patient.
At least I knew going in that the FL's antics in the early episodes were gonna frustrate me but I'm certain she gets better. I believe I've already made it past the worst of it. But that other girl...WOW! That whiny voice she uses makes me want to smack the piss out of her.
I just started this and am on ep. 2 now but I have to say I'm really irritated with the FL's unprofessional approach…
I'm on ep. 20 now and I'm really annoyed by how flat out dumb the FL is about connecting the dots when all info is presented to her. It's not the first time either. Now it's figuring out the ex-girlfriend. Previously, meeting his father was the same. Just stupid.

Ep 4: Okay. Her attitude and lack of respect for quality and substance in her work and from others is really starting to grate on my nerves now. But, again, it's not enough to turn me off from watching or anything like that. I just need them to speed up the process of her personal growth.
On another note. I find it funny that the FL looks so much older than she is while the ML looks so much younger than he is. FL acts like she's 22 though, which I think may play a role in my annoyance with her. I feel like I'd be able to accept her immaturity more if she looked 22 too.
I just started this and am on ep. 2 now but I have to say I'm really irritated with the FL's unprofessional approach and attitude towards her work. I completely agree with the ML's comments about her. That article she wrote when trying to prove her point about meeting deadlines was pure trash. Who the hell wants to hear that nonsense when they're reading restaurant reviews? They want to know more about the actual dining experience - meals, ambience, service, etc. You can write it in such a way that it's not boring but still include the actual info people want to know. How dumb.
But! I will say that my annoyance is mild compared to many other dramas and it's clear that the problem should be addressed quickly so I'll say we're off to a decent start.
As someone who strictly avoids any book/movie/show that doesn't have a definite HEA, I watched this and will definitely…
"As someone who strictly avoids any book/movie/show that doesn't have a definite HEA." I'm the same! Which is why I find myself here scrolling through the comments to see if this one somehow has a HEA ending. You're awesome for posting this!
Have they gotten better subs? I won't watch until they do. Sometimes the subs make or break a show for me
Same! I've been waiting forever for better subs before I'll attempt watching this again. I think I'd actually enjoy this but the subs were completely ruining it for me.
Have you found it with good subs anywhere since you posted this?
I had the same reaction too. But then I thought isn’t this a natural reaction (for the character)? This can…
I completely get what you're saying and where you're coming from. That sentence was the only thing I disagreed with from your previous post tbh. I truly tried not to say anything about it but in the end I couldn't let it go. LOL!
Okay I finished...I really feel like the "downhill" comments are snowballed, bc it really wasn't that bad. Did…
Your comments here are really helpful. I'm searching for something to watch and somehow ended up here. Couldn't figure out if this might be something I'd enjoy but your comments did the trick in convincing me to give it a shot.
I really don't like that Junior Marshall Su character (I think that's his name). I'm referring to the SML's two buddies. I like the Pei one - he's calm, rational, professional and reasonable - but that other one is a major turnoff. So far he's the only character I actually dislike and his pursuit of that actress is the least interesting storyline for me so I've been skipping those scenes.
Everything else has been way better than expected though. This drama is surprisingly good!
Got a question. It's mainly just because of my preferences and the need to prepare myself mentally. Not because I'm not enjoying the show so far or anything. I'm only on ep. 3 now.
Could you tell me how long this whole super-closeness between the FL and SML lasts? I mean where they give off the impression of having deep romantic feelings for one another and/or are in a relationship every time they interact. Like when does it start becoming clear to others - especially the ML and, maybe more importantly, the SML - that their relationship is not THAT?
I don't even know if I'm explaining myself well.
It's just that I have a strong preference for dramas with clearcut feelings and chemistry between the male and female leads only. I prefer less 'interruptions' in the growth of the relationship between ML and FL characters. So this playing INto the 'relationship' between the FL and SML is, for me, like...hiccups that won't go away or an itch that can't be reached...or nails scratching on a blackboard.
Thanks for getting back to me!

I'd just like to know before I get started watching so I'm not completely thrown off since I assumed this was a romance because of the title.
