OH. MY. GOD. Your first sentence says it all. I LITERALLY said exactly the same thing. I didn’t even read what…
That absolutely makes sense! Explains everything. Well under those conditions they did a superb job. Really appreciate you taking the time to share that info. Truly. It’s been driving me nuts.
I feel the way I felt after GOT ending. The show started out so promising and then the conclusion was so rushed…
OH. MY. GOD. Your first sentence says it all. I LITERALLY said exactly the same thing. I didn’t even read what you said after! 😂
The last 8 episodes had too many huge flaws in the writing and directing. Lots of it was still outstanding but I feel like screenwriters need to read more novels or something to know how to properly close a story out without using cheap (and lazy) ass tricks to do so. Just let the story continue to flow and find it’s inevitable ending! Keep the rhythm you’ve set going. They could have kept the same number of episodes and instead of forcing the idea of dragging out this grand reveal let it play out naturally (don’t suddenly make them stupid) then spend more time on developing the final battle and confrontation. They stormed that castle and had that final fight with Wuyuan in what - 5 mins? That’s just so stupid!
GOT too. Shoulda let the author finish writing the damn books before getting damn screenwriters and directors involved. Tell a damn story properly!
Aite. I've done binge watching. I like the acting and the plot. But THREE things annoy me to the bone! First,…
THIS right here is exactly the comment I was looking for. Talk about hitting every nail right on the head! We both felt exactly the same things about this drama. Cathay google comment is totally something I’d say too! 😂😂🤣
What got on my last nerve? Ruining girls career because of something that trivial and this entire weird misunderstanding…
Left out how easily they forgave that one girl after how thoroughly she screwed them over. She needed to be called out way more than she was at any point in this drama. Had she not always pretended to be so innocent while doing shitty things I might have hated her less but she did things then expected people to just get over it and keep acting all happy honky dory. Uhhh no b!tch. I really needed the satisfaction of someone truly shoving her innocent act in her face and telling her to suck it. But alas they never did. At least they told her how selfish she was.
WHY is everyone saying ML is the one who ruined FL's entire career? Wasn't he just in charge of the lighting?…
She didn’t put all the blame on him. They rightfully blamed the ones that lied to and used them and treated them like trash.
But the fact remains that he did play a part in helping them screw her over - knowingly. It wasn’t done as a personal attack, no. But he knowingly disregarded those two girls in his attempt to help the one he thought he owed. He helped.
So yes she had every right to be angry and feel betrayed because, even though he didn’t do it to hurt her, the result was that he did. And you have to put yourself in her shoes. How rational and fair would you be when you first found out that he played a part - any part - in screwing you over. And without a doubt that’s what they all did - they screwed those girls over. I think most people these days have a fair understanding of how hellish being a trainee is and they do it for YEARS. It’s already hard enough to sit down and talk with management about not debuting but the WAY they did it was completely merciless.
After getting past the emotion of course she’d realize his part was secondary but what they did to those girls would have been completely traumatic and just the thought of someone you care about being linked to that in any way would cause you to feel an intense sense of betrayal - rational or not.
I first watched this a couple of years ago after it had just finished airing I believe. I remember enjoying it but not a darn thing else. Could someone please remind me - when does he first realize the mistaken identity situation? Also in what episode do they get together.
I’m sure the answers are already in here somewhere but trying to find them is tedious and then I get sucked into comments while I search - which I really don’t wanna do.
In one episode a lil misunderstanding..soon solved..U will enjoy it chemistry is fab
Yeah I got to that and feel the same way. He’s worse.
I just saw when they got together and I’m relieved but I’m really apprehensive about what he’s going to be like when he’s back in town and finds out. Doesn’t seem like the type to back off gracefully.

Thank you! I actually have a far more important question since she’s really getting on my nerves - when the heck does he put his foot down with that female doctor or when does she fall out of the picture? I’m loving everything so far but I’m on ep 11 and I really don’t want to see much more of her.
Did the 2FL and 2ML sleep together or not? Also in one scene the 2FL told the 2ML that she gave "love thirst"…
Actually no they didn’t. Not in the beginning. 2ML couldn’t go through with it and stopped himself in time. That’s when ML walked in and caught them. But like @Love Jinnie said they eventually got together in the end.
I dropped it at episode 9. Yu Da is an annoying caricature and forced on the viewers. I didn't want it. I didn't…
Oh and I’m rewatching this now and the draggy beginning episodes, Yu Da, the 2nd ML - all of it is waaaay less boring and frustrating this time, now that I understand the characters better and know things are about to pick up. I don’t remember the details but this show ended up becoming very addicting by the end. Could stop watching even to get some sleep! 😂
People said their opinions on Yu Da only from the begininning episodes. I kind of understand why they wouldn't…
I couldn’t STAND him my first time watching this but now that I’m rewatching it again he’s not nearly as bad as I remember him being. Some stuff I found completely annoying before I found funny or sweet now since I understand his personality better. I totally expected I’d be skipping his scenes this time around, at least in the beginning, but I haven’t had to yet and I’m already on ep 12.
I had felt the 1st 14 or so episodes had been a little slow the first time around too but it’s not nearly as bad this time. I never thought those episodes were bad, I just kept starting and stopping a lot and it felt like little progress was being made. This time too, I’m still stopping more often than I know I’ll be once things pick up. From then on it becomes so addictive I lose sleep!
Ok, just finished the drama and I really don't get why so many people thought it was dragged. I felt that it was…
It dragged in the beginning - like the 1st 13 or 14 episodes. Once they got together it was a whole different ballgame. Everything picked up, including the side stories. So much so that, yes, by the end your left wanting more.
So I think people may be generalizing or maybe didn’t keep watching until things picked up.

It picks up to an entirely different level right around episode 14/15 then stays good from there on. Yu Da also gets MUCH better and plays a significant role. You actually had exactly the same issues I did and I almost dropped it several times myself. I really wanted to know how the main couple would finally get together though so I told myself to stick it out until then. If I remember correctly I think that happened in ep 14?? Once that happened everything picked up from there including all the side stories. It definitely didn’t feel drawn out at all after that. Only thing was while Yu Da started showing signs of improvement as well right around then (ep 15 or so) it wasn’t consistent at first. I’d go from thinking okay he’s getting better, to reverting right back to wanting him to just disappear. But I think from around ep 17 or so (I think?) he remains likeable from then on and actually becomes one of the most philosophical characters of the drama.
I watched this months ago though so my timeline may not be 100% accurate. I just started rewatching. On ep 2 now.
Does someone want to explain why 8/9 dan players are in the same competition as 3/4 dan players???
Players of the same (or next level up) ranking compete against one another to increase their ranks. You earn points basically. They explain this pretty well in the drama actually.
