Also acting as if T.O.P., just for his celebrity, didn't have a normal family, with parents, to guide and direct him, and that he should have some different system for persecution than the rest of the South Korean citizenry. I watch Korean esports guys who have a major issue when in a gaming house where they have to be with 3 other American players who may legally smoke pot, but if these Koreans are discovered to participate, upon renewal of their visas, when returning home, if there's any suspicions on them they can be immediately forced to provide hair samples. No law enforcement, even in a state that restricts pot use, would be allowed such access without having actually CAUGHT them in the act or with possession. This is what most don't get. South Korea is strict about this law, and they don't care if you smoked in their country or outside their country, if you did the drug and they can test your hair that holds the evidence of it for a month, you will be found guilty, and you will receive jail time. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, agree with the laws, think pot is safe, or your status. Everyone is equal treated the same.

That means jailtime, plus having to do his 18 month conscription over, and essentially, with how bad South Koreans take drug abuse and their memories, think like Park Bom, last a long time plus GD's case, his career is most likely going to be over for a long time because of this. Yoo Seung Ho have earned unbelieable praise from the S.Korea entertainment industry for years as child actors for shows like The Moon that Embraces the Sun, Missing You, Arang and the Magistrate, Operation Proposal, & Dong Yi, where their child actor roles are even considered the BEST part of the drama, especially Missing You which was panned as crap after Yoo Jin Goo & Kim So Hyun no longer appeared. Yeo Jin Goo, since 2008, has won numerous child/rookie/best actor awards for no less than 6 different dramas. Kim So Hyun, since 2012, has won numerous child/rookie/best actress awards for 5 different dramas. Kim Yoo Jung, since 2006, has won numerous child/rookie/best actress awards for 8 different dramas. Yoo Seung Ho, since 2002, has won child/rookie/best actor awards in 6 different dramas.
These 4 actors have had long, successful, and praiseworthy careers, that many adult actors would die to have their current resumes. None of these actors are "idols". They earned their status and praise from their dedication to their craft and their hard work, much of which came from their interactions together within the dramas I mentioned above, so much so, that many fans of their acting have been waiting years for them to grow up and begin acting together in adult roles.

She's been on hiatus from college ever since, and even acted along side Kim Yoo Jung in Secret Door. She was in 10 episodes playing the older version of Kim Yoo Jung's character, Seo Ji-dam. Kim Yoo Jung, who was in 13 of the episodes, won 22nd SBS Drama Awards, New Star Award in 2014 for her part...and Yoon So Hee??? My point, there's a marked difference that no one can deny between an idol like "L", who has played in 10 different dramas since 2011 and only been nominated once and never won anything for his acting skills versus the likes of Yoo Seung Ho & Kim So Hyun.
As for their age difference, Kim So Hyun, this past year, already had one of her first female ADULT roles along side an idol, Ok Taec Yeon [28], in Bring It On, Ghost with numerous deep kissing scenes. She's a year older now and working with a 23 year old in a drama that will likely be no different, in terms of romance, than what happened between Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung in Love in the Moonlight. She's already crossed over the ADULT romantic lead threshold when she did Bring It On, Ghost. You cannot put the genie back in the bottle, and why would anyone want to stunt these great actors development and maturing their careers. Yoo Seung Ho went into the military at 18 just for this reason, to come back as an adult and get the juicy main lead roles. The girls are no different....

The cast is all within the same age range, and I think that PHJ had a bit of a say in this process after all that went done for the drama version. It's not like they're high schoolers. They're supposed to be early to mid-20s so it's not difficult for **actors** to dress themselves up, make-up or otherwise, to look that age considering they're only between the ages of 28-33. It's not like it's a 10 year age difference in what they're supposed to be..AND they are all around the same age so I personally think it will work.
27 episodes in; the acting is wooden; I feel no chemistry from the leads; and it's going into the typical trope of 'he pursues her, his family doesn't like her, her family & his family have poverty issues; he sleeps with her before marriage; rich girl wants him; rich girl gets parents to force him to marry her by hanging his debt over his head; he's not honest with poor girl.." at this point I can see In So getting screwed over, and lots of back and forth...but the acting is not worth going through the melodrama and with 120 episodes it's gonna be a long ride of angst.
