Yeah I know. I was just kidding. š Train to Busan is STILL awesome. Love that movie. But I do love this spin on Zombies too. There was a Western movie about zombies where the zombie and a regular girl fell in love and in the end he wasnāt a zombie anymore and through that they figured out how to cure all the other zombies. I donāt remember the name off the top of my head though. If you watch it youāll really feel badly for them too once you find out the reason they became zombies in the first place.
Iāve really been enjoying this EXCEPT for the FL. I canāt stand her character. Not at all. Iām only on episode 3 and until now I thought I could tolerate her but that whole scene where she ended up starting to work with him - from the time he opened the door - I only became more and more disgusted by her, to the point that Iām going to have to take a break from this for a while. There isnāt a single other thing I dislike about the drama so far but she alone completely turned me off.
An user named Ingrid inspired me to do this, so here are some timestamps/spoilers:
Love me some @Ingrid! Thanks for taking this up too. I ALWAYS hunt through comments for hers and get so disappointed when I donāt find one. Kudos to you.
Happy birthday!!! Iām literally at the last 10 mins of Count Your Lucky Stars and came on here to ā¤ļø you (I say that like youāll ever see this) and realized todayās your big 2-5!! Congrats!!!
in which ep main lead starts dating? any break up? if any then in which ep they get back together? and any annoying…
I was just reading the episode summaries on here and saw that it said that Jiang Yang was still trying to get with the ML even then and that he was caught in a delimma? Was he actually considering being with her? Please tell me he doesnāt consider it. Iām only on episode 23 now but Iām already pretty annoyed with how much he continues to let her get away with, even though Iām certain thereāll be some background story as to why heās that way with her. But if he has to still stop and think about it even then Iām not sure I wanna see that.
Do you remember? I realize itās been a while since you watched this.
You know, thereās something that I only just realized really annoys me about Chinese dramas. Why do they always make the 2nd ML who clearly has a thing for the FL beat around the bush. I knew that I always really liked and respected them a whole lot more when they made their feelings clear or straight out asked the FL out but I never realized how much I DISLIKED the other side of that, yet that other side is what we see 2/3 of the time. I somewhat understand it when itās clear the FL has no feelings for the 2ML, they know theyāll get shot down. But I honestly canāt see why by ep 4 this 2ML hasnāt just point blank asked her out. Now his behavior is just getting a bit creepy, even though I realize thatās not at all the intention.
I guess I feel like, in this particular case, if he wants to protect and take care of her the way he obviously intends to do no matter what, then why not ask her on a damn date? Thatās just dumb IMO. And annoying. And a bit of a turnoff.
And although Iām never one to get 2nd lead syndrome, I REALLY canāt get into it this time - not because heās a particularly bad guy or has any particularly shady behavior or anything - BUT he keeps taking credit for things he shouldnāt be and the more it happens the more Iām turned off by him. I kind of get the Nike dress thing - he thinks itās something he just doesnāt remember and sheās only specifically asked about it by name once then they were interrupted. But so many other things have happened that should have made him at least question what everyoneās referring to. He never asked why ML punched him, or asked FL more about what she was talking about from 10 years ago although it was clearly SUPER important to her. He never asked the host dude what he meant about modifying a previous design.
Those 2 things - taking credit for things not due and choosing to avoid looking for clarification in other things - all seem like heās doing it just to get into her good graces which I personally do find very sleazy.
So no, no 2LS for me once again. Love the actor. Turned off by the character.
I only just realized the leads here were also the leads in The Witch Part 1. I know Iām probably slow to catch that but I found it interesting. Great chemistry between them.
Havenāt even finished the 1st episode yet but Iām completely torn. I REALLY want to watch this for the zombies but Iām so sick of watching fucking toxic Korean society and adult behavior in dramas. A student looks like sheās been through hell and accuses a teacher but the cops arenāt called?! He isnāt IMMEDIATELY removed while the police investigate? Then when the teachers see the evidence that what she said was true they STILL donāt call the cops and continue to try to keep things quiet and handle it in-house? What the ever-loving fuck? ! Not to mention the teacher obviously seeing that one girl being tormented in class and doing nothing.
Iāve come to realize this kind of shit is only really written into Korean dramas and Iām just not feeling it anymore. Itās ruining the whole thing for me. Whatās more disturbing is how often this kind of behavior is written into these dramas. It makes it really hard to believe there isnāt some truth to it which would be a damn travesty.
It seems like most people on here who dislike it feel that way because theyāre comparing it to something else. For those of us who havenāt seen other versions or read the manga I think itās a pretty enjoyable drama. Starts off really slow (almost dropped it) but Iām glad I didnāt.
They actually do show her hands and face together while she played. Several times. And she was playing the right notes to at those times. Donāt think sheās anywhere near as good as Steven but she does know how to play the piano.
Ok so I stuck it out and right at about episode 7 it started picking up. Only 2 episodes left and Iām so glad…
Awww the ending was super adorable!
This drama ended up taking me completely by surprise. I liked it more and more as it went on. Everything that annoyed me didnāt last long or was addressed. Itās one of the best written Chinese romance dramas I can think of.
FLās acting (and all her āextraā) becomes tolerable until it completely disappears. That happens pretty quickly too. Violin dude picks up the annoying baton for a few episodes there but that goes away pretty quickly too.
For me at least itās definitely worth the watch. It doesnāt get draggy either.
IMO it's too silly. The acting of the FL is terrible, and the storyline isn't engaging. I dropped it at episode…

And I couldnāt agree more. Thatās one fine specimen of man right there!
Also Iām dying to know the reason behind their breakup. Spoil for me pleeeease!

I want to watch more but damn!
