Some BL fans are a pain in the ass. They look like robots asking all the time everywhere: "Is that BL? Is that…
Absolutely!! “The Gifted" instantly became a favorite Thai series of mine only after a few episodes! I was so disappointed that many didn't give it a try because there isn't any BL storyline. The "Project S" series are amazing too!! I've only seen "Side by Side" so far, but it was crazy good! I love BL shows, but they aren't the only good shows. I wish people would give Thai shows & movies outside of BL more chances.
What? Where the heck did you get that? BL stands for "Boys Love". It doesn't have to start with straight characters,…
You said this wasn't a BL. So I looked up the definition to prove that this is indeed a BL. I never said it was a yaoi. Yaoi is manga & anime anyways. Either way, this is a BL.
Thanks for telling us it's not BL.Now I don't need to waste time watching it.
Your loss. It's a fantastic show with an amazing cast. Imagine watching Pluem's other series specifically for his gay storyline but refusing to support him in his other work when it's straight. I can't relate 'cause I'm not that shallow.
What? Where the heck did you get that? BL stands for "Boys Love". It doesn't have to start with straight characters,…
This is the literal definition, word for word, that comes up when I search "boys love": a genre of fiction depicting romantic relationships between two men
There's nothing said about them having to be straight. It's just usually common because it adds to the story.
I put this show off for such a long time & finally got to watching it last night & let me tell you, I freaking loved it!! I wish the channel officially subbed season two like they did season one because I'm having a hard time finding good subs for it ): Many complain that the comedy doesn't translate as well as it did in s1 because most of the subs are really bad.
This is NOT BL because the characters are actually gay. BL is about straight guys who just happen to fall in love…
What? Where the heck did you get that? BL stands for "Boys Love". It doesn't have to start with straight characters, though thats just usually how they do. As long as the male characters fall in love, it doesn't matter their initial sexuality, it'll be a BL.
I wish y'all would stop fetishizing gay people. "I won't watch this if it isn't BL." It's not. But even with it not being a BL, this is an amazing series that deserves a lot of viewers & great ratings. & this is all coming from someone who enjoys watching BLs, but doesn't solely watch them because I know it'll keep me from seeing so really good shows. If you must fetishize the gay community, do it silently please. I'm not straight myself, but I'm tired of reading comments complaining about straight shows & straight couples. If a show is good, let it do well.
I can't believe that Tanai like both Runway and Guide in same time.Guide's girlfriends Yaimai storyline seems…
I don't think Tanai completely knows how he feels about Guide yet, so I wouldn't really say he likes both of them. Guide too seems confused about it all, so I don't think their feelings are developed enough to say that they like each other romantically yet.
I'm surprised so many people are getting bored with this one. I can see why people find it slow, but I find it quite interesting, to the point where I don't really mind the slow pacing. However I'll truthfully say I'm more interested in the side ships (as I usually am with shows). I agree with most that I'm not very fond of Tanai's pushiness towards Runway. & I'm also not super big on how possessive Dream is. & finally, if Yim gets raped, then they better treat it as a serious topic rather than romanticize it or play it off as no big deal like most Thai dramas seem to do. I don't think Yim ends up with that dude seeing as there's another actor that seems to secretly promote with them & the actor of this episode doesn't. All in all, I will admit there are some flaws, as there are with all shows. But I'm hopeful it'll turn out as a good series. (:
He got raped and this was informed before that he was going to get raped. I know it is wrong but he is getting…
I don't think it's supposed to be him who gets on a relationship with Yim. There are photos on their Instagrams where there's another actor, along with him being in some of the Facebook lives they do. He isn't promoted as the main cast like the other actors, but he's included in other things like pics & lives. & where the main actors seem to usually be placed near their partner in the show, this actor gets placed near Ellfa (Yim). It's not the same actor of the previous episode so I'm 98% sure he won't be a major character.
Guys if this show goes BL tell me coz I'll start watching this...looks promising
I don't really seeing it go BL anytime soon. However, I still highly recommend it! I've already cried about four times & I've only seen 6 episodes so far lol It's honestly a really amazing series so far.
My theory is tee really tonmai father; tee cheated with tonmai and thannam mother. Thats probably why Tonmai whole…
I very highly doubt this theory, but if it's true, that'd be one huge mess! But really, that doesn't seem that likely. I honestly think the dad blames himself for her death & that's why he's so obsessed with her. Tonmai is a reminder that Thannam is gone, that's why I think he ignores him. From what I've gathered, the mom isn't Thannam's real mom. Her & Tonmai are half siblings.
Lazy Subbed hasn't been subbing this series, JayBL has. I'm sure she will, but it might take her some time seeing as she's been very busy the past few weeks.
Because he used to say he couldn't be bought when he refused presents for his mother and sister but then, after…
I see where you're coming from. But I honestly think Can was trying to figure things out. Even at the end of this episode, he cried when Tin left. He surely has feelings for him but hasn't completely figured them out. I agree that at this point, they aren't the best match, but I think the need work. I wouldn't say Can doesn't deserve Tin. But I think he needs to understand both his & Tin's feelings before going any further. Which is why I am okay with the decision of Can rejecting him right now.
I think you and I are the only two people who did not mind that. The first scene and the last scene were very…
Oh, I'm totally with you. I wish TinCan ended a bit different, but as you said, it makes sense. Plus not everything can have a happy ending. With KengNo, I am & have always been against how their story began. I was hoping they'd change it in the series, but I had much doubt they would. If anything, they should've had one of the other couples from the novels rather than the one that begins from rape. TumTar seemed like it had a lot of potential. I'm obviously against rape, but their story was using it to show the pain & trauma & didn't romanticize it. (However they definitely could have done without the sexual harassment.) But all in all, I too love this series. Aside from "The Gifted", it's one of my favorite Thai series.
Because he used to say he couldn't be bought when he refused presents for his mother and sister but then, after…
Well if you wanna go down that route, Tin's in the wrong too. Tin asked for them & was throwing the fact that he did things for Can in his face & needed payment. Can was clearly conflicted each time, but did so because Tin wanted it. Tin literally asked him "Do you want me to be happy?" & Can nodded genuinely & then Tin asked for another kiss. If Tin felt led on, it was more his fault than Can's.
Also, idk why so many people hate Can. He's clearly confused. The whole time of him spending time with Tin, he was falling for him, but since he's never had feelings for a guy before, he doesn't understand it. I don't think he led him on in the slightest. He very clearly told Tin that he didn't know how he felt about him in episode 13. I'm not even close to being fluent in Thai, so I'm not 100% sure why he rejected Tin, but I think it's because he's still confused & don't want to give Tin any faulse hope. Though slightly annoying, Can is a really good guy. He cares about others deeply. I think he just needs to sort out his feelings.
How y'all gonna complain that they gave the last episode to the other couples?? AePete literally had 13 episodes filled with their progression of their relationship. This last episode was needed for the other couples to give closure. Especially seeing as two of the couples had the most minimum amount of screen time despite the fact that they promote in interviews as the main cast. I know they're dropping another, longer version, but I hope they still give more scenes to the other couples.
Either way, this is a BL.

She's so pretty!
Then I noticed the "This is an old T-shirt" in small print & laughed again lmao
