Very disappointed, I gave a try because I like the genre….but there was nothing exciting about the story and…
I’m definitely feeling the same myself so far. I’ve only just started episode 10 though so I’m hoping something more happens soon because it really feels like I’m watching something for 12 & 13-year olds.
I’m on episode 5 and FL’s behavior is becoming more and more immature and annoying (the opposite of what I’m used to seeing). She wasn’t bad in the beginning. From the comments I’m hopeful this will change, but for now it’s a bit frustrating.
I love that we share the same first name though lol
I seriously hope the way they reflect the kindergartens care for kids is purely fictional and written to enhance the drama in the story rather than being based on any realities of what truly occurs in Korea, because that shit’s crazy. Just sayin’.
I’m so fricken angry. Feel like Game of Thrones all over again. Why did the crown prince have to die (or pretend to die)? That was him just giving up and telling himself it was the right thing to do. That was guilt and grief guiding him to make that stupid decision. 1) The king was dead before the baby was born so it wouldn’t be the crown prince (plus, in reality the queen’s child was her brother’s so there was no actual blood lineage anyway if she hadn’t miscarried, but I digress). 2) The baby was clearly not the queen’s. Why not use one of the dead babies and say the queen’s baby died and give that baby back to it’s mother? 3) Even if he did want to raise him to rule and allowed people to believe he was the queen’s child he could have become king and raised the child as his little brother while teaching him to rule right. He owed it to his people to stay alive and fix things. Killing himself (or pretending to be dead) was a total cop out. I’m so pissed. And hiding the truth was the worst mistake of them all. That’s how history ends up repeating itself. That plant still exists. All that was done by that crazy ass family needed to be known as lessons learned. To just sweep things under the rug just throws away all the sacrifices that were made.
I’m so damn mad!!! This show could have been perfect had they ended it correctly. There were so many better options. What a damn waste!
UPDATE:
See!!!! I finally watched the last 20 mins and I’m still pissed about how the crown prince handled the situation and as is shown, I was right for being pissed. But at least he didn’t just kill himself and leave it for others to clean up the mess left behind. At least he still did some portion of his duty. But he could have ruled while leaving it to those he trusted to do what he went on to do instead.
That last little bit at the end was cool though. And what’s up with the worm in the new king? Is he immune or something??
Horrible Drama with practice of cannibalism. The people eating human flesh is really the horrible thing I could…
Ummm…yeah. How could you not expect cannibalism in a zombie movie? And it clearly says it was a horror. Why watch a horror then complain about all the horror? Smh
Okay I’m almost at the end of ep 14 and I’m sorry but I still can’t feel sorry for JJ. He’s a fucking ass. I get that he has serious abandonment issues and clearly has a major inferiority complex and understand why after seeing how his family treats him but none of that justifies him always casting himself as a victim which he uses to validate him treating everyone around him like absolute shit. Of course no one would want to be around you, you dick!
Can someone please tell me which episode they get together and if they break up or have misunderstandings
I’m midway through ep 14 now so I’m not 100% certain about any breakups but so far there are none and I seriously doubt there will be, since they’ve stuck together through some pretty major issues so far. Getting together started in ep 10. As far as Hoo Joon is concerned I think that’s when they get together but they confirm and solidify that they’re in a relationship by ep 12. Hope this helps.
WOW! I’m just about to start watching this and thought I’d check to see what kind of feedback it received. I’ve never seen comments that are nonstop rave reviews for a drama like I see here! Looking forward to this one.
I wish this series pointed out that Ling Xiao should go to therapy before starting a romantic relationship. Now…
It also should have addressed his mother’s criminal negligence which led to her 1st daughter being killed. Oh and not once did anyone tell him that his sister’s death wasn’t his fault. Not that I can remember.
OMG! LOL! I just realized JianJian in high school with her hair cut like that and the way she does that weird little laugh makes me think of Edna from The Incredibles (animated movie). You know, the lady who makes the superhero suits? LOL! Totally cracks me up.
I love that we share the same first name though lol
