Agree, to me he can only do either deadpan face or exaggerating everything but nothing in between. ALM was my…
You guys are making me scared lol. I can't handle bad acting. I've seen only few episodes of Ruler Of the Mask and yeah, it was pretty bad. But I'm hoping this would fine cuz the plot seems like fluffy and THAT'S WHAT I NEED RIGHT NOW!
My only issue is the dynamic with the Danbam people. I feel like they just gave them short stories and then act…
You are right. Although a lot are using her being a sociopath as a justification on why she is intolerant. As a result, it becomes not her fault. People are ignoring the fact she is not learning because she learned from it but rather she is learning because her love have certain expectations and she wants to meet up to that expectation. Had the person she loved been a bit intolerant who is willing to fire people, she might have not changed at all.
And I do also like her but I can't handle it (for some odd reason) when people ignore the faults and overpraise a character while simultaneously always finding faults on the disliked character and overcritizing them. There have to be balance somewhere at least for me.
They pulled a Hollywood move there. Although I do understand why Tony doesn't have enough screentime. He is not an experienced actor for what I've so far. However, the actress who plays the transgender role is good so it really shows how poorly done it is.

It felt like they only casted Toni for the diversity. They are also overglorifying the female lead but a lot of people enjoy her so I think I'm the only one who have a problem with that.
I don't know why, but im not feeling this drama so much. I just want to finish it because the chairman irks me…
My only issue is the dynamic with the Danbam people. I feel like they just gave them short stories and then act like their input is not important. They should at least be involved with helping the business grow or the revenge... like the transgender was a great cook for 5 minutes then they moved on. Not much is happening with her. I also don't like how they casted Kim Dong Hee in this role. He is not suited, acting wise, for what they are hinting next. He is too rookish for this
They both are pretty aware of eachothers situation. Soo Ah is his first love/friend so ofcourse he wont cut ties/abandon…
Yeah, I'm getting tired of reading comments that make it seem like Saeroyi didn't know what Sooah is doing. He is very aware and it's his fault. We don't need people to make excuses for him.
I don't really ship anyone in this show so I'm pretty objective when it comes to ships. With that being said, I don't really understand why people are babying Saeroyi like he is not a grown adult who understands what's happening. So many people are talking about how they can't wait for him to find out Sooah true colors. Yes, Sooah is selfish and a coward but she is not a liar. She told him the truth years ago and he STILL CHOSE to like her. If people don't like it, that's fine but that's his FAULT and NOT HERS.
I don't usual read summaries so I entered Itaewon Class thinking I would get like a school/college setting with a diverse cast with a varity of issues are how to live their live... but I got the exact opposite. I got the dead parent trope, evil chairman, starting a business and a sociopath. That's almost everything I didn't think was gonna happen.
With the amount of people talking about how this is bad and good sometimes makes me scared to watch it lol it doesn't sound consistent but I wanna see Jang Hyuk so I'm about to jump in this.
You can like a morally grey/evil character without making it seem like their decision is something a lot of people…
Subjectivity is up to the viewer. Some could analyze her and find her interesting while others not so much. I like grey characters so I do enjoy Soo Ah but at the same time, I know why people wouldn't like her.
Hate Soo Ah all you want but from a cinematic persepective, she is the most interesting character on the show.…
You can like a morally grey/evil character without making it seem like their decision is something a lot of people will do cause that's not true. How many people you know would be willing to work with a murder who doesn't feel regret for killing their victim? Why do you think ex-convicts have a hard time finding a job? Because people don't want to work with criminals (whether it's thievery, frauds, etc). So for you to say a lot of us will work with someone like Geun Won is simply inaccurate. I can work with an ex-convict if their reasons are justified or their crimes isn't downright awful. However, I would NEVER, EVER work with someone who killed someone I consider a father.
I find it refreshing to see a protagonist be a antagonist for a moment. When Woojin told the patient he saved him just to let him suffer was unexpected. We didn't get that predictable lines where "it's not your fault" "Learn from your mistakes" bullshit.
I watched the first one 4 years ago yet it was still memorable in my head! I wonder if the young girl and the pregnant woman child will be older characters in this movie.
