Lol, what a wild take. If he really did do what he is accused of & gets convicted, then he deserves no support.
As someone who was taken advantage of by a celebrity, I know those things happen & it’s much more common for a celeb to be inappropriate with someone than for someone else to lie about it. I spent years living with the after effects of the things that happened to me while the guy whom I even spoke out about roams free to live his life.
IF this guy did what he did, then he deserves every bit of consequences. He deserves so support or love from fans.
I can’t stand the “what if the other person is a crazy liar” debate. Only 5-8% accusations are made up. I have hella proof on my situation but am still dubbed as a liar from many people with unhealthy parasocial relationships with the celebrity. Because of my experience & knowing that it’s much more probable that he did what he’s accused of rather than the other person being a liar, I feel that your original comment is a wild take. You don’t know this man & the fact that you’re offering support even during a time of heavy accusations is a very “nutcase” thing to do. IF Kenshin is convicted, then that’s it. Idgaf if he lost everything he had, that would be his fault. & if you continue to support him, then that says a lot about you & your perception of reality.
I have a few more episodes left but I gotta say, I do enjoy this series a bit more than the original. It’s been a while since I watched the first but I feel like I remember feeling that I couldn’t see Noh’s feelings much. Like it was obvious Phun liked him, but I didn’t see it much on Noh’s end. In this version, I can feel it much more. You can see that Noh truly does care very much for Phun. As I said, I still have a few episodes left but I’m losing hope for Earn & Pete. I was really hoping they’d do more with their pairing as I liked them a lot in the 2014 version but I’m barely getting any crumbs from them :( But I will say that I feel the other pairings get more development than the first version which is nice. Oh, one last thing, I know many are very taken aback by their ages, which I get. But this is a coming of age series & I think they do well with that. I definitely appreciate that there’s nothing sexual, but I wouldn’t find anything wrong with a light & sweet kiss scene. Obviously not like making out or anything but I find nothing wrong with showing the love between two teens in a very light way. However, even without any true kiss scenes so far, I still feel they did a great job showing the feelings between Phun & Noh.
Man, I gotta reread the webtoon because it’s been ages & I remember almost nothing from it, & truthfully, I think I’m mixing up other webtoon with it when I try to remember it. Is the series much different?
Man, I haven’t read this webtoon in forever so honestly I feel like I was going into the series blind lol I do remember I enjoyed the webtoon & so far, the series definitely has me hooked!
It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize this is an omegaverse theme. Not until I read these comments actually. I was confused and figured he was just using alpha in the cringe way many people do nowadays lmao I’m on episode 3 now though, it’s an alright series so far. Hoping it doesn’t get really strange as I’m not typically an omegaverse fan and usually stay away from those stories.
It’s been years since I first watched this movie & I always come back to it every so often. I must’ve watched it over 10 times! It will always be my favorite Korean film & the number one movie I recommend to others who are fine with subtitles & thriller/suspense movies!!
I started off really enjoying this drama but I will say that the “because your parent is bad and hurt our family, we can’t be together” angst trope annoys me. I have two episodes left so I’m sure things will work themselves out, but I just always got annoyed with how much they (all shows with this trope) pin their trauma on the other lead like it was their fault. In this one, the Sim family had a crap dad but they didn’t turn out like him and no one blamed them for his doing. So why do it to Dongjin? He’s not his mom. I get it’s for conflict purposes but it really frustrates me. Unless he was helping his mom or backing her up in her crap decisions, they should cut him some slack. (P.s. If Jun & Hyeseong don’t end up together, I’ll really rage! They’re the only ones keeping me on this drama now lol)
Man, I just finished “High School Return of a Gangster” & was really liking him in it until I read what he did in real life. This guy is trash & shouldn’t be getting roles! There are far better older male actors who are better deserving to get the roles this scum is.
I love the positive differences like the lack of severe bullying & a less toxic ML. Don’t get me wrong, I adore…
Also, I loved the cameos!! Wish Tsukasa had a second appearance at the end & I really wish Tsukushi had a cameo as well. I believe she could have added a lot. How cute would it have been if they showed how similar their love stories were by having her appear?! Very! She could have been a perfect example to show why Haruto shouldn’t have given up even with their different backgrounds & when others are against them. But at the same time, I still do adore Haruto not seeing the similarities & thriving to be like the great Tsukasa Domyoji. (Poor Akira being basically an afterthought yet again. All he gets is a name mention 😭)
I started this drama not long after it came out but got busy with life, put it on hold & forgot about it. Just…
I love the positive differences like the lack of severe bullying & a less toxic ML. Don’t get me wrong, I adore HYD, it was the drama that got me into Asian dramas a decade ago. However, the more rewatches I have of HYD, the more I see how outdated it is. HNH takes a lot of that negativity down. I also love how similar but different Haruto is to Tsukasa. They’re both immature (sometimes in a good child-like pure way) with a lot of growth & find what’s truly important to them. But Haruto’s character lacks differently than Tsukasa. Tsukasa is too violent & impulsive for his own good whereas Haruto is too much of a coward & can only throw a punch if luck is on his side. Making Tsukasa Haruto’s idol was a cute touch. & having Haruto thrive to be like Tsukasa but not seeing the similarities, only the differences is something I like. His oblivion to that when everyone else who knows Tsukasa can see it is cute. However, there are things I do dislike in this series. I feel Oto is very wishy-washy. She battles her feelings until the very last minute of the series & arguably makes it worse for the people around her. I love the actress but the character frustrated me at times. The ending felt very odd & rushed because of how she refused to leave Tenma until he had to (literally) push her to Haruto. It was just weird. I think they were setting up for another season? Not sure. I never finished the manga, I kept losing my spot lol, so I’m not sure if that’s how the mange ends of if there was more. Also, Megumi might be the character I felt the saddest for. Airi was great & had a great redemption in my opinion but Megumi was just the sweetest soul nearly the whole series. I wanted to dislike her because of the position she was set in between the main leads, but I just couldn’t. All in all, lovely series, but needed a little work. If they were following the manga completely, I get it. But then that just means that I feel the manga needed some work too lol. The last few episodes felt draggy in a way yet rushed at the same time. I’d give a 7/10.

Trying to rewatch because i think i was way too judgemental the first time but nope i was correct....this shii…
I like this show & understand the hype but Ter stays giving my whiplash with his mood changes lol I get they’re just high school students but damn man, use your words!
