This lakorn is a shame for a 2014 production. The romanticization of raping woman is bad. I am not a self-righteous and prude person. I am not easily shocked. But let me tell you. That's just not right. I have seen other lakorns with rape that didn't shock me and where I could cheer for the lead's romance because we saw their development and everything wasn't only abuse. But right here. It is only abuse, torture. There is no love, no passion. Let me tell you in France, this guy would go to jail and it would be such a scandal. But in Thailand, it seems that if you want a girl, you just rape her and she wil willingly marry you. NO. JUST NO. Me Too movement should help thai women rather than hollywood actresses using the casting couch.
Let's be honest. the only interest of this drama is the acting. The plot is way too previsible. Yaya is the best actress I have seen in a lakorn. Mark was great but he doesn't reach to Ken's level. They had a great chemestry. I liked Piak as well, she was annoying but really cute. I understood her. If my husband was so close to a girl this pretty, I would become unsecure as well. I loved P Suki as well and wished they developped him more. Anyways, this drama was great for the acting, not really for the plot. It was way too long. They could have made shorter episodes, there was too much filler. I fastforwarded a lot. I'd say if you hesitate to watch it, do it. But only for the leads chemistry and superb acting. But don't expect amazing production, camera work, soundtrack. It was the second lakorn I began after watching full house thai. I had previously dropped it once but today I decided to give it another try seing all the praises it got. So I binge-watched it. I am honestly not crazy about this drama like everyone. In fact, I had a better time watching full house even though the acting doesn't kiss up to mark and yaya's. But, I am still amazed by Yaya's prestation. This girl has everything. Beauty, talent, charism. So for the raw acting the leads delivered, I'd give this drama a 9.5. Because the acting was incredible. So, the actors deserve recognition for their work even if they deserve a better plot. But I want to do them justice.

Omg you explained my total thoughts. I totally agree with you. I havr never been to korea but I am just fed up with the way they describe woman as so prude that they are afraid of a kiss. But if they want to describe a real love story, I am sorry but it needs skinship. I’m quite surprised to hear you say that when you went to korea people kissed in the streets because I’ve heard it was taboo to do love demonstrations on public. I’m like you, I not asking for some porn stuff, I don’t like it. I just want for once to see the couple being credible. We have some beautiful western romance for instance in a walk to remember where the love is deep, we can see the passion in their kiss. In thai dramas, this is the worst. All that to say that there is nothing bothering me by pairing Kim Yoo Jung with an older actor because we know that it will be a cute platonic relationship. So, there will be no skinship and if we are happy to see a kiss it may be a really soft one like in let’s fight ghost.
