Something to watch at least once..
Watching this requires a lot of patience. Tried once before and failed. When I saw season 2, I've decided to give it another try. It was still very challenging, but this time I've succeeded. The plot of the story was nothing new, dominant ML, bubbly FL, corporate family drama, lies and deception, love triangle. I think the only thing of substance was with the last two or three episodes.
The love story was ok, not that spectacular but just ok. What I don't like is their kissing scenes. It feels so awkward, like teenagers just learning how to kiss. Well at least they gave us at least a happy ending.

First of all, I love this kind of plot (crime/forensics drama) with a hint of mystery and a budding romance.Acting wise: I like the fact that even though I'm not familiar with any of the actors and haven't seen them in any other drama, I think they did good.
Story wise: some plots were unnecessary. Some were really far fetch and scientifically unrealistic. But there are still some that made their mark on my mind. Like, the over worked mom who drowned in a fish tank. Another one would be the radio active stone, a father killed by his ex-wife. And then the almost cult like serial killings.
Musically speaking: it was so funny to hear musical scoring that sounds a lot like the old west movies.

I was hooked with the show. Heavy on revenge and deception theme, drama on every turn. And that's the only reason why it ain't on my fav list, it's just too heavy.I love how it started on what I thought a conglomerate drama / familial drama turned to crime while watching a romance bloom out of it all. Can't help but fall in love with the ML and wish for a Yong Pal for ourselves.
For me it's a good watch, not much for rewatching though..
Good story..
Good actors..

This one feels like I'm watching "Survivor" tv series or eating mixed nuts. You try to sample everything until you got fed up with everything. I think the creator of the show is overly ambitious..Started off with an almost paranormal mystery feels. Then it turned into a survival drama. Then turned into a Sci-Fi crime drama.
ML is searching for justice for his wife, FL is searching for the truth about her mother. Another character was a mother which depended with a man all her life with a teenage daughter with a lot of angst. Another one, is a married couple on the verge of divorce. See.. mixed nuts right?

Pure entertainment: for easy/relaxed viewing.
Love this one. At first, the love hate relationship of the ML and FL was mildly annoying. But as the story unfolds, with all the character development and plot twists and turns, it became really endearing.Liked that these was written with a strong FL and a pretty ML for a change. FL was a well respected and feared general, while ML was a bit of a scoundrel and a parasite of the royal family. She love him anyway. Even with ML's shallow personality, he learned to understand the hard exterior of FL and love her anyway.
Pure entertainment: easy/relaxed viewing, RomCom with a right dose of political intrigues, heart tugging moments and action packed fight scenes.
Love the onscreen chemistry of the cast. Good OST too. Although the series is a bit too long, I wouldn't mind rewatching this one.

Heavy on the political/tactical drama..
To be honest, I can't remember when was the last time I watched almost as much as I've skipped. This was poorly written and in my opinion a very dragging show. The ML written as an Uber romantic, who's willing to throw everything away for love. FL was written as an uber war tactician but an idiot when it comes to men. Honestly her character is a bit hard to love.
The only reason I finished watching the show was to see if they've a happy ending. Thankfully, they did.
Would I rewatch this? Maybe not ever.

Convoluted plot lines, only saved by the happy ending
Convoluted plot lines. Intertwined lives with too many coincidences . Villains sprout almost always out of nowhere that seems to cheat death over and over again. The ML and FL annoyed me most of the time, specially at the first half of the show. FL was supposedly a very strong lady but she came off too childish in her action and a bit useless during fight scenes.
The romantic vibes from the secondary pair which is way cuter and sweeter than the lead characters.
It's so cute to see a bandit falls so innocently in love with his newly acquired wife and his princess wife to fully accepts and love him back..

Cliche done right with some uniqueness to make it sweeter
Watched this show a couple of times now, can't believe I'm writing the review just now.I love the fact that this show may seem cliche in some aspects, but some parts are so simple and refreshingly unique.
The actors have good on screen chemistry , actually, all of them gave their roles justice. Their characters grew on me. From childhood friends to dominant boss to falling in love. What's not to like?
The show also had really good OST, in fact I've even search for it online.

A very long journey.. with a very confusing ending
Started out as very complex story, sweet and fun even. Then it became a very long journey. But at around the middle part of the show, it's complexity turned into a very convoluted story with a very confusing ending. One thing this show is not boring.. This one's packed with well written subplots. So we'll written that it made the development of the supporting characters lovable. I even like the relationship they had, they're the "Ride or Die" kind.. They'll never leave a friend in need.
Would I rewatch this? Maybe not for a long while.

A fantasy drama for kids and kids at heart..
I don't know why exactly, but I really do love this drama. It's not the first mermaid fantasy drama I've seen but this is my favorite.Maybe because it has a little bit of everything. Started with a little bit of romance in a fantasy setting, riddled with moral lessons basically because it's made with kids in mind.
If the fantasy part is removed, love, family and friends remained constant. As well as jealousy, selfishness and greed..
This maybe made for kids, but is definitely well written and the actors were great specially the kid mermaid. Good OST too.

Better than the first season..
When I managed to finish season 1, despite all faults, I got attached with Doldam Hospital and it's medical staff. Then I was curious with the young female doctor who faints or fall asleep everytime she had to go to the O.R. I thought it was absurd really, a surgeon who had panic attacks at the surgery room..
I still think, Doctor John is way better than this one. But I think this is better than the first season. It's just that its too tiresome to have the same antagonist all throughout these two seasons.
I think this is more emotionally charged than the first season. Would I rewatch it? Maybe not. But I don't regret watching it either.

A perfect balance entertainment of romance, crime/mystery, family drama, comedy.
A perfect balance entertainment of romance, crime/mystery, family drama, comedy.A well casted show, from the lead cast to the supporting characters.. The plot of the story started as if it was like any other kind of RomCom. In this one, girl meets boy and liked him on the spot. Pursued and annoyed him relentlessly until they became friends.
Both of them, bruised and battered by the past but together they've overcome every obstacles, doubts, fears and insecurities.
It was heart warming too see the relationship between the brothers, the relationship between mother and daughter, even the friendships around the ML and FL. The side stories of the supporting characters were well written, it didn't feel like a bunch of unsubstantial stories pierced together just to create a bigger picture. This one is really worth watching..

I don't agree with the message of the story..
The strong message of the story is that you can do anything you want in the guise of the big picture. You can kill, cheat, lie and betray anyone and everyone, even your own family and loved ones.At first, it was the typical story of young students searching for some kind of justice. Their adventures and misadventures resulted to good friendships and finding true love.
The plot of the story was really convoluted with lots of surprising twist and turns. The writers weren't even afraid of killing main characters.
Acting wise, I think actors in supporting roles was way better than the main characters. The romance level of this is one is a bit mediocre. I think its an OK show. Did I finish it? -yes. Did it made me laugh or cry? -no. Would I re watch it? -maybe not.

Good to watch if you're looking for something light.
Entertaining even though I was half annoyed most of the time while watching the show, specially at the first half of the show. The ML was almost pathetically weak, not just physically but also personality wise. FL was rude borderline cruel. Some of the episodes feels like filler episode, I was tempted to skip it.
The character development was something to look forward.. The romance level of the show was not that high. To be honest I like the other couples better than the lead characters. All this said, there's still fun parts here there.
Another thing about the show, all that what we thought was random cases were all significant and connected.

Entertaining with convoluted plots everywhere
It would be too boring to call this a Sci-Fi, because it didn't have much science on it. Entertaining but a bit illogical to take seriously.I was really confused at first. I thought ML's wife was having an affair, because her acting conveys that, which isn't the case.
Then came the issue of switched face/identity. It was presented to the wife and of course it was unbelievable . But shouldn't the first step checking for fingerprints? Anyway, these were the first few convoluted plots of the story.
Still, I managed to finish the whole series. Would I rewatch it though, maybe not.
