Why are there 3 ML? Is it a love triangle or something?and is there romance like normal couples?
I don’t know why I keep seeing comments on here that there is no love triangle. Yes there’s a love triangle. With the 3 protagonists. Both male protagonists like the female protagonist, while the female lead only ever has feelings for 1.
It’s there, but it’s so maturely handled by the 2nd male protagonist especially that it never becomes a negative thing - like typical, messy love triangles in dramas.
The 3rd person builds up hope and tries to get with the FL but not in ways that are overbearing or a turnoff. He just thought he stood a chance and backed off once he realized he never truly did at all.
Ok but where is the police in this drama and why does the prosecuter do all the investigation work? And the lawyer's…
The Korean justice system is set up completely different from the way it is in the US. Police strictly police. Prosecutors have assigned investigators to investigate cases and often directs the police in helping gather information if the volume of evidence is too large for them to do on their own. The police don’t lead the investigations. They gather evidence, yes, but the extent of it without authorization from the prosecutors is limited.
Also several of their laws and the ways laws are structured are very different from what we’re used to in the US. So the arguments they make and aspects of a case they focus on will also be very different.
All this is just to say keep in mind the cultural differences when weighing certain factors in Korean dramas. Not that I think they did a fantastic job in those areas in this drama of course, but it’s also not as bad as so many others I’ve seen.
I won't watch dramas with sad endings, but this show is my only exception to that rule. The end is so poetic that…
Literally the only reason I’ve refrained from watching this for so long is because I don’t watch dramas with sad endings. Your comment is the first to make me seriously reconsider giving it a chance anyway. I just don’t know though…
I am aware of why her mother is like that, but I did not feel sorry for her! She is selfish, the daughter has…
Yeah I was completely floored by how strong of an actor he is. I would have thought acting was his primary career. His talent for it is insane! This was my 3rd time watching and I was still overwhelmingly impressed by how powerful his acting is!
A bitch. Just look up their divorce. You know, the main leads were married in real life for a while. Just the way she handled things was a big no for me.
Gonna have to use an aave acronym for his guy, because he was completely SUS, and I cannot believe she went back…
Yeah it’s definitely a HUGE culture difference. But the fact that even their language is driven by seniority we’ve gotta know that shit’s engrained in them. To them seniors are more important than even children.
Guess it’s really a matter of taste. I love Gong Yoo so may be biased. But after watching the movie it made…
It has nothing to do with bias. The movie is just damn good! I don’t care what anyone says. If you don’t like zombie movies you shouldn’t watch or rate this because you won’t be doing so fairly. Out of all the zombie movies I’ve watched this is at least one of my all-time top 3, if not my absolute favorite. Such great acting and such an exciting story. I loved it. Watched it so many times now I’ve lost count.
Funny thing is I’ve watched Peninsular too but can’t even remember what that story was about. I remember thinking it wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t anything great. Definitely not on the same level as Train To Busan!
I’m watching this for the millionth time and STILL can’t understand why Cong Rong had to be the one to fly to Shanghai to get the dash cam footage. If it was the other intern’s case shouldn’t the other intern have been the one to go while Cong Rong went to court for the online loan case like she was supposed to? That piece of writing right there is the biggest flaw and my only major gripe with this drama. If she could trust the other girl to go to court on her behalf she sure as hell should have been able to trust her to do her job and get the footage. That girl was not acting as a friend when she suggested Cong Rong be the one to go and I really don’t like how they didn’t express how that was a manipulative and selfish move by that girl. She wanted to go to court with that attorney, she wanted to be the first to go to court since she was the one with the law degree, she also wanted to look good to that attorney while knowing that by going without permission there’d be a rift between him and Cong Rong, at a minimum. I get Cong Rong not thinking clearly enough to see all that but it would have made more sense for it to have been written exactly for what it was - a selfish move on that girl’s part.
By not showing it for what it was viewers are instead left feeling like that whole situation didn’t make any sense. No matter how much they tried to play it up as being an honorable act by Cong Rong.
I know that by the end of this they’re going to try to make that make Coach seem less despicable but I can’t find the words to express how much I dislike him. He is intentionally manipulating the fl just to use her. He’s consciously making his decisions and then acts like he cares about her or maybe even has feelings for her?? He also should have never been anything more than that girl’s personal trainer. To use the entire team the way he does…
As a former professional athlete I’m completely disgusted by both him and that spoiled bitch. The way she spoke and behaved towards the female coach is unheard of, especially in a professional team and I confidently make that broad statement. But what’s even more mind-boggling is this is a CHINESE drama! To say I was shocked by the level of disrespect doesn’t even come close to covering it. Like, what?!?!
But, yeah, that make coach I absolutely detest. For more than even the girl.

Unintentional Love
Boss & Me!
I think this was how I felt when I first saw BTS years ago. I MUST have more!!!
And who the hell do we beg to make sure there’s a season 2! The storyline’s definitely there.
Yeah this is definitely one of my favorite dramas now. Definitely!
