Just started it. Wasn't sure how to feel about it during the first 15-20 minutes but story eventually picked up by the end of the episode. Seen two episodes so far and I love LOVE Zhu Yan already. What a cheeky demon. His relationship with the female lead was funny. Had a bit of chemistry with everyone. The way Commander Zhou treats him like shit 😠it's hilarious because you know Zhu Yan can actually kill everyone if he wanted too. Interesting dynamic and for a show that is so serious, and the cinematography is more darker, muted, dull to give off a certain type of storytelling just to have an unexpected comedy to it took me aback. I'm kinda invested now.

I would suggest to follow Jules_Arders advice. They gave a really great advice to help you dissociate him from his previous role. I understand you. It doesn't help that he looks the exact with that same hair/fashion as The Double so you should watch interviews, tiktoks, clips of him outside of his acting roles and take a big break between the shows so you can fully immerse in dramas in case this happened to you again with different actors or this actor again.

Li Haode, Li Haode, I'm afraid she already stole his heart. It's already obvious he found some of her antics cute before but he wasn't willing to accept her so I doubt it was going to go anywhere. What really brings her beauty is her honesty. She could have listened to her fifth sister and taken advantage of him but she chose to honestly tell him the truth, knowing it will put her in a great disadvantage. This is a big deal for someone like him. He is such a righteous and honest person. He is all about justice. What she did is exactly what he needs! A rarity he won't find easily. As a couple, they are suitable for each other.
I also can't wait to see her solve bigger cases. What sets her apart from her sisters is her determination.

Like honestly, Zhang She mom dying trying to seek for justice broke my heart and I wonder what these sons were thinking? Did they think the mothers won't worry if they were life and death situation? It's disappointing but also realistic. A man never thinks about the sacrifices a mother does because they never assume she will this far for him, her son. Men, men, men ... They really do take it for granted but I'll give him enough grace to know he was ignorant and never thought it would go that far...
And finally Li Shouhou arc ends. Thank god he kneeled down and joined the kneeling brother-in-laws. Now he should go beg his step mom too for all the pain and anguish he did to her. I'm happy to see the eldest daughter getting a chance to smile and enjoy a cute romance even though the arc was overshadowed by the amount of schemes and grievance.
Anyway, Seeing all the siblings just finally having happy moments... I love all my girlies! And I just found out who the 4th brother-in-law is... Omg.. he seems very... Intimidating?????!!! He is in court? He gets a chance to speak with his majesty???? (I didn't look at the poster guys and I always skip opening because they spoil the whole show). Am actually shocked this is the guy who will marry the 4th sister because she kinda childish? She is more wise than the 5th and she pulls through in certain moments but this feels like a very unexpected pairing?? I guess I have to watch and see how it will develop. Maybe her innocence will soften his heart.
What the hell just happened??? Everything is in ruins? I feel so sad for DYX mom. "Being blind, I couldn't even take my own life." Just for this alone I can't forgive DYX! He needs a few slaps before he gets accepted back.
