I said the same last week. Here I don't think it has much to do with Prince Khanin but the pairing of NuNew and Zee. It doesn't seem to really matter what series they are in, or what concert they perform in. Zee always takes the top or masculine role and NuNew takes the bottom or feminine role.

I don't know if this has anything to do with their personal preferences as humans as opposed to actors. And I don't know that we're ever going to see anything different than that between Zee and NuNew, no matter who they are playing. However I would like to see it be different in some BLs out there. The closest we seem to have right now is Charlie and Babe in Pit Babe.

Which is ridiculous since the king already knew this about Charan. He raised him and knows him a hell of a lot better than Khanin. I think the scene is there for US to know Charan better.

Babe wasn't cheating Babe was being raped, or at least Willy was attempting to rape him. But Babe was dumb to even go to the bath house to start with.

I thought the whole thing was creepy. Made my skin crawl. Even if Babe was curious to find out whether Willy had special powers or not I couldn't understand why he'd want to be in a place half naked with that guy even if he hadn't tried to rape him.

Well, that was creepy . . .

Yes Khanin had a better childhood, but he's also not invested in all of the palace garbage.

I don't even think he cares about the king's opinion of him being gay or being in love with Charan.

His motivation for the lie isn't fear. He doesn't care if he wins the contest or if bio daddy becomes king

Sounds like you know absolutely nothing about TNP. They haven't had the explicit sex scenes yet but both Zee and NuNew have said that their intimate scenes will blow Cutie Pie out of the water. I have no reason to believe that they are lying to us.

It's not up to producers of BL to tone down the sexual content just because it's a fantasy.

There is a whole genre of manga (Japanese comics) that are practically porn.

It's up to parents to monitor what their children watch or read not up to the producers of entertainment to censor themselves.

Did Khanin see Paytai get whipped? I don't recall seeing that.

That's because Khanin doesn't really care about winning the competition. His only objective is finding out what happened to his stepfather.

NuNew Just debuted platinum blonde hair and they haven't finished filming TNP yet. I wonder if he dyed it for some plot device in the series or if this is a wig. Inquiring minds want to know.

And that's great, but you aren't a little kid.

I'm just saying,:

1) BLs that are explicitly sexual aren't for children. Doesn't matter if they have a fantasy plot or not, and

2) In the BLs I've seen the romantic partners are always a dominant top and a submissive bottom, save for Pit Babe.

There are a lot of other scenarios in gay relationships just like there are in straight relationships, and it would be nice to see more of that.

Kids will try to get away with whatever they can. That's quite a bit different than their parents suggesting that they go and watch NC-17 content.

The problem I have with a lot of BL's is that they promote relationships among gay men that are more or less trying to replicate heterosexual relationships where one is more or less the woman and the other one is more or less the man.

Sure it represents a part of the community but by far not all of it.

Also take a look at the final episode 4/4 of Naughty Babe on YouTube. It was very modestly cut from the IQIYI version and even has a warning before you click on it. I wouldn't want my kid watching that.

Don't count on cut versions to censor NC 17 BL's for you.

There are plenty of BL's that are rated PG or PG-13 and I think those are much more suitable for kids.

The cut versions aren't much different. I watched Cutie Pie both on IQIYI and on YouTube. They are both fairly sexually explicit although not as much as other BLs I've seen.

And any kid who has a YouTube account without restrictions on it can see all the deleted scenes anyway including some that weren't actually in Cutie Pie but were included on the box set that some fans bought and then posted on YT.

I remember one deleted scene where it was was pretty clear that Kuea was engaged in anal intercourse with Lian.
