So, in the other parts of ep40, LXY had given the flower to cure the emperor's poison instead. That's why the emperor was lenient on them despite them being a threat. FDB was mad because LLH disregards his life and goes to find GHM to cure him but LLH leaves before he returns. Zhijin challenges LXY and LXY breaks his sword to show him LXY no longer exists and told him his suspicions was what ruined his relationship. Zhijin repents and everyone goes to search for LXY and waits for him at the beach with DFS.
