Nothing to restore. LYQ was magnificent in the Double.
True true.

No scene between the 4th couple. They closing all their plotlines and finalizing Leshan and Qiongnu marriage.
Welcome. You will see them but it's not a big scene. Just a final scene of everyone having their final moments before they end the show.

This drama made me love Wang Xing Yue more and completely restored Liang Yong Qi from his villainous role in the Double. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Liang Yong Qi acting career now. That's how much I was obsessed with him here. If he showed up in another drama, I'll be screaming like I'm his dedicated fangirl from 5 years ago. He was so impressive here.

As someone said, the plot was good till ep 33, even tough I really like PM.
I feel like perfect match is that drama that makes your thoughts go up and down, up and down. It's not necessarily a bad writing directions because at the end of the day, they been clear that they are flawed human being. Always making mistakes. Make the show interesting but also frustrating sometimes.

My thoughts on ep 36

I finally finished it. What a chaotic ride from start to end. Like he kidnapped her during her wedding day, she kidnapped him back. He became part of the kneeling brother-in-laws. This is sooooo Perfect Match LMAO it reminds me of the 3rd sister marriage day. Crazy how they brought back some of the old themes with each sister and tied everything together.

And I also love how Yang Xian was willing to give her away to a good man as long as it meant keeping her safe. I wished to see Yang Xian getting appreciated more than this but the story had to come to an end. It must have been so much fun filming this because there were so many outrageous plotlines. I'm going to MISS my brother-in-laws gang!

My favourite couple ranking:

1st goes to 4th Couple, Shen and Haode.
2nd goes to fifth couple, Leshan and Yang Xian.
3rd goes to 1st couple, DYX and Shouhua.
4th goes to the 3rd couple, Master Chai and Kangning. (Master Chai have a soft place in my heart)
And 5th goes to Fuhui being a fun sister to watch & Qiongnu and She
6th
7th
8th

..
2346844749949595th the 2nd brother-in-law. I can excuse murder but I draw the line at cheating on your wife.

Either way, fun ride. Amazing acting from everyone.

My thoughts in ep 35

Well, I'm crying again. Guess this will be my legacy now but big brother return was emotional. I'm surprised none of the older sister were able to recognise him except the third sister. I'm assuming she was really close to him. I'm sure they cut off a lot of scenes but it was an emotional scene. There is only one episode left. I'm going to miss this crazy ride.

I cant agree that it was a prank. From what i see Yang Xian genuinely tried hard. He was not a businessman and…
It wasn't a prank but I don't know what else to call that sabotage move they did. You are right, he can't be a business man overnight. They tried so hard to make him "grow up". They honestly looked like gold diggers then trying to abandon a family member just because he didn't have wealth. However, it wasn't money that they were after but rather the ability to not have their daughter struggle and face future challenges being with him. They were supposed to help each other in sickness and regardless of wealth but in that moment, it's clear they were reverting to their old ways of ensuring their survival over everyone else.

And yes, Master Chai and Kangning tested him and planned things behind their backs. I was going to be happy that he wanted to help his brother but in the end, it was kind of a scheme. This drama very consistent with their plotline. The whole thing is very conflicting but in the end, I know he return to Leshan.

Frankly I don't like this part. Like, he is family now, how can you treat him this way? This is a disapointed…
Agree. He is family now so even if he doesn't know how to deal with the business, they should support him but they probably didn't have the means to support his entire family and couldn't wait for him to grow fast enough so they chose the harshest way to deal with it. They really have such high standards.

My thoughts on ep 34

I'm so attached to Yang Xian, I was already crying from seeing him chop wood... And started crying even MORE over that cruel prank they played against Yang Xian. Them acting innocent after sabotaging him was genuinely cruel. This is one of the few times I genuinely felt disappointed.

Despite my disappointment, I understood why they did what they did. Today, it's them scamming him off his money, tomorrow it might be someone else. A valuable & wise lesson to teach him what life is about. If he can't pick himself up then who will? He needs to find a solution for himself knowing he can't "beg for money" and learn what it means to "struggle in poverty". He is no longer a boy but a man now. He needs to carry the burden. If this broke him then he is not fit to led a business or a family. I still cried and cursed the Li Family for it Lmao

Leshan is the best (although some of the beatings were a bit over the top).
She is the best. The beatings could have been toned down but they were aiming for the chaotic, over the top plotline and I think since the actress is young, they couldn't add more romantic scenes so they filled it with her beating everyone up.

I am not reading all the comments as I still have 5 more episodes to watch tonight. But I can see you are all…
The first few episodes did unreversible damage. The amount of people that rated it so lowly now it will be hard to bring up the ratings. At most, we might be able to bring it up to 8.3 but I'm not so sure anymore.

My thoughts on ep 33

Omg, I'm going to cry. Mama Li came for her little daughter and little son and his broke ass family too. They are already her family so it was without questions she will help them. My hearttttttt, I'm so touched by her act.

And one of the greatest moment is when Yang Xian was about to ran into the fire to save his wife. That scene was so romantic. Every since I found out the actress of Leshan is 17 year old, I knew we won't be getting much "romance" during her arc. It was going to be just sweet moment and plot driven but that moment was really romantic. It's the subtle act of sacrifice. Leshan already accepted him as her husband every since she came to defend him. She just couldn't get over the kidnapping part that's why she wanted to make things difficult but in the end, she wants him to win.

After a while I got tired of her beating him up. It was too much.
It was supposed to be funny but I can see how you see it like a torture scene.

My thoughts on ep 32

I thought it was funny he will accept ANYONE from the family Li to stay with him 😂 he really wanted that protection but you know what? Leshan might be harsh but I feel like that's exactly what's setting this family straight. For once, he actually fighting through his fears and putting himself out there. His reputation is ruined from all the mistreatment he faced so Leshan is pushing him towards being better. He is used to being a victim because he never wins no matter what

That performance scene, warmed my heart! It was adorable. Asking her to play the drums for him while he does his dance.... So cute. It's a shame it got ruined it because I really wanted to see them put a performance together.

one thing i wanna ask before i start this drama.. is the ml a red flag
There are 4 male leads. How should I say this? You know that saying, "Green aura with flies?" That means you stink but if I recoined that term, I would say the male leads are green flags with flies. They do something that makes you confused, that raise a red flag but they completely green flag, will put their lives on the LINE for the wives, will defend their wives, they will do ANYTHING for her, they always on standby for their wives. This is the drama .

My thoughts on ep 31

"You don't seem so repulsive anymore." He smiled as if she complimented him 😭 I'm crying. he is a lost cause but I guess for Leshan, that is a compliment.

Anyway, the Yang family?? Garbage. Trash. All of them. They way they all decided to gang up on Yang Xian and genuinely believed he would do an articous CRIME.... They didn't even give him the benefit of the doubt.... And they call themselves his family? Disgusting? They don't even believe him when he says he didn't do it, they straight up cornered him. Leshan pulled through and defended her man's honor but most importantly, MAMA LI CAME TO THE RESCUSE AND WHIPPED THAT GUY'S BEHIND. She gave them a LESSON that went through one ear and left the other unfortunately. The father didn't gaf about his son.

I need more Mama Li and Yang Xian. That's literally her baby boy.

Okay, I thught you blamed her but I'm glad to hear you understand to a certain degree. And it's Understandable. Violence can be uncomfortable for a lot of people, I understand your point completely.
