Ep 22 - for a supposedly good detective, how could she conclude he killed her entire family from hearing his voice alone? Like, how huge were their age gap? He should also be a kid like her. So so dumb.
kinda disappointed with The Rise of Ning but so far loving "Are you the one?". In fact, I've dropped this before right at 1st ep, because I felt like the amnesia trope happened so fast we don't have a background, but I set aside my prejudices and I'm glad before I'm now at ep 15 and can't wait for more. ML and FL are so endearing, FL is so mature, and less petty fights.
I started this for Li Xian, but I guess I'm not yet ready to go back to modern C-dramas but I already love Zhuang Yan 😄 got to put this on hold until I'm in the mood for modern stuff
Just started this and excellent use of lighting right at the beginning. None of those they only have one candle but the room is brighter than my future, haha. Love the ambient glow and use of colors.
I feel bad that I'm dropping this at ep 49 because I love CY and YZ but the plot got to the point that I couldn't care less what happened next. L&R is better in storytelling than Samsara.

I always liked mortal arcs in xanxia, they're better if done correctly. Also, Youmm has loads of screentime in mortal arc, really wished they casted someone younger anf better-looking so we can have serious competition because so far, I'm getting annoyed seeing him.

Finally starting this along with Vendetta of An and good lord, Cheng Yi ALWAYS suffer in his dramas? He's either dead or alive, coughing up blood or punishing himself to death. Does he has a drama where he suffers less? 😭
Currently watching this on Youko and the 3rd ep is weirdly dubbed in English that even if I edit the language to Mandarin, its still in English, the dub is so bad, hopefully the ep 4 is back to Mandarin bc I don't want to drop this.
