Idgaf about the male lead until the past 2 episodes now I'm on knees. That's my man over there. When Zhen refused to search for the brother because it's only been half a day but Yu DIDN'T HESITATE! When she started the fire but he chosw to be her alibi. He is already loyal to his future wife OMFG.
And Jiang Si... I didn't expect her to take revenge so quickly and for it to escalate like this. Like this show is galloping through the events. I like it so far even though the acting isn't strongest thing about this show.
I support Hunagyan Tiantian and I look forward to this but I'm hoping the romance is subtle otherwise, I won't be able to watch. I assume there will be a actress switch up at some point? I like her in Perfect Match despite the fact she had a romance story but it was in the form of banter and fighting. I was so glad there wasn't any actual kiss scene but the actress is still too young to act as a romance interest. I do get she is going to be 18 soon but like I'm hoping she wouldn't pick roles were she (or the company she is in) isn't exploiting her for fame or money.
Part 2 had many great scenes but equally as many or even more frustrating scenes that made me wanna question why I'm continuing. Like it felt pointless to watch by the end. I really would say that Cheng Yi and Zhang Zi saved this show from rock bottoming. Like sorry, I didn't know your game Cheng Yi?
Zhang Zi was adorable here and loved her voice manipulation throughout the show. Made her stand out as an actress.
Yes she's very good and very beautiful too! I hope they give her more projects!
She is. I was saddened when she was cursed out during TTEOTM for being a villain. So many people were calling her ugly and other derogatory terms but at least know she gets main roles.
I'm going to be watching this soon purely because the actress is heavily underrated. I seen her in TTEOTM, her cameo role in Love Fantasy and five episodes of FOF and that was enough for me to deem her as underrated and amazing. Can't wait to start this.
The first 4 episodes were very promising and I love the similar vibe to The Double which was my favorite drama…
I'm thinking of starting around 10 or 15 episodes because I sometimes want to engage with the community about the drama. The best thing about Cdrama is the fact there is an episode either 5-6-7 a week so there is no long breaks and you don't have to worry about waiting MULITIPLE weeks to finish the drama. Or when you get busy for like 2-3 days that means there are 2-3 more episodes to binge so it's perfect and well paced.
Oh my god, I'm getting a little annoyed at Zi Qi. The devil king literally loved her so much, he REVIVED HER. The guy she loves doesn't give a shit about her. Like he knew she was gone but didn't even bother resurrecting her but instead she chose to be with him. The devil king didn't even want her to die and refused to do anything that harms her yet her loyalty remained with them one who does? Her stupidity is an evil in itself. She is okay with everything articous he did so I'm not surprised she is okay with dying for a lame man like that he loves power more than her.
i don't remember if drama fans had any arguments back then but i do know that novel fans did. apparently, the…
Thank you so much for the information. You know what? Fans had the right but I'm glad the drama is giving a different pov on what would have happened if she ended up with the male lead. I just finished part 1, I'll see how part 2 goes.
It really isn't. Gave the drama a 6.5 BEFORE the scandal. See my review why.
I gave this drama a 5 before the scandal and I won't change it because of this scandal but honestly, it was subpar drama. It's kinda crazy how in Kdrama, there will always be a mediocre shows that come outs once a year that people LOVE to death.
Never thought I would say this but never liked the guy. No, I didn't get any weird feelings, just I never liked him for no reason. Never got the hype around him. I'm so glad everyone realized now that Kim Ji Won carried as usual.
I'm currently watching this and omg, the second male lead is so green flag and perfect. I believe when this was airing, a lot of people probably started fights and preferred him over the male lead. Understandable. I still like the male lead and I think it's interesting how the romance didn't feel as the usual male leads that will sacrifice anything for love.
I wasn't a huge fan of how the drama undermines natural talent and tried to force the message that only studying…
Not sure why you think this undermines natural talent? Sometimes it's fine to not think too deep about every show's message. For me, education is a privilege not everyone can have and not studying doesn't mean you will fail in life. However,I still enjoyed the message because it's still a good message even if it only scratched the surface. It doesn't need to apply to everyone like a glove because everyone have unique experience. Study Group did NOT speak to me or my experience but I like the show.
Also Mob Psycho showed you parallel between him and his brother (Ritsu) and also the blond guy (Teruki). Teruki originally used the talent the way you hoped he would then he started to see himself as special before he got humbled by Mob. Ritsu the same thing happened, he didn't have natural talent, envied and was confused on why his brother wasn't using his talents the way he intended. Then his brother got the talent and got himself into trouble. Different people used their powers differently. Mob just wanted to be a normal boy. That's the whole premise of the show. Other shows have protagonist who uses their powers for different reasons like One Punch Man (written by the same author as Mob Psycho) and it used the same gimmick but Saitama's goal was to be a hero until he eventually reached that point but he became too powerful he is became indifferent. The circumstances changed him and that what it is with each person. You see it with the other heroes and what they each use their powers for. Not everyone wants to be special. Some people have special talents AND USE THEM while some don't care about it. It's life.
dramas used to be 16 eps, they are now sooo short. yes we might have another season in the future but still...…
I like them shorter. It's so much cleaner and less filler in-between. The only thing I don't like is the fact they are shorter AND need multiple seasons... Like might as well post all the episodes.
I was already obssessed when he played a villain. Shen Yu Rong was a work of art. I'm happy to see him pull of…
I liked villains in general so it was never affecting me how I view the actors. And lmao not you saying this about Princess Wanning and Fang Feu but so true. This is how they imagine him to be
Exactly we forgot that liang yong qi played villan character before...I think if they can't cast as main lead…
Saw someone say they can't watch this because of him because the villain role ruined it for them 😠even though he was the best character here . I'm going to be watching some clips outside of this drama. Where do you guys see this?
I already miss my brother-in-laws gang. I miss how they always betray each other. I miss how they always come together for their wives. I miss when one of them pass the ordeal, they all start being on the same page. Gonna miss my gang 😞
Exactly we forgot that liang yong qi played villan character before...I think if they can't cast as main lead…
Everyone and their momma hated him in The Double. He was good. He definitely should be a second lead couple in another drama. Something like The Starry Love where he is not the rejected love interest but an actual love interest!

The switch up from the emperor on the last episode was crazy but royal family toxicity and cruelty is very apparent in every drama.
