So, basically, even though I didn't really like the plot, the funny characters and tasty cakes kept me going. ^_^

I really liked the story even though it was pretty predictable. It was refreshing because of the humorous way they did it. I only wish they kept up the humor throughout. The series got a little more serious towards the end and that slowed things down a bit. That's really my only complaint with this show.
I thought all the actors did really well, both the main and supporting cast. They were all really funny and I especially liked the hilarious rivalry between Ji Heon and Moo Won! Yay cousin bromance catfights!! ^_^
Overall, Protect the Boss is one of the best lightweight Korean rom-coms I've watched.

Well, let's get the imperfections out of the way first, shall we? Then we can end on an upper. ^_^ I think the main problem was that the plot didn't live up to its potential. It had so many chances to be unique, but then it would fall back onto the same old k-drama cliches. I was also disappointed that the fantasy element was underused. It could've driven the plot instead of mostly being used for laughs. And in the end there were a lot of loose ends that were tied up without really being resolved. Those were the things that bugged me.
Then why did I still give Secret Garden a 9? Because everything else about it was AMAZING! The scenery, cinematography, costumes, action scenes, and people were all really beautiful. The dialogue was well written and well performed, especially the funny bits. But the main thing that was amazing about this show was the cast. SO GOOD! I've never watched Hyun Bin or Ha Ji Won in anything else, but watching this really makes me want to. They did an amazing job with their characters and also with playing eachother during the body swaps. And their chemistry was INCREDBLE! Some of the best I've seen in a k-drama. Those two totally made the show for me. The supporting cast was also amazing. I've seen a lot of the actors before (Lee Philip in Faith, Jang Seo Won in Heartstrings, Yoo In Na in Queen In Hyun's Man, Kim Sung Oh in Midas) so it was lots of fun to see them in this. Everyone played their parts really well and were really funny. An amazing k-drama cast.
So, although Secret Garden was perfect and didn't quite live up to its potential, I still really enjoyed it. Definitely in my top 10. ^_^

I really liked the cast. I liked that they're closer to actual high school age, so they play that teenage awkward-cutesy-angsty-ness really well. I pretty much fell in love with Tae Joon and all the supporting guys were really awesome, too. Jae Hee bugged me a bit, especially towards the end, but not enough to ruin things. Oh, and let's not forget the cutest guy in the whole show: SANGCHU! ^_^ I also liked the music, especially the theme song Stand Up.
My biggest complaint about this show is that it lacks the ensemble feel that the other versions have (especially the Japanese version). The supporting guys were definitely underused, especially those from the other two dorms. Kinda sad. I also thought the ending was a bit anticlimactic, but it's not like the other two versions had super-duper endings either.
So, really just small complaints. A very good show. ^_^

I thought the story was brilliant. It was interesting, unique, and had me coming back for more. The acting was really good. The leads had amazing chemistry and all the supporting roles were well done, too. There was a really nice balance between the historical and modern scenes. And of course the kissing scenes were AMAZING! ^_^
I guess the only thing that I can complain about is that the story got a tiny bit drawn out at the end. But not enough to really bug me. Still my favorite drama and I highly recommend it.

I rather liked City Hunter. The story was interesting, even if it was a bit slow sometimes and a little unbalanced between the action and romance. Lee Min Ho isn't the best actor in the world, but his eye candy-ness definitely makes up for it. All the supporting cast did really well. I especially liked Lee Joon Hyuk as Prosecuter Kim Young Joo. The music was really good. I was on the edge of my seat in a lot of parts, yelling at the screen "No! Don't die!" and such.
So, even if it's not the best drama in the world, it's definitely in my top ten.

I felt it started off really slow and everything was kinda slow-paced and dreamlike. I just couldn't get into it. The acting was okay but it was kinda either over-the-top or bland, no balance in the middle.
The visuals were all really pretty and it got better towards the end. I actually really liked the ending. But that's all I liked about it. Kinda a disappointment.
