Tagged as a RomCom but overdosed with tragedy
To be honest, I've just watched these because of the actors.. They're good. The concept of the show was good too, but its a bit poorly written and messy. It was tagged as a RomCom but overdosed with tragedy. Anyway, its still entertaining to watch. The exploits/misadventures of the young cops were fun but sometimes mind numbing to watch. They were each given a good back story and enough space for character development. So, my interest with the show grew as their characters developed.
The portrayal of corruption and betrayal in line of cops, prosecution and even politicians were scary though.
Crime/mystery/psychological drama with a bit of comic relief on the side
I love this one. Story started off some kind of highschool love story with a touch of paranormal. Then it turned into a crime/mystery/psychological drama with a of comic relief on the side. At first i thought there's not much on screen chemistry between the ML and the FL. But as the story progresses, I grew attached to the characters.
I also like that part that the FL was not just a pretty face. Yes she was bruised by the experiences she had while she was still young, but she was never weak or too broken..
Same with the ML who also had a rough childhood. A little rough around the edges but he still managed to be a young man with a good moral structure.
With sixteen episodes, the writers managed to give almost everyone a good backstory. Showing viewers who's who or what happened to the characters development. And oh, it has a happy ending. So, I'm happy. Good story, good actors, good OST..
Promised a supposedly a good adventure but..
This is an awful waste of time. I watched this because the actors looks good on screen and the premise of the show looks like a really good adventure. Most episodes were draggy, I almost dropped the show multiple times. The effects used were not that good, considering that this was released only a few years back.
All those challenges, all those deaths, all that, for that mediocre ending.. I honestly mourn for all those deaths. With shows this long, there should at least have a happy ending to make all the death and sacrifices worth it..
Would I recommend the show? Maybe not. Would I consider a re-watch? Definitely never..
10/10 easy if it had a bit different ending. I'm a sucker for a happy ending, always.
Binge watched this one over night. I was hooked from the first episode up to the end. I just wish it had a better ending.Story wise, its really a good crime/mystery drama with just a hint of a budding romance. I like that the writers took time to make each characters feels real or at least a bit relatable. They're complex characters with different facets. For example, the ML adopted father, who's a cold blooded assassin, save ML and took care of him. At his last breath all he wanted for his adopted son is to live a normal life.
I like the cast. I love the onscreen chemistry of the ML and FL. Its just sad that there wasn't enough of their love story.
Not that remarkable but entertaining enough to watch.
Love in so many forms were showcased in this show. From a platonic / fraternal love to romantic love of the the main leads. To the almost unrequited love of the supporting characters. Even a bit of familial love between the parents and their kids were shown here.Typical first love story, but I found realistic enough with their mundane issues. It just proves that not all heartbreaks turns a person bitter and with evil persona.
I like the actors, their pretty entertaining to watch. Good OST.
What I dont like much was the fact that this 24 episodes could've been cut in half and it wouldn't matter much, too much filler scenes for my liking.
This is like AWAKEN v2.0
I was hooked from the very first episode. This one has the same vibe as the TV series AWAKEN, promising plot with a frustrating ending.Lots of mystery/crime fighting within the show. What I didn't expect was the mellow romantic parts, but I really appreciate it. It gave a little heart to the show.
I also like the cast, lots of familiar faces. Good acting and good OST too.
Now, what I don't like is the fact the villains are almost impossible to kill. The good guys are always thwarted, fooled, betrayed and most of the time killed. Why did the characters suddenly turned stupid?
The final episode calls for a second season. If there's none, then the bad guys won and it has a lousy ending.
Would I rewatch it, maybe not. But I'm interested if ever there's a second season.
Entertaining show. Not perfectly written but it's beautifully executed
Entertaining show.. Took us with their journey. From a shared traumatic experience to some kind of unrequited love. From hero worship to reality. Then came acceptance followed by unconditional love. The formula of the show was really nothing new but it works well. It has fair amount of intrigue, mystery, crime, paranormal, comedy and of course, romance.
The cast did good and gave their characters justice. Every single time that the ML shed tears, it really tugs at my heart strings. .OST is ok too..
Too short to give me a good scare.. too short to get attached to the characters..
Cast were great. Zombies looks good too. Story wise, there's not much to it. An unknown outbreak swept through the nation. Our ML and FL were residents of neighboring complex, both were just trying to survive the zombie outbreak. And that's all there is. No explanation on how, why or what caused the outbreak. After their action/fight sequence w/ the zombies, they were lucky enough to be saved.
I felt like the story was too short. It didn't gave me a heart pumping sensation. Unlike other zombie flicks. Anyway, it's still entertaining enough to watch. Would I rewatch this? Maybe not intentionally..
Plenty of fight scenes and love triangles for everyone to watch
Pretty interesting concept, with not so well written script. Even from the first episode, plenty of fight scenes to enjoy. But then it became draggy and made me skipped some parts. Some scenes were carelessly written, it appears to be added just for the sake of conflict. Which made some scenes look just cruel. Just like the death of one of the rounin Leal, she went through too much to die just like that.
Also the use of love triangle was a bit overused. First is with the previous batch of rounin, then it had two love triangle with the current batch.
Then the revelations at the last few episodes, what was that for anyway?
Anyway, its still entertaining to watch..
Not another zombie story..
I thought this was some kind of zombie stories.First episode reminds us to beware of strangers, not all good deeds are returned.
Second episode was way better than the first one. Very timely, I think. Because due to COVID-19, many many people/workers were misplaced or out of jobs. Due to constant lock-down people ventured to online selling of all kind of things. The story is both sad and scary at the same time..
Third is too short to really make an impact and fourth installment is just plain none sense.
One out of four shorts is not good at all. Wasted time.
Nothing profound in here. Just a story of love and forgiveness.
Saw this show about to air on free tv, decided to watch it on WeTV instead. It looks interesting..Watched the first five episode, then skipped to episode 10 and watched onwards. At first it looks so clearcut, an immortal waiting and searching for her mate and from the look of things, looks like she found him. Or did she really?
As the story progresses, mysteries were solved and questions were answered. It's always good to see a love so great that can overcome anything, even time..
A tear jerker RomCom you must watch.
Love this show. I thought this is just another RomCom to enjoy. But I was wrong. I never expected it to be a tear jerker show. The plot of the story is simple. A child was lost in the woods. He grew up with wolves hense the title . He was happy, wild and free. He was the prince of wolf.
Then he met the FL, everything changes when wolves finds their mates. She was a fun, loving daughter who's sick but not weak.
Most of the actors looks familiar already to me. They did a very good acting portraying their roles. I've never seen eating rice as a heart breaking, tear jerking moment. That's how good it is.
This show has very good OST too.
If I'm to put something on the negative column, maybe it would be the unrealistic ability of the characters to accept and forgive others. Their almost saint like in that department.
75% comedic fiction, 20% medical drama, can't we have at least 5% romance please
I think this is my fav japanese show. Some may not be medically accurate but it's realistic enough to be believable. I don't have to lose some IQ to enjoy the show. The show even tried to incorporate what it was like for the medical frontliners during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was a wise decision.
I love the way they made the comedic parts, it's feels like watching a real time anime. Just like how the show always ends with Doctor X either eating lots of meat or enjoying a dip at the public bath house.
The show maybe 75% comedic fiction, 20% medical drama, but I would really like it to have at least 5% romance.
I like it enough, to willingly watch another season.
Pretty entertaining to watch. ML and FL with good chemistry
Classic RomCom, fun and entertaining to watch with a bit of family drama to add flavour to the show. The part where they discovered how their pasts were intertwined was nothing new but I thinks it's done beautifully. Both the ML and FL suffers some kind of trauma.
With ML, he's a chef with no sense of taste. While with FL, her so called "ballooning man" syndrome represents most of the populations young women dilemma regarding physical appearance and weigh gain.
They help heal each others pain. Together, they learn to forgive and to love. I also like the friends they had, so loyal to a point.
All in all, it might not have a profound story but it's still worth watching.
Love the concept, I hate the endless flashback
The first two episodes were really appealing to me. Cool tech/gadgets, action sequence and a promising romance between cool geek chick lady boss and a hot mysterious big boss with a soft and loyal heart. The succeeding episodes were really draggy, like for example, the rivalry between the ML and the 2nd ML which goes on and on. I almost thought it would last the entire show. Glad it didn't. They even became good friends again on the latter part of the show.
By episode 20, I watched only the recap. If something interesting happened, then I watch the previous episode. I only resume watching the whole thing by episode 34 until the end.
Glad I didn't drop the show.. I liked the main characters a lot. What I don't like was the overly used flashback. At first it was cute then it became annoyingly repeatative.
