and youre more stupid than I thought. i guess we both underestimated each other. and I'm not poor, just realistic. this isn't even about race, cos I'm not racist. you do realize that every country has their own tourist-friendly areas, right? but it's not a reflection of the entire country. your nice cushy hotel isn't what the whole of Egypt is like. they have their own share of starving, poverty stricken locals. this isn't a west African problem. it's an African problem.

Why would I be offended? you're just some stranger on the internet 😂. i was simply shocked by your sheer lack of social awareness. anyway, Egypt and Morocco make up less than 5% of the entire continent. who uses 5% of a thing to judge the whole? look, I don't need to paint Africa in a bad light. the situation here is dire whether you like to accept or not. Lemme tell you something. Right now, in my city(a major city, btw) there is not a single doctor in the public hospitals, because the government cant afford to pay them so they're on strike. this is nothing new. millions of Africans die yearly from illnesses as simple as malaria because our healthcare system is so underdeveloped. this show is set in the 90s. if it's this bad now, imagine how bad it was then. and you're telling me we don't need foreign aid😂. well, maybe you understand the African experience better than I do, Miss Travelled to only 3 African countries.

on the other hand, it's because I'm African I know and see the poverty, hunger, squalor, and constant anguish my people are living in. you come visit. stay in a nice hotel in the developed cities and you think that makes you qualified to speak for us? you think youve seen it all. well, I hope you never have to go through what the average Nigerian goes through. cos if you did, you'd be crying for foreign aid.

wow. well good for you for travelling around Africa. As someone who lives there everyday, I'm telling you that Africa infact does need aid, and what's wrong with it coming from Asians? you racist or something? look, if it didn't make sense to you, that's your personal problem. don't try to frame it like the show was intentionally trying to insult Africa. "Been to a few African countries "😂. Well, I've been to Ukraine a few times. Guess that makes me qualified to say that they don't need foreign aid. that's how you sound.

Some shows surprise you — not with twists or spectacle, but with sincerity. Typhoon Family did exactly that for me. Its characters, themes, and quiet emotional moments stood out in a way I didn’t expect, and I just had to talk about why it left such a strong impression.

If this is about the African aid, save your self-righteous activism. Africa needed financial help then and still needs it now. This is coming from an African. Gosh, people are always looking for what to be offended by😒

pyo kid really had the potential to become one of the best characters in the show. all the writers had to do was focus on his internal struggles and his eventual descent to rock bottom. Instead, they chose to use him as a plot device to cause an EXCESS amount of drama. now he's messing with another company?! I defended him so much but I'm tired. Still love the show as a whole

episode 15 rrally flew by. that's just how it is when youre really enjoying something, i guess. if there's one thing this show is good at, it's pacing. i was shocked when the episode ended cos it didn't feel like an hour at all.

First of all, it's predictable, not predictive. Second, I quite like that they constantly get beaten down cos…
I dont think I wrote any spoilers. I dont even think you wrote any spoilers 🤷. anyway, i get what you mean honestly. it's not even the first part of the drama. these problems spring up throughout the entire series. it's natural to want to see the protagonists not suffer so much. i think the reason I dont have a problem with it is because each new challenge they encounter is so unique that you can't guess what it'll be. yes, you know theyre gonna face a new obstacle soon, but you can never guess what shape or form that obstacle will take, or how they'll overcome it. That's kept me entertained so far. Plus, episode 14 was great relief. I'm glad you still managed to enjoy it, though🙃.

am i the only one who thinks the pyo kid is a complex villain 😂. I get that he's annoying, but he's certainly better written than the kdrama villains I've seen.

I'll never understand this "if you don't like it, don't watch it" mentality. How can I say I didn't like…
thank you. people who say that always sound so dumb to me. and people have said it to me A LOT😂

This show is clearly not written by someone who has much business knowledge, much less informed enough of how…
if you think the villain hates the ML for no reason, you clearly haven't thought well enough about what you're watching.

This show really started out good but became average a few episodes in. Now, it's kinda going off the rails. But…
Tae Poong's ability to sacrifice himself for the business and other people was never portrayed as impulsivity, but as selflessness, and that's not something one should grow from. infact, it's one of his greatest strengths and a defining quality of his character. he already went through this with Miseon after she found out about his deal with the loan shark. his deep feeling and willingness to protect what he cares about isn't a weakness, regardless of how it clouds his judgement. it's one of the reasons I love his character. he's someone we should all aspire to be in that regard. he's grown in lots of other ways.

as for Miseon, I do feel like she's been sidelined a bit compared to the earlier episodes. but she did go through substancial growth in the Thailand episodes, and she's still really essential to the plot.
