I saw some bts and they really went on location. They filmed a lot of their scenes in Gansu, known for deserts and mountains. Since the trees were yellow, I'm assuming they shot it during autumn. I'm not sure if they were gingko trees but it was filmed at Chaohu Forest Farm situated beside a lake.

The look of FL's maid while JX was 'apologizing', haha, she was ready to claw his face. FL is so lucky to have loyal and capable maids.

I think in later episodes, Mrs Zuo targeted TingYun to make the Fu family feel how they treated Mrs Zuo. Frankly, her anger is so misplaced, like I could understand if she killed grandma, but to target TingYun, basically an innocent bystander, was just so odd.

Ep 7 - Yake is so funny, she's so insecure even if Ting Yun had zero interest to Jing Xiu, she can have that poster boy of a rich kid without any redeeming qualities except for his name. Those two were match made in hell, really. I'm just happy that our ML and FL are doing so fine!
