Title Dear X Spoiler
I like the scene in the car where Ah-Jin is trying to get free from the seatbelt, and the junseo tries to hold onto her hand. Ah-Jin just flings his hand away like she doesn't even give a shit about himšŸ˜‚. serves him right.

one thing I dont understand, and please somebody explain it to me, is, what exactly did Ah-Jins husband want from her? what was his endgame with her? i get that he was making her go crazy for his entertainment, so why did he keep telling her to do what he wants? what did he want? i needed so much more of his character.

I completed the series today and have changed my review from 7 to 4 because it started of strong the first few…
I dont agree with anything you said except that i am obsessed with her husband. He's gorgeous. I liked him much better than any of the other male characters, and i feel like the show shouldve gone deeper into his character and how his mind works

i mean Mr choi was very much targeted
i nevwr said he wasn't. i know there are people like mr choi and ingang and his grandma who were simply minding their business and Ah-Jin decided to use them. but most of the time, it wasn't like that.

Or Light Yagami from Death Note, Eren Yeager from Attack On Titan, Walter White from Breaking Bad, Olivia Pope…
i know you agree with mešŸ˜‚. it's just so crazy. the show isn't even asking us to root for her or support her. the people who support her only do it because she's entertaining, not cos they agree with what she's doing. i wonder what these commenters would say if theu watched Breaking Bad, or watched "You" and saw Joe Goldberg. It's weird to eant the same thing all the time. Villain protagonists are always a nice change.

I feel like they just glossed over the ending. the immediate aftermath of that documentary wasnt half as bad as it shouldve been. also, what kind of media only tells one side of the story. they didn't even bother giving Ah-Jin a chance to tell her own story. i dont support Ah-Jin, but Junseo really painted it like she those people were just living their lives and she decided to target them.

you will definitely be pissed my dear
Are you deranged? he wasn't even hating on Ah-Jin. simply saying that Junseo needs a fresh start. why so violent? it's not even that deep. this is why people think the fans of this show are unhinged. you might wanna get yourself checked cos this is not normal behavior.

is this the first time kdrama fans are watching a show like this? it's literally nothing new in western tv. Ah-Jin has got nothing on the likes of Amy Dunne and other manipulative women in western movies. so it baffles me when i see posts like "what's the target audience for this?" uhhh, i think the target audience is people who know fiction is not real and all for entertainment.

this one junseo fan/apologist in the comments spamming nonsense like crazyy 😭 like girl he aint letting you…
junseo was insanely annoying and toxic. I'm the last person who'll defend Ah-Jin, but Junseo was easily the worst main character. truly pathetic,

One drama just redefined what an ā€œinsaneā€ villain should look like, and I haven’t stopped thinking about her since. Kim You Jung's masterclass is on full display in Dear X. Here on my thoughts on what I consider one of the best dramas of the year:

i think it was when ahjin didn’t need him anymore, and when he couldn’t even force her to use him for anything…
i think this might be it, buy the show will have to confirm this. I never took Junseo for the type though. throughout the show, it's seemed like he genuinely wants Ah-Jin to just be happy in life.

probably his last straw as what ahjin said to him at least episode 10.. so he finally just woke up.. coz why not?…
that cant be it. it's happened many times before. Ah-Jin doing things to him and giving him some bullshit reason, and then blaming him for her suffering. that conversation ended with Junseo saying that he wouldve endured anything for her if she told him, so why has he suddenly changed?

whats going on with Junseo? its like he's finally starting to free himself from the shackles of Ah-Jins manipulation, but i dont understand what kick-started this transformation. what's making him go back to bis mother? what opened his eyes. I feel like his development just came out of nowhere, so much so that i can't even call it development

People gotta understand this lol1. The show is not encouraging violence, yes.2. The show is not painting Ah-Jin…
It's actually really good. Some people on X are delusional and actually think Ah-Jin is an icon of female empowerment, but they dont speak for all of us. I like her as a character, but I would never admire her in reality.

Title Typhoon Family Spoiler
there is one major gripe I have with the finale; it's never explained why Tae Poong's father never legally compelled Pyo dad to fulfill the promissory note. what? he was just a kind man who let it go? i don't think so. he was going bankrupt and he also had employees looking to him for their survival. it makes no sense that he didn't try to get his money back during all that time. Also, Pyo dad's reason for not paying him back was simply insufficient
