OMG I cried AGAIN when it ended; I didn’t want them to go away! First time this has ever happened to me in my entire life. I was shocked when I cried at the end the first time I watched this, but to cry again? I really really really really don’t want them to go! I want more! I’m so I love with these characters.

Omg I was totally gonna post the same thing but then episode 2 got a little better. Ep 1 was friggin ridiculous. Not only were they breaking every 3 mins or so (if that) but then they’d also replay like the last 30 of the when they resumed. Sooo annoying. I’m on ep 5 of my rewatch now and I realize it’s not so much that the editing got better but that I learned when and how much to ff so I wouldn’t lose my shit, otherwise there’s no way I would have ever been able to finish this drama in the first place and definitely wouldn’t be rewatching now either, no matter how good the story turned out to be.

Me too!!!! Well, the 1st time I watched it I struggled through the 1st 2 episodes (the 1st more than the 2nd but still both) but by the end I absolutely didn’t remember not liking anything.

Now that I’ve come back to rewatch I have to laugh at how badly done the first episode was but because I know I’ll completely forget about the issues later it doesn’t actually bother me to watch. The 1st episode is like watching a daytime soap opera. Completely crazy storylines and crappy as hell acting with over dramatic editing. It’s friggin hilarious!

I think it’s completely unfair to all of the other actors, cast and crew to ban an entire drama because of a ‘scandal’ with ONE actress. Ban her from making future works if you want but you shouldn’t punish everyone else along with her. And in China where any and every thing can become a scandal why bother risking acting in anything from now on if your work could eventually be banned through no fault of your own later on? Absolutely ludicrous. The whole ‘scandal’ with her was stupid enough but the way they’ve handled it is utter bullshit. Pardon my French. It’s been so long since this first aired, what’s the bloody point.

Sorry. Just had to get that off my chest. It’s been irking me. Now I’m all better. Lol!

And definitely no SLS in this drama. That foreign language studies dude was a complete asshole, and such a turnoff, from beginning to end. Bleh!

I also don’t know why guys think that ‘pursuing’ a girl (more like badgering) the way he did would ever be effective. It’s such a turnoff. In my experience it just makes you want nothing to do with the guy even more, just like it did with Bei Weiwei. Such creepy ass stalker behavior. Ugh!

FL’closest roommate is cute but extremely annoying. Extremely.

Just started rewatching this and I still can’t get over how anorexic FL is. It’s so disturbing to watch. Knowing she had to use surrogacy later on because she had fertility issues makes complete sense as that’s a common side effect of anorexia. I just wish fans and people around her would have done more to make her get help but it seems like this has been ongoing for several years now. It’s so sad. I’m sincerely hope we don’t hear of her passing away anytime soon. Looking forward to the day when we can see her looking healthy again.

I couldn’t agree more! I also felt the way she constantly criticized and discredited him in front of the child was completely unprofessional and a major turnoff. Not to mention having another man bond and spend so much time with the man’s child instead of teaching them how to bond and interact better as father and son. I’m making a sincere and conscious effort to try not to let these things bother me so much but it’s really difficult to do, especially since she keeps getting progressively worse (I’m on episode 11). The show is really cute otherwise but I’m liking her character less and less.

Thank you! I came on here to see if I was the only one who felt this way. I’m on episode 11 and I’m just liking her less and less. She treats ML so badly, constantly. It’s worse because she’s nice to absolutely everyone else and he’s always so good to her so he doesn’t deserve it.

Whew! It got better! The last 7-8 episodes were like watching a completely different show.

Thank goodness! It did get better.
The last 6-8 episodes made up for the first 24 or so. This wasn’t a phenomenal drama but the last few episodes made it cute. I can see a young crowd enjoying it.

So I need to correct myself. The 2 main Y4 boys are fun to watch. The other two…well it’s the one really, are just to friggin dumb. It’s one thing to be sheltered and unaware but they watched tv so they shouldn’t be completely clueless, yet they (rather, HE, Luo Ke) are dumb as rocks. Actually, Su Lie isn’t bad. He’s actually pretty adorable. He’s just really timid and has a horrible habit of going along with everything dumbass Luo Ke does. It would make me so happy if he’d just ditch Luo Ke but 28 episodes in I don’t get that kinda vibe from the show so I doubt that’ll happen.

Okay. I must not be watching the same show as everyone else. I’m on episode 26. How exactly can anyone say the bad guy isn’t really bad?? They try to make light of things but…um…he’s completely psycho.

I know there’s a whole plot twist coming and all that but it doesn’t change the fact that up to this point he’s an absolute sociopath.

Omg I’m almost at the end of episode 24 and I just don’t get all the hype. I really don’t. I’m almost forcing myself to keep going and have been trying to keep an open mind but this is so slow and dull. The so-called plot twists so far aren’t anything super dramatic or special and the story’s just lacking all around. My favorite thing about it are the Y4 boys. They’re sweet and fun to watch.

12 episodes left. Unless things take a major turn and things take off in these remaining episodes, this one’s gonna be a flop for me. I’m remaining hopeful though.
