After episode 8,Iiiii- i can't live my life without watching the rest
I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news. But ngl, I have a feeling we will have a couple or so episodes of goodness and then they'll hit us with a sad ending. I'm just going to make the most of thr scenes they give us and pray that they both survive until the end.
Although, I have an inkling that the King will ending dying in the end.
Ngl, I felt sooo relieved when he said that to Sang Hwa. I was concerned with how he would react once he founds…
He really will!! It's going to make they dynamic even more interesting. I think I'm going to hold off from watching today and the binge watch the next three episodes tomorrow.
I don't think he is gay (not to say there is anything wrong if he is). He seems more pansexual to me.
This also means that the King isn't necessarily gay which alot of people in the comments seem to have been convinced with. A gay person is primarily attracted to people of the same gender. And so far, we haven't been shown that he only likes men. All we know is that he likes Mong wo, who is a man, at least in the King's eyes.
Lastly, some people need to just accept the fact that we have no concrete reason to believe the King knows Mong wo's identity so he sees him as a man. Yes, it might not seem convincing to some because of Mong who's features, mannerisms etc. However, it's honestly not that hard to just accept that this how the King sees it and leave it as that. Not every show has to be 100% realistic. Sometimes, you just have to learn to suspend your disbelief and enjoy the show for what it is. It's really not a major thing to overlook.

That's alright. In simple terms, it means someone who is attracted to be people regardless of their gender.
In other words, the King has fallen in love with the person that Mongwo is, regardless of gender. Hence, the reveal of Mongwo being a woman wouldn't change his feelings for him/her.
OMG, this is geting ANGSTYY!!-i wonder what the king meant when he said he likes mongwo, if he said it in a romantic…
I wasn't too sure how to take the confession when watching it myself, however, based on the preview for the next episode, it seems the King meant "I like you" in a romantic manner.
